posted a message on D3 RoS preparation advice.
My preparation is a little different from yours, but neither is incorrect. The only thing I'm doing to prepare for RoS is getting sleep the night before so I can be up at 3am to kill demons until my eyes bleed.

posted a message on Co-Op: Too Strong
This is unreal. People often complained that grouping sucked and there was no reason to ever do so, and now people are complaining that grouping shouldn't be as viable an option as running solo. People complained that the game sucked because there was no reason to ever socialize or go beyond playing with your follower. Now Blizzard has heard your cries and made grouping fun, fast, and efficient.

    What more do you want?

You don't need to play 14 hours a day to make grouping worthwhile. I jump into agame with friends, play for an hour, go to bed. I get replaced as quickly as I jumped in and things carry on. Stop worrying about other people and play the game for your own enjoyment. I accept that I'll never catch up to Morikiopa, Modz, etc in Paragon levels or possibly even their gear levels because of their lifestyle/playstyle. Oh boo hoo, life goes on, but I'm still enjoying the time I have in-game.

posted a message on 2.0 finally here. What are your impressions thus far?
I found 3 upgrades for my WD and 1 for my barb last night, and a legendary belt that was sort of a side-grade. What I like about loot 2.0 is that these drops make me ponder swapping out a build to try something else out. I'm a zombie bear whore for sure, but when you start getting +% to abilities on different pieces plus all the other cool stats, it's worth trying something new!

Overall, the gameplay feels different, but I greatly enjoy it. I appreciate the assets loading faster, so I'm not dying from my PC freezing up as it loads everything for the first time. I like the darker feel, paragon 2.0, and pretty much everything else that has been delivered to us. My least favorite thing about yesterday is the spectral hound vanity thing. It just seems out of place.

Looking forward to all the new QQ threads that will appear, because we all need the entertainment from butthurt people.
All I know is that the D3 release was probably the most entertaining release ever.
You must not have played many games at launch, then. A jammed up login queue is far from the worst (or entertaining as you put it) to have happened at launch. Just curious why you created a thread asking about what people are excited about when you clearly have no intentions of buying RoS from another thread- regardless of what people say.

posted a message on Why I am (not) buying the expansion
I choose to salute people who don't think that investing a lot of play time in a video game should result in a financial kickback, especially botters or former botters. Can't wait for RoS to come out, take care sad pandas.

posted a message on Thank you Curse!
I figured that I had a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting into the ESO beta, until you guys opened up the contest to everyone. After signing up, a key was generated to my surprise and now I'm downloading the patcher!

Between RoS and ESO coming out soon to consume all my free time, I'm so stoked to finally get into one of these betas, and it's all because of Curse! Thanks again!

You are a moron if you have to spend more time in the AH than in the game.

    Simple as that.

Yet you think that using the AH is a must to progress. You are obviously way smarter than us.

I'm really looking forward to farming other acts now with this new feature. Act 1 is my favorite, so I'll be so glad to ditch act 3 for a while and still have the same odds at the same gear.

When you say "highest Diablo player" do you mean the player with the most drugs currently in his system?

posted a message on What brings you back to Diablo 3?
    Quote from maliceubx

I haven't come back. I quit after about a month and occasionally check for game changes but all in all it just doesn't feel like Diablo. A lot of people say "you don't remember Diablo 2 like it actually was" but Ive put more hours into D2 in the past couple months than in D3 and I can tell you that it is still a much more satisfying game to play right now. Once they fix the boring loot issue, bring in some real challenge instead of just ramping the numbers per difficulty, and add some sort of ladder to remove this beta-worthy clusterfuck of changes reflected back into the game - then.. and only then, will I come back. Until then though, there is plenty to do, and plenty of work for Jay's team.

I just recently bought another house and during the move, had no internet, cable tv, etc. for 2 or 3 days while patiently waiting for the hookup. I decided to play a little D2 thanks to offline mode of course. After cleansing the Den of Evil, I just had to turn the game off. Its value has run dry for me over the course of the last decade and it's just unbearable to play. (EDIT) It's so bad for me now that I even loaded up Skyrim to play instead of D2!

I'm truly intrigued by people who feel it is better than anything D3 offers, even after all these years. I'm totally ok with everyone having different opinions, but the graphics give me migraines, the combat of standing still swinging a weapon is dull and the majority of loots are god-awful (just like people say about D3.) What does D2 really have that makes you play it over D3?
