Depends on what class and set/LoN set-up you play with.

For WD gargs, Ess of Johan can be a problem as the grouping of mobs could go "totally wrong".

Thunderfury is so-so, I prefer Eun-Jang-do (where you roll the damage type to lightning) to proc Wyrdward, and I even combine that with a Dovu Energy trap (for longer stuns, not sure how much it helps though).

RG's usually get "very active" in their last life segment, Eun-Jang-Do can almost completely freeze them at that point so the last part of the RG fight is easier then.

This. I can't live without Eun-Jang-Do, it makes a HUGE difference in rift guardians, which as Mad Tom said, get very active in the last 20%. That stun is amazing. I also love the Freeze of Deflection, for the same reason, and Ess of Johan as well - it works great if you don't use a pull-spell in your build.

posted a message on Stash tab for non-seasonal players

Kibu, I don't usually reply to idiots, but here goes...

The whole idea that I was explaining was that people shouldn't hold so dear something so small and lame, a QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENT, not wings, not a great achievement, not a uber-cool item....it's just a freaking stash tab. You worked for this? Are you actually saying that the only reason you played season is to get the stash tab? Cry me a river. Blizzard shouldn't use the stash tab as a carrot, this is something way to common. I do agree you should be rewarded for playing seasons, here are some examples I would deem worthy to cry for as you are now over the stash tab: Wings, unobtainable item in NS, pets, extra-experience (? just an idea, not sure if good or not)...I would definitely understand if you would be crying if blizzard handed out these kind of rewards. Blizzard should offer something unique, cool for seasonal players. The stash tab is just a pathetic replacement for that.

I don't think anyone can disagree that the rewards for playing season should be much cooler than this. Maybe give some additional rewards for players unlocking the seasonal achievements for 2-3 seasons in a row. There are many cool (AND VERY EASY TO IMPLEMENT) ideas that could be inserted in Diablo. Blizzard keep on demonstrating they don't really give a flying f**k.

Well, goodbye and good riddance, you elitist prick. :)

This sort of attitude is the bane of all online games. Another stash tab is not an achievement, it doesn't define you as a more worthy player or not, it's just a quality of life improvement that blizzard "abused" to give an illusion of a reward for playing the seasons. There should be another more meaningfull reward for those players that invest the time and effort in the seasons.

I have to agree on that, 5-6 days to do GR 70 from scratch seems impossible to me, I don't have enough time or patience to invest in this game for this thing...this is a really shitty design for NS players...

posted a message on Issues with Diablo 3 character planner

The Endless Walk set paired with a stone of jordan is actually better than F&R, because SoJ also gives discipline. F&R setup = 3440 × 2.25 = 7740% vs Endless Walk setup = 3920 × 2 = 7840%. It's slightly better but harder to maintain full uptime of the whole bonus, which is why most preffer F&R. But endless walk does give you some dmg reduction, it's all about personal prefference.

I didn't bother to finish reading bwcause you were wrong from the start....the F&R rings are MULTIPLICATIVE, that's not how their bonus is being calculated....you even have the details to show this in your char planner. The F&R bonus = 50%*50%= 125% or 2.25 multiplier. This also gets multiplied to your other multipliers. For your example, 3440% + 3440% * 125% or 3440% * 2.25

posted a message on Would you play season 7 (or any season) if no stash tab given?

There are 10-15 comments here on this post who say "we love seasons, we love fresh starts for no reason and then reset in 3 months!" Meanwhile, there are hundreds of posts in Nevalistis topic from people saying how much they hate seasons and they only play it for the stash tab. It's clear what the general opinion is, this topic is irrelevant.

posted a message on Any PTR research done into T13?

I had no idea that doing solo torments is 60% more difficult than in 4 players...Are you sure about the accuracy of this data? And why on earth is this implemented in game? Simply to encourange party-play more than solo-play?

posted a message on Wand of Woh drop rate increased in 2.4.2?

Btw i've been crafting wands to get Ancient Unstable Scepter and guess what.. None in 200 wands lul. And i got like 15 non-ancient crappy ones.

You've actually risen an interesting question for me, although maybe a noobish one: What is the most effective way to farm an ANCIENT weapon? Upgrading Rares or Reforging with Bounty mats? to me bounty farming seems more time consuming, but at the same, upgrading rares has given me no results with quite a big number of upgrades made for Wand of Woh, Twister Sword and Soul Harvester....Still no ancient after all these months.
