We've already dealt with that in several posts throughout this thread. It does not in any way guarantee that SC2 is not announced.Quote fromDude didnt you read the statement that Blizzard made??
They said, they do plan to revisit SC universe in some point in the future, but they dont have anything new to announce dealing with SC at present. Its an implication that it will not be SC related. DUh, people dont seem to see what Blizzard is saying in that statement.

Exacly.Quote from "Millitia" »he said Regard at present, meaning he will lose his job if he mentions it. that statement would only make me think its going to be starcraft.
I highly doubt that they will be announcing two titles though. The only thing that will do is divide people's currently undivided attention away from the focus of things. One game now, then wait a few months, then the next one at Blizzcon/E3. That's what I'm thinking. -

It can be D3 alright, but the chances for something SC-related are much larger in m opinion, because it is Korea. It doesn't make sense that they would announce D3, which has had most success in America and Europe, in Korea, and it doesn't make sense that they would announce SC at Blizzcon, which has had most success in Korea.Quote from "Num3n" »WHY CANT IT BE D3!!????
starcraft is good and all, but i want d3 soooo badly -

This should prove interesting. If this is right then tons and tons of my arguemnts on this site will have been completely wrong.Quote from "PlasticComplex" »April 27, 2007 - Blizzard has updated its job listings with several positions that will be working on a next-gen massively multiplayer online game (MMO). The publisher/developer is seeking a Lead Engine Programmer, Lead Tools Programmer, and a Lead Technical Artist. Begin speculation…now.
I'm still going for Starcraft. It does appear that Blizzard is hinting at something besides a SC2, but if this announcement is within three weeks, you're not going to go out now and say: "Yeah you're right, it's SC2. We're just letting you know now to ruin the surprise."
And once again, it's in Korea. There'll be riots if it's anything but Starcraft -
Apr 27, 2007PhrozenDragon posted a message on Blizzard Confirms New Product Next Month! This can leave close to no doubt. We're talking about Korea here, the nation that airs Starcraft matches on TV. If Starcraft 2 is not the game announced at the worldwide invitational, I will be very surpised.Posted in: News
Right now I just hope another product announcement will come at Blizzcon too. -

Given what we usually digest in the form of rumors here, you'll have to do better than that to convince usQuote from "thijscream" »my mate just played d3 few days ago he told me(the beta) till lvl 10 he works @ a game shop in Tilburg (holland) he told me yesterday the game will appear in 8 moths and will be better then wow and will have more ppl playing it..

First, a hack&slach can probably still sell. As stated, there are diablo clones out there, and they're selling, so D3 should thus also have a market.
Second, D3 will not be an MMO if it is released within WoW's timeframe. Profit is not a simple equation of Pay to play=more money. It doesn't work that simply. If Blizzard was to release a second MMO, they would be competing with themselves, as many WoW players are also Diablo fans, and very few people play two MMO's at the same time.
Furthermore, new customers will most definately not play two at the same time, so they would just be split between the two titles instead of flocking only to WoW.
Now, my explanation is also simplified, but it shows a better picture of the situation. -

Would you say that this indicates an MMORPG or simply a B.net style game? -

and many are goldfarmers (fact).
Yes, but how many are "many"? If many implies more then 50%, then no it's not a fact.
atleast a couple 100.000 are known and many of em are banned
This may have been an exception, I don't know, but usuallly when they ban people it includes everything, from hacking to gold buying and selling.
i hate seeing noobs running around in topnotch equipment.
Happens in Diablo, and it happens in WoW as well, though hopefully the smaller dungeon groups remedied this in TBC. -

I really like this concept. Unfortunately I don't think it's a turn that the story will take even though the basic idea is well supported by the grand cosmological structure in the Diablo universe of Heaven and Hell. It's seems rather unlikely due to Trag'Oul's rather cryptical statements that Heaven and Hell aren't the masters they think they are, thus removing them from the center of the cosmological structure and instead simply making them powerful entities among others.

I finally got a DS last week and this game and finished it after playing it almost straight for three days with no guide or nothing. All in all, I agree with what has been said.
I was afraid about the graphics at first, but the 3D grew on me. And the summons and unleashes are just as over the top as always. In GS1&2, Boreas was a snow machine. in GS3, Boreas is a huge unicorn train that SMASHES A MOUNTAIN before sending a showwave of ice across the ENTIRE WORLD. HELL YEAH!
Bosses are way too easy. The scouts with the psy grenades were close, but everything else was cakewalk. Compare that to the gruesome Saturos/Menardi/Fusion Dragon at character lvl 27 in the original. Or Dullahan in GS2.
I like the cutscenes and dialog though, after all it is a staple of the series
Story is nice. Yeah there are lost of new ruins everywhere, but unlike with Diablo I'm not as concerned. Though I'm not sure I like the flying spaceship we're bound to see in the next game.
Music is bad. Or rather, it's ok, but nothing compared to the old games. Best track was the remix of the Saturos battle theme from GS1, go figure.
And lastly, why the f*ck can't I backtrack?!?!??! Fortunately I had a save before Belinsk, but that's 10 hours of lost playtime if I want all the djinn. After I've that I'll take a swing at the extra bosses, although it seems even Dullahan has been watered down
Overall a satisfying experience, but not as much as I'd expected.

Some people have special titles. These have been acquired in several ways:

For instance, you could be looking for swords in the 35-40 level range that had the prefix "Dragon's", and taht would then perhaps return fifty results of "Dragon's Bastard Sword" or "Dragon's Longsword" etc.

Even so, as stated above, it doesn't really matter if there's a ton of shit on the AH, as long as the system is designed with that in mind. From a pure buyer's perspective, the interface will play a big part here and should allows you to sort through all current auctions well enough. I imagine there will be several options here: similar to WoW it seems reasonable you will be able to search for auctions by names, item type and level range.
However, I can also see several new parameters being introduced. Perhaps we'll be able to search for items with a specific prefix? Perhaps we can add certain modifiers we want to appear on our item.
That is, if the AH looks much like it does in WoW, which I'm not entirely convinced it will, I'm certain there will be a streamlined trading fuction implemented, but if Blizzard does something other than a pure AH we shall have to wait and see.

Ferret's Trapsin by Ferr3t could also be of use to you. It uses Fire Blast instead of Wake of Inferno since it provides a much greater damage potential.
Similar to your build, but opts for Heart of Wolverine rather than Oak Sage. Very extensive and detailed guide.
This build unlike the other ones I have experience with. I'd recommend screwing the mages and using a Clay Golem. The skeletons suck if they're at level 20 in Hell yes, but the goal is to get as much +summoning as possible. Golems do despicable damage, so clay is good due to the slow effect that works wonders on bosses and helps your skeletons stay alive.
Perhaps this can be of help: Bowzon by Muroidea.
I think it's kind of fun actually, but yes that is basically it unless they're physical immune. Here's another guide for you: Frenzy Barb by Rousse
I've never tried this out, but it sounds kind of interesting: Angelic Avenger by Saltatrix
Otherwise a good old Zealer is never wrong.
