As long as they don't pricetag skins for 10 dollars or more, I am ok with cosmetic mtx. They should just not be expensive and not be the only way to obtain.

Because the other players were well geared and boosting you in a rift level far beyond your own capabilities.

For a lot of players , their seasonal characters are now very well geared and can carry a non contributing character through very high level rifts, if you dont have the gear yourself even a skeleton will one-shot you and if youre low on Paragon levels a high GR will contain enough experience to boost by far more than just 100 or so.

Judging by the post, Id suggest sending a whisper thanking them for the boost as it seems you didnt realise that was what they were doing :)

This is the answer for you, all said there.

Was this PC or console? If console, they may have been cheating

Not at all, just look the post I quoted above, this works for consoles aswell and does not need any cheats. If you look the other way around, this is also cheating, by boosting someone above what you can do.

idk since diablo immortal im pretty sure they just wanna rush d4 because they are greedy and want more money, but honestly i hope it will be bad so blizzard is ruined and we can see them falling apart.

I don't want a new Diablo game to be bad, tbh.

I want Blizzard to get off Activision and try to be the company they were. I know, probably never happening...but one can hope.

posted a message on playing on 2 PS4 back and forth character transfer

    Hi,

Just to clarify your situation: you have 2 PS4's, and both have the same account? So if you have the same account, and your save is being uploaded to the cloud, technically it should work fine. (I have 2 PS4's too, so I understand your question)

The automatic save doesn't always save the last state, so you need to upload it manually when exiting the game, go to Settings and upload it to your cloud.

When you log in to your other PS4, it should work.

    Best regards

Did you even read what I wrote ?

I just said that microtransactios is the path Activision Blizzard will take because that's where the money is. That is why they outsourced their IP to a shitty chinese company very well known for it's ripoffs P2W games.

Why the frack are they going to be vocal to the community now ? Just to get more backlash ?

Yes I did read it, and I just argumented with a fact to the stock price. It will calm down, for sure, as MTX are an ongoing trend, but the trend will have some serious problems, while here in EU, MTX will probably be forbidden. EU market gone, more stock drops.

    Nothing strange at all...

Activision Blizzard made $4 billion in 2017 with microtransactions only.

Diablo franchise that we knew and loved is dead because it's not as profitable.

Thats why the stocks are dropping non stop? Almost 50% compared to 2017, we are near 2019, I wouldn't compare with profits 2 years ago. Morhaime sold shares and the Director too (can't remember the name though). New job postings popping up (over 20) for unannounced Diablo project. No communication at all.

    Want more?

    Hi everyone,

I have a question for the community and hope to see your opinion on this topic.

I kind of have a strange feeling, that after BlizzCon and all the fiasco with other AAA titles and controversies (EA, Bethesda etc). Heroes going, 100+ Blizzard employees leaving...

The quiet, that is right now is somehow very strange to me and wonder if this is a good or bad sign.

    What are your thoughts?

No point to make d4 if it would least for 4-5+ years, old veterans will forget about diablo francise due to d3 epic fail, new audience dont care about francise and Arpg, also for 5 years could be new gaming era.

Maybe never, what is the point to make games for pc if mobile target is dumber and accept p2w, pruduction is a lot cheaper, risk is minimal, profit is a lot bigger than pc.

Mobile is the future, they know that.

I don't know about that. There are laws in Belgium right now that forbids MTX, so if other countries are going the same route, mobile gaming will become just a thing that was. Sure, easy money is made with little efforts, but I wouldn't say its the future. D4 will come, and ARPGs are still a thing, look at all the ARPGs that are still in development right now.

Has it changed recently? I recall the MTX they forbade were Loot Boxes as they represent gambling. That's different from selling things like cosmetics or even Pay 2 Win items or just cooldown reduction items. Are those other things illegal now too? Plenty of room for MTX without the gambling aspect, tho how that fits into the Diablo model is interesting as Diablo is essentially a loot slot machine game.

That having been said, I wouldn't say "Mobile Is the Future" per se. I would say "Mobile is Part of the Future." Yes the market is growing considerably right now but there's a point at which it will be fully saturated. Another point to consider is the longevity of Mobile Games. How long do they last versus PC/Console titles?

The logical conclusion is to incorporate the continued revenue streams of revenue games into PC/Console games, as we've seen happen with many franchises. They tried and failed to do this in D3 with the RMAH. I think *that* is the inevitable fate of gaming unless something else comes along. But just look at D3 in its current state. They could easily incorporate micro transactions into the current game. Imagine, you really like the current Season's Wings/Pet/Transmog but don't have time or don't want to commit the time to earn it. Pay $10 and get the skins. Things like that, I think, are the future of Diablo.

You have a good point though. With the Belgium law, that is, at this point, loot boxes are becoming one thing and they are investigating further of how "loot boxes" in general so aka MTX are working and how minors have access to it. So most likely they will throw everything in one bucket as to where loot boxes are similar to MTX. You buy something and you get something. One may argue with cosmetics, but 5 dollars for a simple pair of digital sunglasses is something to consider with gambling, because its non existant and too expensive with very little effort, so 6 pairs of these is the price for Battlefield V right now...you see?

I really don't understand why they're not transparent at all. Why in the mighty Hell are they treating this so secretly. It would help them and the newest incarnation of Diablo if they would share inside thoughts and COMMUNICATE with the community to help build a game that would actually be played by the community. If they do this, no wonder they cancel everything after 2 years in developement and cry about failures. (TITAN)

Because they are still arogant ah's, they know better what is fun, "you think you do, but you dont", "then we doubled it", "dont you guys have phones!?" ect

They were always arogant, even in Starcraft, Diablo 2 golden times, WoW big success changed their egos to cosmic states.

    So, so, sad..
