I really love the idea of the melee illusionist. Whats gonna be the trick is to balance defense vs the illusionist passive. This is primarily a funbuild im looking at, but it would be awesome to see it in action at least:
Lots of twisters (and +40 energy from skills to be able to cast many at one time to take advantage of the rune)
Illusions from teleport and mirror image to tank up some damage while spectral blade is used while twisters roam (Simulacrum probably better than Duplicates but 7 illusions looks to good to pass up). If i get hit i will hopefully be able to blink back and get plenty of distraction up to rinse and repeat.
All this with electrify to add more chaos to the battle.
I just look at crafted gear as ''bonus gear'' from the items you find. For every X item you find and salvage you will get a new chance of getting an item you like. From what i know, dropped gear and crafted gear are very similiar and ultimately comes from the same place.
Interesting. I think i like it this way. Certain weapons will be best with certain builds, making the difference in weapons more than their attackspeed.
I remember them saying they probably would be balancing CCs for PvP. So i would expect the durations of stuns/fears etc in PvP to be abit shorter than the tooltip says.

Maybe (this is a hunch) the reason it bugged is because you tried to sacrifice Lydia? I killed the manly chick who you fistfight with, in the back of The Bannered Mare (Whiterun) with the sacrificial dagger & had no problems. Dauroth killed ~someone~ without the dagger and had no problems, but maybe it wasn't Lydia. I'm not sure, just trying to guess at the problem at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I thought of the same and that COULD be the reason, but i doubt it since she is just another companion you can have. Anyways i dont have any saves just before i sacrificed her, so hopefully it will get fixed in a patch or something. What reward am i missing out on from the quest line?...
I did not get the next step no. She just keeps repeating the same words. And i killed the sacrifice (Lydia) with the dagger. I googled it and another dude got the same bug aswell. Just sucks that only a few get the bug, but most dont. Maybe that way it wont be fixed either.
I wish they would change it to a 'per hit' basis. Atleast that wouldnt force you into taking other passives/skills. I remember them saying they didnt want to force people into taking other skills just based on one (too much synergies). I expect this 'per crit' to change.
They reduced the spirit cost for Seven Sided Strike to 50. They also removed the cooldown from Wave of Light and gave it a massive damage boost- Pillar of the ancients now does 330% + 432%. So they didn't only get nerfed, they're just trying to make other skills just as good.
FYI it (Pillar of the Ancients) was a bonus 500% before, so it's less now than it was.
Maybe thats why they changed the skill; It was good vs low monsters, but vs bosses/champions it got almost useless. Tho what i dont like now is that every throwing build will be based around crit. Im feeling forced to get Ruthless and Weapon Master passives cause of it, and maybe overpower/revenge aswell...
I expect them to readjust spirit cost of Lashing Tail and Lethal Decoy to balance the new numbers. Anyways the buff to lethal decoy was much needed.
Overall i liked the changes. Obviously they nerfed generators and buffed most of the spenders. Skills that people didnt use much before got some much needed love, like Lethal Decoy and Tempest Rush. I liked the idea of Tempest Rush before, but it didnt seem to do enough damage. Now it deals a good deal of damage and still has good use. The result is more variety in spenders, and i think generators alike.
Btw i they removed the passive that removes cooldown, but increases spirit cost.
Thanks man! I remember that Fists of Thunder were faster than Deadly Reach before atleast. Maybe they just buffed the speed of Deadly Reach since thats what i was comparing it with before/after the patch.
