A little bit expensive, but considering the amount of value I got out of LOD I see it as a less painful form of DLC. You could buy 20 DLC packs from other games and not get the same amount of value you will get from one D3 expansion, plus support and development will still continue long after. There are more deserving companies that need your hatred.

Sep 10, 2012hifiboi posted a message on Interview with AlkaizerEnjoyment levels start to drop after about 4 hours for me with Diablo. When a game is new and I have some spare time, I can go quite a lot longer, but regularly spending 14 hours plus on a game is a bit sad. I love gaming, but when it gets to that level there are definitely more rewarding things to dedicate your time to.Posted in: News
I know people enjoy it, but I don't believe thhey are buzzing after 10 hours, it just becomes mindless and a way of wasting time.
The achievement is impressive none the less. -
Sep 10, 2012hifiboi posted a message on Interview with AlkaizerAlthough a cool achievement, I would be interested as to what this guy does for a living and how he keeps a roof over his head. That's really what I wanted to know from the interview. It would also be interesting to see if he can fund himself purely via the RMAH. Going to work 5 days a week/boxing/flesh friends and having a girlfriend (read: life) kind of restricts my 18 hour playing sessions.Posted in: News

Dude, he's just excited about getting a new computer, give him a break.
Hey, everyone let's pull him down on a web forum. I never understood the gratification in that?

I don't have a desktop, I only have an old laptop. I've been abroad for almost 4 years in various countries, so it's no feasible to have a good desktop. I want a laptop that will fulfil all my needs, including high end gaming, I want to invest my money in something that will last me at least a long time without having to upgrade. I have around £1500 to spend ($2000+) so I want something good. What would you recommend if you had that to spend on a laptop?

I appretiate the offer, and excuse my ignorance, but is it possible to build a gaming laptop easily? I live in Japan at the moment so it's out of the question to not buy something portable. I know of other gaming laptops, but this one seems to fill all the criteria for me, even though I'm aware I'm going to have to pay a premium.

I have a tendancy to overestimate Blizzard's supprises, when will I learn?

I believe the Ivy Bridge processor will be released soon? Any of you guys keep up to date on that kind of stuff? Have any of you any idea when The 17x R4 will be released? I kind of hope D3 and the R4 will be released around the same time.

With this logic, the hireling should mimic playing with another human to some extent. Sharing exp as you would with a human co-operative player. This may be wrong, but I thought Blizzard were really trying to beef up the hireling to something with more character and impact than D2.
This is great for me as I prefer the pacing of playing solo, you tend to find in multiplayer everyone is rushing around rather than enjoying the atmosphere of the game. However, it's impossible to deny the increased killing power of the human controlled player. The beefed up hireling will give me that extra help that a D2 hireling did not, I hope.
