No, not the same time, as they said clearly that the Necro comes in HALF-ISH 2017, and the Darkening of Tristram will start in January 2017, with Patch 2.4.3.

Other features will come throughout the year 2017.

I like the idea of having all the followers around me, buffing me a bit more. What if they would introduce a new follower? What if there would be more specific items for followers themselves. There is a need for offhand items for followers. Like a unique quiver for the scoundrel?

I really like this idea.

With the character Packs: Yes I do believe they will make more, even Map Packs or whole Acts to buy, and after a while they will announce the Ultimate Pack for Diablo 3 where you can buy all at once in one big Pack with extras in it.

What habe they done the last two years? A new class that will not be available until late 2017, and a retro-ish Diablo 1 Dungeon that is only available for one month a year? And then there are seasons coming to the highly cheat-heavy consoles. The Armory and mats Organizer looks good though, but really? Two years of nothing to get this? Tbh, this is strange...they have something hidden...

There will be a Dev Talk today, so maybe we will hear more about upcoming content and the future of D3. I hope they are aware of the Paragon Grinding problems, so that there will be a major patch coming next year with the release of the Necromancer Character Pack. This sounds like they are going to make more Character Packs or even Map Packs or Acts to buy. If this is the way they are going, I'm all in.

With that event: yes for now this is a anniversary Patch for the month of January, they plan to make more Events like this. So we will see...

Yeah, maybe the DLC is a good idea. With a new character or even a new act for some money, they could make this. Very welcome though. They need to announce more details today, what they want to do for the future of D3, if this Model is going to happen or not.

The announcement of the Necro class got me excited just to know that this class may only be available in the half of 2017? Ok, chill, there is this 16 stages Diablo 1 Dungeon, cool..wait what? In retro-look? Oh come on! Ok, we still have this Build Organizer and mats Organizer, right? Thats something, right?

Nah, with all this new stuff, patch 2.4.3 thingy, I am disappointed, all the hype with BlizzCon will be really cool this year for Diablo and vopes for at least a 2.5 were so high, that not even this is a reality. Its not that I do not like the stuff they announced, but this is not what I expected in so many ways possible. With all the hype about a D4, expansion 2 or D2HD, my guess was at least a major 2.5 Patch, but hey, now we get seasons on consoles..yay

I do understand the fact that you are trying to make us understand, by telling that D3 is lost in so many ways, that the only competitive factors will be a complete reboot or new game in the franchise, but I, as many others believe, could very well an expansion or a big patch make the game better and can compete with those other games mentioned. An graphic overhaul is indeed makeable, as shown so often in WoW expansions and patches, so why not for D3?

About the Necro class leaked: it could be something related to D3, as John Mueller is the new Art Director for Diablo related stuff. It also looks very similar to the tone of the new website related to RoS. What is intrigues me more though, is the 2 hours stage time of the so called lightning talk added to the schedule of the BlizzCon for Diablo. These are not live video feed, so maybe there is something going on after BlizzCon. The PTR is still online, so I can imagine some major patch coming for season 9.
