posted a message on Primals not dropping for me, is anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry but i don't know why these post exist. You guys do know what RNG is? A Random Number Generator is like playing bingo. With a 1% drop rate this means there are 99 Zeros and 1 One in the binary code. 1% = the chance you'll get something. This means you have a chance to get nothing but Zeroes when that 0.01 coefficient hits. This does NOT mean let 100 legendaries drop or craft 100 legendaries and you are guaranteed 1 Primal.

The only way to Increased your odds is to play more, do higher level GRs (70+), or spam Hope of Cain.

why would u run max vit instead of int? since ur spells cost % life u also lose more

That's all about getting more thorns damage with the Heart of Iron in the cube ('Gain Thorns equal to 300% of your Vitality').
This was debunked in season 5 bro. You only gain 10% total increased dmg. Thorns scales off main stat first and foremost. The means the 300% is a mere fraction of the main stat multiplier. Why do you think for LoN bomb or Invokers people either go Rubies or diamonds. Its either raw DPS or damage mitigation.

If you have multiple seasonal characters, do you have only 1 armory, or 1 armory for each character?

It is 1 armory per character slot.

Why would it be global when its impossible for a Barb to equip a bow. And Why does it matter if its seasonal? You can have 2 seasonal characters. 13 non seasonal. It is not global. I honestly don't know why you just didnt hop into LIVE servers and just test it. those builds NOT perma saved. you can override it.

Sorry but logic got thrown out the window once this was posted.

posted a message on We need reroll primal recipe for kanai cube
    Quote from Bagstone»

    1) Whenever I get an ancient (and especially a primal), I take a loooooooooooooooot of time before touching it. Re-rolls are permanent. Usually I sleep over it for a night before I do anything. I asked a million times on Discord yesterday before re-rolling my primal Starfire (int, attack speed, vit => re-rolled vit) if anyone could envision any situation in which rolling off the vit might be a wrong move (i.e., would you ever want a Starfire without int or attack speed). Sorry to say but this is 100% your fault for not doing the proper research before re-rolling.

    2) Every account has one (or three, not sure) free "rollbacks". I'm not sure how you can trigger such a rollback; usually this is meant for people whose account got hacked and all gear deleted, so they can get it back. It was the source of many duped items before trading was disabled, and is still being abused by many exploiters. The problem is that you can't determine the exact point to which you're rolled back (it might be yesterday, it might be last week) and if you rolled your bow right away, it's basically useless. I also don't know how to request such a rollback and if it's easily being granted. But it might be your only choice (though it might be useless if you re-rolled your bow right away).

In any case, I think you've learned your lesson (and hopefully everyone else in this thread as well): THINK TWICE before re-rolling. Sleep over it for a night.

P.S.: Yang's is also nice for a Marauder MS build, right? (I'm no DH expert.) I'd play that build from now on then. Although I agree that UE MS is a super fun build. But really, the first thing every DH (even me as DH noob) checks if bow/quiver/chest has discipline.

actually ideally, you dont really want any main stat on a weapon, just like your gloves and jewelery.

For the lightning archon builds, ideally you want %damage, IAS, CDR. Basically vit and int is pointless. Especially if you can get it from paragon and augs. Yea you can argue 1000 main stat = 10% more dmg. but getting raw multipliers on gear is even more valuable. Hence why ideally you roll off the mainstat on rings and amulets.

    Quote from Reborndiablo

    Hello guys,

I just found my second primal. and it was a fricking Yang recurve! But it was useless. I did not notice there was no 12 discipline on it.....

But I rerolled the vit to attack speed..... Regretting it after. Now I don't have the chance te redeem myself. cause I'll neve get one again.

So Blizzard, Please give us a Kanai cube recipe te reroll primal only if they are already primal. But make it very expensive. Like 100 bounty mats each! 200DB and 200Souls. so we can redeem mistakes we make at a prize.... (sad Face)

    cheers

yea, like everyone says....this is your fault.

