Casuals represent most of the playerbase, and since they merged with Activision, it has become clear that they care more about money than deep content.
One thing you can be certain of is that D4 will have many aspects that cater to the casuals you hate so much. That does not mean D4 will be bad though. -

This is still a patch notes for the Beta client. For the necromancer. Probably they just want to finish testing the new class first.
I guess we will see changes for other classes once 2.6 hits the PTR for the whole community.
That one and the Raise Dead gains the Singularity rune gaining the bonuses of your remaining Essence while only consuming the normal amount. are both missing, and both seem like really powerful items, maybe they'll come in the next ptr patch, alongside some bracers and belts with much needed dmg reduction.

Coldhatez1 is right though, they said PvP would be comming soon after release, it even says so on the game's box, there were trailers and demos for pvp, alot of my friends bought the game mainly for pvp and have since quit because of blizzards lack of word/professionalism... i still love the game and the potential it has, but this dev team sure is wasting that potential... oh well maybe the cosmetic window is the road to cosmetic micro-transactions so they can have money to introduce a proper pvp mode.

I also hope by changing Vanilla sets they give some love to the Wizard. It should be pretty easy to make something like Archon set give 200% increased damage on Archon form at least until they figure out what they want to do with those. I'd love to play that class on Season 2, but it's just not gonna happen if it's remotely the same as Season 1 (100% Firebirds). -

Guess nothing was done with this platform regarding Diablo 4 now that it's live, i still check everyday but it is really sad to see Dfans die like this...
i've played Diablo specifically for the past 27 years, i was 11years old when Diablo the original launched and it was fucking awesome,
and i don't know how but diablo 2 managed to beat it and even improve upon it, i thought d2 was the ultimate game back in the day, since then i've played all blizzard titles to exhaustion 7000+ hours on diablo 3, 430+ days played on wow etc... so i can safely say (nostalgia/fanboy glasses apart), diablo 4 is pretty awesome, and given that it's the first live service diablo game it has promise for sure if blizz does what they should, but if they just let it be it'll slowly die... just like DiabloFans

well i'm an old fart aswell, so i can tell you it's not the game for us, u play with your fingers on the screen, pretty much like most mobile games, the game is pretty shallow graphics wise and itemization, it does seem to have alot of content but it's also kinda pay to win...
You can watch gameplay videos of it on youtube from the demo at blizzcon when it got announced or ppl playing the alpha, it's just a worse d3.

Given that D4 is 20 years after D3 i very much doubt Kormac is even alive, but even if he is the dude is around 60+ years, doesn't make for a very effective templar. xD

it unlocks all skills, but in a gr 100+ u need the undying token or followers will always be dead.

it seems like an armored class, maybe paladin, the archtype is still mising, that and a summoner, maybe they'll fuse the two an create a dark knight of sorts like a dark paladin/necro mix, who knows...

You can turn that off changing some browser settings, at least in D3, dunno why it works but it does.

i'm currently in top 150 EU in NS (which is even harder than season) and i never botted, i only have 2600 paragon, there are guys below me with 6500+ paragon...
TLDR: losers complain, winners persist.
