Assuming one of the reveals will be a Diablo II remaster, is one of the things that will be updated in that game a built-in smooth multiplayer system via the Battlenet launcher/friends system? Playing Diablo III with my friends is so easy and simple, so I am hoping for a similar coop system with a Diablo II remaster. Thanks for all you do for Diablo gamers.

If you look at the real problem of botting, and many players who essentially make D3 full-time jobs without botting, and then compare them to others who make minimal time investments...it gets confusing. Only one thing is factored into the current equation...GR level. But, what if Blizzard factored another important element into the equation -- time invested on that toon? It might be interesting and would result in vastly different leaderboards. Botting might go away completely on its own because if players are ranked by an equation such as hours played/GR level, then botting would shoot someone in the foot.

Oh, yeah, Emmo -- a Manald Heal Electrocute LoN Wizard would be pretty fun too. I might have to make two S16 toons.

I'd be curious if a LoN thorns Barb would be more viable than before. I am starting with an IK Barb since IK is the free set, but I'll be collecting thorns pieces just to see how a LoN version does with the new buff.

Followers could actually be one way to completely change D3 for the better. Not sure who has played the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, but the main toon's Katarina follower has an incredible set of skills to choose from. Gearing her up is very, very important. She does great damage, and she is included in parties. Everyone in the party has their own Katarina.
D3 Follower suggestions:
** Offer up Belt/Gloves/Boots/Bracers slots for followers.
** No more "Cannot die" relic because that is the only option players have. By offering more slots and having us work for their gear we earn a follower's durability.
** Double or triple the available skills to every follower.
** Allow followers to be present in parties, but fade them out like WD minions so as to not be too visually distracting.

The Death's Bargain pants have always intrigued me. For solo leveling up to 70, if you're lucky and have a low level pair, I have found them to be quite effective. But, then they lose steam once you ramp up the difficulty.
Would the LoN ring set boost the aura damage? Would physical bonus on bracers and amulet also boost the aura?

I could not agree more with your philosophy, Sameto97. The way everything scales off weapon damage and set bonuses vs. the D2 way of investing points into the skills themselves is just...weird.

Hmmm...maybe it's my American interpretation of the word "gypsy" but it's not a word I associate with strength, fighting demons, etc. I am envisioning Cher's Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves song and seeing people dressed in rags asking for handouts and working at circuses.

Well, why talk about it if it's not even available in the West? Yes, I know you can jump through all these hoops to play it, but I cannot be bothered with that. Just like I refuse to play POE solely based on the fact that the developers make you jump through hoops to get a decent loot filter. No, I am not going to download a 3rd party whatever when that should be built right into the game UI.

Indeed, but I totally feel the same way he does. Unless they release some type of update in the next month offering at least minor changes I cannot bring myself to rebirth a toon for Season 16.

Better meaning what? Are your drops going to be better with one of your scenarios compared to the other? If so, I have never heard of that. The only true variable I know of in the whole drop system is that as you go up in T levels or in GR levels, then you get more drops. No question about that. We all agree there. Look at the number of greens and oranges that drop in a T1 versus a T13. BUT...assuming you have done a solo 70, that T1 can drop a Primal just as a T13. It's just that your chance of Primals goes up because drop rate goes up. But, that does not mean that individual ancients/Primals on their own in low T's or GRs have worse stats.

To be honest, I hope Blizzard removes some of the RNG out of the next rendition of the game. I would rather farm two to three times as long for mats for guaranteed recipes -- i.e. use x + y and you're going to get crit chance, or whatever. Compared to doing an hour of public T13 bounty groups yesterday, rerolling a pair of shoulders 30 times and never having them come out ancient. That just causes massive frustration. Give me a guaranteed recipe -- 50 bounty mats instead of 5 for ancient.

Fingers crossed that all of this sees the light of day. I'd happily pay $15/month for a World of Sanctuary MMO done right.

Welcome, Nic. It's a good time to get back into the game. Got a Blizzcon virtual ticket?

My only issue with Condemn Crusader on this list is you really have to have perfect gear -- i.e. getting cooldown to 56% in order to have Akarat's Champion available 100% of the time. And if you do not numlock cheat to have the computer babysit cooldowns for you, then you're constantly looking down at the buffs to make sure to cast that skill.

Monk Wave of Light has got to be up there.
