The easiest way to weave multiple generators once aps get's crazy is going to be by the use of a macro. You will lose all feeling in your fingers from how fast you will have to be clicking. Posted a thread of me doing just that, more info inside: http://www.diablofan...uild-is-viable/
It also stems back farther to " combination strike" in the monk forums for lots of info on it =P

posted a message on Why I think a 3 generator build is viable
    Quote from nttdemented

Furthermore, to add to this subject, what is everyone's theory regarding the mechanics of Combination Strike? Does it just add 8% dps for 3 seconds and each hit refreshes the timer or does it stack over each hit and each stack lasts 3 seconds? I'm guessing its the former, the later would be nuts.
With each different generator used it adds 8% damage. So if you used only crippling wave it only gives you 8%. If you use deadly reach twice then finish with crippling wave it adds 16%

There was a thread I was involved in a while back where we were asking Blizzard if the GUI could be configured so that we could stack generators in the order we wanted, e.g. strike 1 from skill 1, strike 2 from skill 2, strike 3 from skill 3, for example. It just wasn't practical to make this a part of the game interface itself, however with mouse macros it seems entirely possible to achieve this!

My only concern, taking a step back, is that I think overall the build is inefficient because you require too many skill slots with not enough left over for utility:

    - The build lacks mobility
    - The build lacks the ability to dump fury into higher damage skills (SSS has a high CD)
    - The build lacks hard cc and escapes

All of these things are because you have 3 slots and a passive taken up with things you need to make the build work :)

    Overall very interesting though.
With 3 generators you have to be crazy not to take combination strike . With that you don't need a large damaging spirit spender, your generators do more then enough for that. So that leave your last few skills with some survivability , so you could put in a mobility skill a CC and an some extra defence skill. If your not careful tho your skill and passives are sucked up and your build may not work.

I asked my dentist one really odd question. What does an oral surgeon/orthodontist do if they get one of those patients that have the weird no-pain-nerve thing or if they get somebody who gets off on some of the greatest pain, so painful that instead of lying there screaming about a severed leg, they're really yanking on that worm, yelling some really dirty sexual things while doing so. What the hell would they do?
be the killjoy and give them Novocain , unless they are resistant to it ( I am ... damn...)

Oh man. Fuck that guy's life. I do not want to have to be the guy to clean that up.

Come on, it was clearly a woman driving...OOOOOOOOOOOOO I went there.
Who ever is at the bottom of that... hope there alive.

They're alive, read the story about it once, the messed up thing is that thats some kind of alcohol warehouse, vodka maybe I don't remember.
If it is vodka or something like that is it sad to think of some guy at the bottom drunk after being mauled by boxes upon boxes of vodka spilling everywhere?
Or that no one would believe his story because he smelled of booze.

Iv got the diablo mouse and I tryed using a 3 generator build in the beta to see just how well my plan will work once the game is out. I have to say Im very pleased. you don't really even need a macro.

When I got my wisdom teeth out ( all 4 at once, because Im just that lucky) I went in early in the morning at about 9:00. I remember regaining consciousness at like 5. I then got a drink, then back out till the next day. After that I felt fine. A friend of mine got theres wisdom teeth out and that night was at a heavy metal show. So it all depends on how things go. I would not be to worried about it tho. By the 15th morning you'll be well rested and have nothing better to do.

P.S. pop is a bad idea. It will get in your wounds and sting like you would not believe.

When I was watching my girlfriend play a demon hunter and seeing her literally shoot the head off of a zombies body , with the head spinning like a coin. To punch a zombie and have its bloody skeleton fly out .

    I say no
My thoughts exactly. I think that it does not look childish. But alas that is my opinion .

BoH DOES indeed scale. However... a potion STILL heals more.

BoH may not heal as much. However its far more useable. Theres the circle of life rune that gives it more healing. Not to mention its a AoE heal. So you and your friends get it too. If it was as strong or stronger then a potion it would easily be considered OP. ( the skill looks kinda cool too)

To me it's the exact opposite, I think his skills looks awesome. Fists of Thunder might not have the same "physics" impact as Bash but it's still awesome looking. Deadly Reach is another sick looking skill, the sound makes it feel like you're actually blasting through the air. Dat knockback on Lashing Tail Knick =]
Not to mention how good skills like 7SS and crippling wave.
