The real issue is this:
Why is doing this more fun, beneficial, and lucrative, than doing a Greater Rift the normal way?
Furthermore, no one is getting banned for this. Unless Blizzard issues in-game warning, players have fair grounds to play within the scope of the game, unaltered.
Blame QA, not the players who are just trying to keep up/compete/find some enjoyment in the grind. Bugs add interesting spikes in an otherwise static experience right now.
I'd also say that we discovered this by accident two days ago due to a failed GR cancellation and did not try to duplicate in days following, sighting that 2 minute GR35 runs were overall more beneficial in terms of primarily exp, but also total Legs + Bloodshards per hour.
What you just spewed is complete bullshit. Blizzards 'warning' is the eula, they don't have to specifically name every single instance of possibilities.
This is supposed to be a 4 month long season and we're less than a week in. There needs to be punishment for this, whether it's a ban or a gear reset as we'll as leader board position wiped. Exploits always get through, but what will make me greatly disappointed in Blizzard is if there's no rectification.

For the love of god give it up. You don't need those goddamned bracers to do well in GRifts. The new WW set is amazing and the Raekor set is still great without some stupid bracers that make the game even more faceroll. Sorry for your loss, FOTM rerollers.
^^^Thank You.
So disappointed that after this excellent patch, all the focus is directly on 1 missing item.

Has it ever occured to you that not everybody thinks about this the way you do? There are plenty of people who still compete within the RNG factors that this game has.
But hey, it's easier to call everybody fuckheads and be arrogant about it. Go and google "empathy", it will be an eye opener for you.

Wyatt amd Travis are designers (lead and technical? not sure... anyway) so it's expected of them not to have 100% knowledge about the game and especially about stuff that is on the live servers atm. These guys are working on designing stuff like future content patches and expansions so i'm sure that by now they probably forgot most of the stuff that is going on with the live version.
I don't see how you say it is "expected". If you create a computer game, or design for that computer game, you should live/eat/breathe/sleep that computer game. That's what Blizzard is all about and what has made Blizzard what it is. The tavern talk was a slap in the face to many of us Diablofans who truly love the franchise and expect more from Blizzard. Not knowing changes you more than likely had to oversee and execute is poor form and people are rightly upset about it.
If it was any other gaming company, sure, we could "expect" less of them. This is a Blizzard game. We expect the best from Blizzard because that's generally what they've given us, time and time again. The only hope is Josh Mosqueira, at least he has given this game the love and attention it deserves.
Sorry... BULLSHIT.
"live/eat/breathe/sleep that computer game" are you being serious? It's their job, do you live, eat, breathe whatever while thinking about your daily job all the time? And "slap in the face"<-??? Dude, they took their time to come to a freaking studio and sit down and answer questions from retards on twitch... Do you think they really had to do that? I'm sure that they can just say "fuck it" and never stream anything again, shutdown the whole forums and fuck the community's feedback if it's so toxic (just keep an mvp forum of some sort). This sense of self entitlement is insane i jsut can't believe it.
It´s a designer TEAM. Put the whole team in a room and fling questions at them, I am pretty sure they will get most answers right. Tavern talk= 3 guys. Not the entire team.
They never said they don´t give a shit about the leaderboards and endgame.
@ Sick_Gaming: Seems to me you didn´t quite get what they were talking about. And you are a troll, that is why you got banned. Mimimi.
I don't know i think you didn't read my whole post, i shouldn't have put that tldr there i guess. If you read the rest of my post you will realize that i don't expect these two designers to have all the answers. However, they did kinda say a few times (not only in this tavern talk) that they don't give a shit abotu leaderboards and that they don't balance the game around them - It's not my opinion.

After reading your thread, i feel dumber as well. Plain and simple....If you don't like it, do something else. Complaining for attention will get you nowhere.

Normal weapons should just have the same damage range as Ancients. Then the only benefit to ancient is stat increases, which are meaningful but not gamebreaking (as with ancient armor pieces).
It would make ancient weapons nice, but not essentially required. It's just the increased damage that makes them that way.

Quote from Doez
The crafting recipes now require those common junk materials along with the essences, etc. In all of my playtime yesterday, I only saw 2 of those things drop. Do I need to pick up gray crap to salvage?

Now wait for it. The whining will come soon enough.Quote from thundersteele
Everyone cried for better loot, now you got it. All items can now roll ilvl 63 affixes when they are dropped from lvl 63 mobs. So you can farm anywhere in Inferno, as long as you at least have Monster Power at 1, all mobs are lvl 63, so all items (including the ilvl 58 ones) can roll the highest affixes
Oh look, there's even another type I didn't foresee. "Damn they gave me more chances of getting good loot! I hate you Blizz!!!!". Although he's probably just saying he hates the required id'ing when in previous game it took us half a second to id everything - which is an issue I can understand and relate to.Quote from FaithRaven
Fuck so we will actually spend more time IDing that before? Damn this. They reduce the ID time by 3x but increase the number of items we need to pick and ID by 5x.

To be competitive vs. other cheaters, haha. That is a glorious response. Telling people to stop being a douche while being a douche is a nice touch too.

I think this will be the winning combo regarding gear, but I don't think I'll be using EP at all. I love the spirit rune from it, but I think I'll use a defensive ability in its place. Punch stuff, be mindful of your DS charges, and stuff dies soon after. I'm still tossing up the ideas of using an Inna's daibo to get the 4pc bonus with a RoRG, or a FD/Furnace with F+R.
I loved my Sunwuko set, but the new Rainment's is some of the most fun I've ever had in a Diablo game.

You must be kidding. But then again, your last statement is beyond hilarious, so maybe that's what you actually think and are not joking. Your comparison to the bracers vs. the updated Nat set has absolutely nothing in common. As if the updated IK set, Raekor set, and Wastes set offer nothing to boost your char, right? DH's don't need armor sets or set bonuses! Don't give them survival bonuses, because it's too much fun dying in 1-hit to a jailer effect!
If Blizzard made bracers for other classes that gave every rune of their most powerful cooldown, and not for Barbs, maybe you'd understand. If you have played Barb for as long as you have claimed, I figured you'd understand the overpowered synergy of the bracers more than it just being "a little op."
Fact of the matter is that people want the easiest mode and least path of resistance. Those bracers gave you that...on the PTR. It's getting really annoying that the bnet whining is trickling here more and more.

The narrow-minded thinking of many people in this thread. D3 seasons try to introduce a competitive and social aspect. You see who is on top, and you try to surpass them. You want to see your name on the boards. Nothing more than that. The game is not balanced and never will be, just like every other game out there. If you truly think balance is the only factor in competition, then all MOBAs, RTS, and MMOs are null and void of it.
Unfortunately with this game, the competition revolves around scoring an Ancient Furnace. If you use a bot 24/7, the odds are in your favor to get one and begin your climb up. Hell, it saves you time if you hate leveling to 70 in the first place. Sure it does not ruin *my* personal experience, but it does give people an edge if you care about seasons. I would rather see all Chinese spam permanently rid of first, if I had to choose.

Hey guys, I'm going to be childish and call you all names on the forums, but I don't know why I was banned! It would be nice if bnet and this site could share IP bans to aid in nonsense elimination.

What if you want to get a GR key that is lower than your max for fast clears to get a few pieces of gear and upgrade your gems?

I chuckled that you are calling D3 bad because you played for a few days in Vanilla.

I'm in it for the long haul, so the patch does not bother me. I really loved how M6 DH's mimicked a D2 Trapsin with their sentries before, but the change seems even more overpowered on top of making you actually attack now.
