Binkles, son of Berhearth, came from a dynasty of Witch Doctors that inhabited Caldeum, which were rich and well known for crafting and experimenting with Runestones. Living in the biggest trade city in the world certainly helped the family business prosper and expand, while having the vision of being the sole family which holds the knowledge of crafting Runestones.
Aratu, being the youngest son of another family of Witch Doctors, the Coldbane family, foresaw the volcano eruption and decided to start selling Runestones as well after seeing the amount of business that came flowing to the Weavers' family shop due to people being afraid and wanting to strengthen and hone their skills to prepare for the invasion. So he went out on a quest to find Runestones outside of Caldeum. Binkles knew his family can lose the monopoly and power that came along with being the only Runestone dealers, decided to dispose of the Coldbane family, sending Aratu a clear message to stay away from everything Runestone related.
Binkles' latest discovery was the Obsidian rune. After experimenting and practicing with it, he made his Firebats carry a plague that strengthens over time. Using this on the Coldbane's family would make it seem like a natural death, unrelated to the Weaver's family.
Tyrael, spotted the event. Being the Archangel of Justice, he decided to intervene. He consulted Itherael, the Archangel of Fate, about what course should be taken. Considering the possibilities Itherael has decided that Tyreal must engage Aratu, the sole survivor of the Coldbane's family and grant him the possibility to avenge his family using the same means of which Binkles used to slaughter his family: The Obsidian Runestone. But before that, he must plant a shard of a Soulstone into Binkles, making him immortal, so he could witness the horror of his family perishing, and forever be haunted by his family's spirits after the deed is done. And so did Tyrael.
At moonrise, Aratu came to Binkles' family house and called forth a Plague of Toads while equipping an Obsidian rune. to his surprise, it was no plague at all. A large toad was risen and ravaged the Weavers' family house, devouring everyone inside, including Binkles.
Being swallowed while imbuted with a fragment of a Soulstone, the toad was able to live forever due to being constantly fed by Binkles's immortal body. Binkles was forever trapped inside. Being consumed made the toad shrink until only Binkles' soul remained inside, making it look like an ordinary toad. The embarrassment and shame has driven him to go to a far away place, New Tristram, where he was not known, to live eternally without anyone knowing who he is, or what his greed has led him to forever be. -

NO ONE CARES ABOUT BOSSES.
That build would NEVER work on the most simple elite pack. Trust me, I've tried. Ancients melt so fast if they stand in molten plagued or desecrated grounds, which they always do.

Although I'm pretty scared atm. They said they are looking into Revenge. This could either mean they believe its too strong at the moment or its the key to making our survivability better.
And Wizards deserved the nerf, but I don't see it as a nerf, I actually think its a buff.
Think of a Wizard with 60k hp. The skill will now absorb up to 60k HP every time they are hit. This sounds as broken as before to me. But we'll have to wait and see I guess.
I keep trying to love my Barb, but its a really, REALLY hard thing to do atm.

I'm almost full 60 gear.
Have like 3 parts that are level 50+

Tried that. I died in 3 hits, even with all CD's up.

I'm seeing my DH, Wiz mates, with gear 1\3 as good as mine, RAPING everything in sight even when I'm moving around trying not to die (3 people in game).
This is ridicules I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. My gear is fine, I'm lacking resists a bit but I still have 59k hp, with 100 resists, and 6,4k armor, and 9.5k dps (without Rage), And even with Ignore Pain up I seem to take a horrible beating. I die in two or three melee hits, and not to even mention how fast I melt to ELITES. Regardless of affixes.
I've tried dozens of builds, none work.
At the moment I'm leveling a DH, lvl 31 already, because I'm sick of this situation. The hot fixes are nice but they don't straighten the line with Barbs.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm dying to know already!

Shadow power reduces damage taken by 65%. The alternative is caltrops with roots.
Still, amazingly fun and inferno viable. Damage and surviveabillity both.
Healing doesn't matter when you get one shot by everything even when stacking vitality. So Shadow Power seems fairly wasted.

Fairly simple.
Get into position and snare targets with ES for extra damade from cull of the weak, start emptying hatred via multishot, when out, use prep, then empty again while restoring all discipline back. Rince and repeat.
Impale for single target bombing.
Just remember to renew ES on targets for the damage buff and surviveabillity.
You got shadow power for life leeching when needed. I think people under estimate this skill due to how usefull smokescreen is. But it just heals for SO MUCH.
You're welcome.

I just see how squishy I am with lvl 60 gear, 40k~ hp, and resists, while Wizards can tank better then I do with force armor, regen, teleport, and diamond skin.
Do you think force armor will change soon? I always loved the idea of not needing armor and relaying on your shield to survive. Done this in Skyrim, and thought about force armor orianted build ever since the runes were introduced. Even though I have to admit this is a fairly broken spell, to say the least ;p
But seeing as force armor and teleport are the two main reasons I want to roll Wizard, I'm just not sure anymore.
Thoughts?

I get the random part. Which is completely fine with me. Diablo was always about being random. Even if this is a replacement for gambling, the fact that the AH is in arms reach makes it useless.
There is one simple reason to why BS is not going to be used, by anyone, ever.
It costs gold, a LOT of gold, to make an item.
I don't mind wasting mats. Thats understandable. But waste 30k on a rare crafted item, which is completely random, + THE MATS, is INSANE, not cost worthy, and just plain stupid, since for 30k I can get a GREAT item off the auction house. And thats taking the best case scenario which I will get what I need on the first try. You can try 5-10 times and get nothing, and throw 300k down the drain, without even getting a single good item to even try to sell to get some of the investment back. For 300k I can buy a complete gear set from the AH.
There is a simple fix.
Remove gold cost from crafting. Then there would be a use to spend all the mats we have. Because atm, I don't know anyone who has yet to invest into crafting with the same reason. "Costs too much, I'm just buying on AH".
Otherwise,
I don't see anyone using this.

So now its only dumping gold on him to make him train?
Since I tried to give him stuff to make and it didn't make the progress bar go further.
So gold only?
I can safely invest my money into BS without worrying theres a better (cheaper, faster) way to do so?
