Are you joking? The people who are banned are the ones who offer nothing to the conversation but complaints. The forums are there for discussion, not whining. The guys who just says everything sucks deserves to be banned, if he can't even offer an opinion on what could be done to improve the situation.

I am actually on the same boat, who refuse to spend a dime on RMAH and stop playing the game entirely as they make the drop rates so bad to force you to use RMAH
And what's wrong with the gold AH? It's generally got better items on it, and you don't have to spend any cash.

Also today I found that there was a nice enrage affix attached to elite mobs which only gives approx 3 mins to fight them before you are essentially killed off.
That isn't an affix- all elite mobs have it. An affix is a random ability (such as waller or arcane enchanted) which elites have a chance of rolling up.
And yeah, completely skipping over the "right" answer- farm act 1- shows that you care more about bashing the game than playing it. If that's the case, cool, but you should probably just stop playing rather than whining for attention.
I gave myself $20 seed money, and I plan on never adding to my balance again with real money. However, if I find stuff that other people will buy, and get more b.net balance that way, I have no problem spending that on other items.
I know the seed money isn't strictly necessary for this plan, but it makes it such that if I see a good deal to resell, I can get things rolling that much faster.
To my knowledge, they don't scale at all, as each skill bonus affix has only one item slot that it can spawn on, so you can only ever have one equipped.
The real problem here is that the people who exploited to get more gold could then have bought anything and everything they wanted on the AH, potentially at ridiculous prices, and then all those transactions would have to be tracked and reversed... And the gold from those could have been used for something else, and blah blah blah it goes on a huge number of steps and completely "innocent" people are suddenly coming into spontaneously created gold, and the economy is heavily altered. Sure they could potentially track it all down, but while they're doing it more steps are being added, so they'd most likely have to take down the AH completely during that time, and disable trading too....

Playing through normal, the wizard was fine. I died maybe a handful of times total, but 3 of them being on the last boss. I haven't gotten too far in nightmare yet (near end of act 1), but so far I'm seeing more need for vitality, and not much else has changed (in terms of playstyle) and I'm doing fine.
My personal opinion is even less telling, but I think I had the most fun this weekend with a wizard using Ray of Frost and Spectral Blade. I had always thought spectral blade looked like an idiotic skill to even have as a wizard, but it's somehow just amazingly fun to use. Go figure...
Rubies specifically offering +exp gain (+31% radiant star) seem a little curious. Though the bonus only comes from socketing in helms. Actually... on later thought, if those top tier gems are rare as suspected I suppose socketing them in a rusty horned bucket might not be so wise.
Well, since you can just pull them back out of that rusty horned bucket when you get something better, there's really no downside to it...
