May 21, 2008Thasador posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "KaNwaR" »Hey whats up with all the job openings for a "top secret" game on blizzard website? Some of them say next-gen MMO. What about the other ones? Diablo 3 perhaps? If they are still looking for people to work on Diablo 3, then it probably wont come out for another couple of years....
http://www.blizzard.com/us/jobopp/:confused:
This is really old news KaNwaR. There has been several threads and discussions about the "Top Secret" job openings on Blizzard's website.
Quote from "TeHAJ" »please some 1 hack blizzards servers and find out whats going on!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! iam so fucking sick of waiting on this ,as far as we know, non existent game
lol, of course it is a non existent game. It has been for me since i became a member here. But having hope and patience is what's needed.
Quote from "Atrumentis" »haha, thats what I was just thinking. I'm so sick of speculating, its time for answers!
Please dont bring out the battering ram again Atrumentis
Quote from "TeHAJ" »does ne one have any hacking skills?
Hacking into a dedicated private server the Activision-Blizzard are probably using is almost intirely impossible. Not to mention to even touch a station, you would need an employee's NT name and private password. Remote access passage requires their specified IP's for remote capabilites and to add on top of it all, a digital access badge is required to even get pass their firewalls and log-in for their dedicated private server.
If Activision-Blizzard is simular to HP, then that is the troubles right there. I would rather take my chances and try to win the lottery then finding the hardware and information to even smell their information. -

I dont think in all 4 servers that only 52,000 people were playing d2 lod.Quote from "LarryNC" »I was on today: 52,000 people playing total on diablo 2.. that is kind of sad since they sold like 10 million copies lol.. diablo 1 had a grand total of 200 people playing also, which is kind of cool in a weird way -

Yes indeed. Something us Veterans here at formerly known diablo3.com, know too much well of.Quote from "AcidReign" »But goodguy is trying to say that don't get too much hope, because he, as well as the others around here, are used to disappointment. It's just hard to believe any Diablo game annoucement is in the future, do to the lack of attention Blizzard has given the franchise in the last 4-5 years. Could 2008 be the year? Could Blizzard's WWI or BlizzCon bring an annoucement? It sure seems like it, but we've been fooled in the past - and with the very same circumstances that we are looking at today.
Yes two events is promising for a new release...but like AcidReign explained...Diablo franchise has been neglected. To the point were a ladder reset was too much work for Blizzard.Quote from "Festerfaust" »Two events in the one year. Well to me that seems a bit excessive if they are only planning on showing us some more SC2 and WotLK stuff.
Especially since they are already keeping in touch with the community regarding SC2's development with their weekly Q&A's.
And they have just released an bunch of new WotLK info such as the flying mount combat, and info about obtaining a Death Knight and how his rune system works.
I think they have something else to show us, something major. I can only hope that it is indeed D3 and not a new IP. I would like to see what else they can pull out of their hat, but not at the cost of D3. -
May 14, 2008Thasador posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedWhy would a big company such as ActivisionBlizzard would want to waste time and money doing so?Posted in: News

May 14, 2008Thasador posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedRemember awhile back when I said that a franchise would win the majority of gamers hearts and increase a large amount of revenue if they released several games at one time compared to just one at a time?Posted in: News

Ferret gets 10 dollars from his truely...Quote from "Ferret" »Considering how many people know people that know employees, I'm wondering how big Blizzard's workforce really is
I'm really interested in Blizz' supposed next-gen MMO anyway at the moment, it seems that a WoW2 is very unlikely, based on how much of the Warcraft lore is already embedded in one of their MMOs. Wouldn't make much sense to have another MMO use the same boundaries when the original is still going strong. SC and Diablo both have some stuff to cover, especially for Diablo if Blizz wants to tie the books and the games together to reveal how the nephalem rediscovered their talents again after "The Veiled Prophet" ending.
Blizzard has something cooking, I doubt they would schedule two events in one year with no new content to add to their company.
Yeah, with two events and recent erm...changes here, something is definitly in the works and is going to be shown at WWI. -

May 13, 2008Thasador posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedOne thing for sure, something is getting announced. A scheduled WWI and Blizzcon = New Release.Posted in: News
1. SC2 has already been announced, so it is not anything to do with Starcraft franchise
2. Lich King has already been announced, so it is not anything to do with Warcraft franchise
3. Diablo is still mentioned in Vivendi, Activision-Blizzard, and press released information
4. 2001 was the release date of Lord of Destruction, so 7 years is a good number to hope for a new sequel. -

This might be some bad news.......
Hydra is not considered as possible Diablo 3. What if the announcement is "Project Hydra"? I have a 95% influence saying it is diablo 3 that is going to be released due to all of the activity...but wiki seperated unknown (possible diablo 3) and hydra. -

Ok that is one person out of this entire website who thinks that there is no announcement of diablo III, anyone else? If there was no d3 announcement, then why would bliz be too concerned about grabbing all the diablo 3 related domains, why would they continue to include diablo in all newsletter statements, why? Such negativity...your wasting your time here, no one will listen to you, especially here.Quote from "okok9" »No.. there wont be any d3 announcement!..Why?? Because there will be no extra time for such announcement..The people in there definately will be not satisfied with short announcement.. meh - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

The Witch Doctor may not be able to replace the awesome necromancer this is true. I feel your sentiments.
Well Diablo II was a big hit and that only came out with 5 characters
Flaws? what flaws? New graphics, new characters and skills, semi-destructible backgrounds, better skill management and usage...what flaws?
Amen brother
