Why would you waste money on the AH when it's so easy to find great gear now by playing the game?
Bcuz most of the new loot is still junk compared to good "legacy" stuff?
Which is going to be replaced in 2 weeks. Good investment.

I have to wait for RoS to come out first. Not a lot of people got into the beta.
This. We're short a couple hundred thousand players to be able to make any statistically significant findings.

Not to mention the next build is going to change everything.

posted a message on Can someone explain Torment for me?
    Quote from Finder

I really hope they don't lock certain legendaries away in Torment. I don't mind them having a higher droprate there, but not a fan people not playing torment having no chance at them at all.
Don't worry, Torment 1 can be handled fairly easily with the right build and Mystic-ified Rares. It's past that point where things start to get a little crazy.

posted a message on A little Heart to Heart about RoS...
    Quote from Hawke323

It is certain that this post is written by a harm heart player, but that post has nothing worthy left after filtered by logic and facts.
    1. Low drop rate Does anyone still remember what they said about F&F? "You have nothing left to player after farming for 3 days ! This game sucks!" And now they say "I can't get a exciting legendary every next corner. This game sucks! ", and what? He doesn't even play pass EXPERT and he expects a pile of legendary drop? I play on PTR at T3 now, and get averagely 1 legendary per hour even though there is NO high-monster-density rifts, NO gambling, NO cache rewards and NO bounty reward. So I don't think the droprate is low now. Remember, the fact is: What some players want now, is the droprate of MP10 (what they are playing at now live) at MP3/4 (Master/Torment1).
Now what do you think ? 2. Bloodshards: And the dear poster said there is no need to play pass expert because Bloodshards are everything... It certainly DOES NOT remind me of countless complains about "Bloodshards are useless!", and finallymake BLZ allow legendary items to be acquired from gambling. Whoever only play Expert and thinks something useless very valuable... I really don't think he is that "expert". 3. And droprates droprates and... starving monkey? The droprate of F&F is like MP20, and now he has only MP1 (is expert difficulty really as hard as MP1?) droprate. Sure, any human can't adapt instantly. But before complains, he should think, is it because he is starving now, or he was too full?
Surely there are a lot of things need to improved about RoS, too many that can't even be counted with one or two hands. But how can a post that complains about droprates only because: "They want droprates of MP10 (live) or MP20 (F&F) at MP 1/4" move you like this?
You should refrain from commenting on the status of the Beta with only PTR experience. The difference between Level 60 Torment 3 and Level 70 Torment 3 is night and day for one thing. You also seem to be under the mistaken impression that drop rates differ between the non-Torment difficulties. They don't. Since gambling is now the most efficient way to get legendaries, people are just split-farming bounties on Expert (the lowest, and thus fastest difficulty to get the most shards on) or Normal (for pure speed), and then sitting in town spam clicking a vendor's inventory. It's not fun in the least. People aren't upset that you can now gamble for legendaries, we're upset that it was used as an excuse to not increase the terrible legendary drop rate. More than any other point, it should be a huge red flag that drop rates are lower than the current LIVE servers, but loot is now BoA.

Teleport no longer seems to get you over Waller walls. Edit: Or at least it seems to be buggy. My Hardcore Wiz is getting over some while my Softcore wiz didn't seem to be able to make it over any. (Not that I think Hard vs Soft matters at all).

You'll know you have Beta if under the Region selection you see Beta: Reaper of Souls above PTR: Diablo III.

posted a message on High hopes for DH on expansion
    Quote from Atomnium

Sorry to disapoint but DH are in a worse place in ROS than they were in Original Diablo 3.

Basically, all classes have pulls and group up mechanism as well as high damage AoE, Perma CC or immunity to damage legendary effects while the DH still has to dodge damage in order to survive. In terms of damage it is the worst class by far (Not that it matters too much since Crushing Blow rules the damage of every class.)

Basically, in terms of efficiency and potency it is something like :

    - Crusader (Because of bugged Laser and Horse that makes you run through things)
    - Barbarian (Because of OP invulnerability belt)
    - Monk (Because of Az'tarask fists)
    - Witch Doctor (Because of pirhanas, OP frogs with the legenary that makes them aim automatically)
    - Wizard (Decent AoE, and lots of perma CC combos)
    - Demon Hunter (Has absolutely nothing unique it brings to a group, has worst dps, has worst survivability and worst CC)

I would however remind that the Friends and Family BETA is really not the finished game and things are going to change dramatically. I still think that the DH is beyond Salvation and will never compete with other class because of the 6 skills limitations combined with the 2 ressources system, the very lacking set of skills in many departments (Including CC) and the very fact (that is not going to change anytime soon) that the best way to kill is to group mobs around you and kill them (As every other class does maybe except Wizard) almost all DH skills have blind spots, except those who don't feel like DH spells at all "Fan of knives" or "Strafe".

Basically you have one way to build DH efficiently on the BETA, it is to stack survivability items, stack Crushing Blow, and use a Strafe / Fan of knives or Melee equivalent, equiping the crushing globes mace and play like a barb. I'm pretty sure if it stays that way it won't please Old amazon players of even newer players that want to feel like a ranger hunting demons.

I would nuance my claim as the crushing blow is the worst mechanism ever invented for a Diablo Game and ruins the progression aspect and undermines the difficulty of reaching higher torment levels, and that most efficient classes are based on this stat. So Wait and see.

Little confused by this, have you been watching Modz play his DH? He's tearing things to pieces on Torment VI and not really having problems doing it (not actually sure if he's using CB or not, but I'm pretty sure it's just a blind on hit build with huge AS). Besides, saying that DH's suck compared to other classes with clearly broken items/skills that are obviously going to be tuned before live is a little stupid.

Picked Loot 1.5 because I love that it's self found and I want to see what we can look forward to with 2.0.

Local co-op is a close 2nd though as I could finally get a friend to play the game with that.

360 version if I am selected, thanks!

posted a message on Putting 1000$ into my monk need help picking the right gear.
Just as a heads up, in a game entirely focused on getting new loot, buying that quality of gear will not only trivialize the game to the point of boredom, it will make playing the game pointless as you'll literally never find anything better than it.

If you really do actually love this game like you claim then you should play it, not pay it.