Diablo3 is already a spoon feed game. And you want to make it even easier. Look META shifts. You might want to keep that Primal Yang's with no discipline. Now if you are a purely season player, well salvage it for 15 FS and move on.

You seem to forget what a Primal Ancient is. It is a perfectly rolled Ancient item. this means there is a chance that you'll get a perfectly rolled ancient Yang's without it being Primal. Primal will be any where from 0-10% upgrade. 0% = your piece is already perfect. 10% = your piece was a bottom feeder, but you still equip it because you had nothing better.

posted a message on Necro skills

We have an affix on item that says "Your X spells deal Y% more damage", with X being the damage type, i.e. Fire, Physical, Poison, etc.

If you look on spell runes, some have a little adnotation that says "Damage of Y Spell changes to X", with X being the very same damage type as above.

We have CoE which cycles through damage types.

^This is exactly what the information about Necro "poison skills" refers to, not a general theme of an ability/rune.

To make things easier to understand, if we had like a simple Fireball spell, it's theme would obviously be Fire, but for gameplay reasons they could set the damage type to whatever they liked, for example Cold. Now, a Fireball that would look like fire, but deal cold damage wouldn't make much sense, but the difference between Poison damage type and Blight/Decay theme is small enough to put them on the same spell. And that's what Blizzard is doing.

This is some blind assumptions. Just watch Bloodshed's interview with Blizzard devs.

You do know this is the dev team from D3 who apparently takes 1 year on average to give what the community wants.
How are you certain the devs wont up and create a new element. Watch Bloodshed's interview. It was pretty much alluding to a new ring dedicated for Necro. Every class has 4 elements but the Necro. So for all we know, the 4th elemental radiation which acts like thorns and poison combined. Blight doesn't equal poison. By your definition alone it mean Rend from barbs should be poison damage. Yet barbs have lightning, fire, physical, and cold damage; No poison. And now lets bring up Firebird ignition. I guess that should also be poison damage by your definition.

Your blind assumptions is as bad as end game META predictions based on the PTR.

You people need to wait for the closed BETA. After that wait for Live purchase.

    :facepalmsign:

why did you even ask this question? each season is 10-12 weeks long. A PTR doesn't dictate the end of a season. The season never ends and a PTR begins. PTR has always and will always be during a season. The only time it has not been the case was prior to seasons and vanilla.

People like angryroleplayer, wudijo, zhangi, Desolacer, bigdaddyden, etc all they do is stop playing on live server for a while to test the new patch on PTR. The season doesn't stop when they start testing.

posted a message on Fastest solo leveling
    Quote from Caikems»

What's the fastest way to solo level these days? It seems like people are max level within an hour of a new season.

the fastest way is to solo it.

open up adventure mode > make sure magda or kulle is a bounty > kill them
Go to FoM and HoA 1-3. level up to 11
Finish all the bounties in act2
back to FoM and HoA for 11-23
Craft Cain's set > go back to FoM and HoA for 23-45 > go back to town and craft a level reduced lv60 item
    FoM and HoA for 45-70

You can also go to Kanai's hunting grounds because you still have to get the cube.

Your goal is to get Massacre Bonuses. The classes that work the best are DoT, ranged, or Pet classes. So DH and WD can achieve this the fastest.

    follow zerocool's guide

    1-70 in 2 hours
    Quote from Metropolis_Man

These threads never cease to amaze me. When 99.9% of a player's time in a season is spent AFTER lvl 70 why are so many players in a rush to just get to 70? Does it make a difference if build A gets there in 2 hours and build B gets there in 4?

because for early game leveling from 1-70 means who will hit the leaderboards first without a bot. 2-4 hours is the average for softcore. 3-5 hours is the average for Hardcore. If it takes you 5-10 hours then you are doing something wrong. because those 5 hours extra you spend is 200 - 400 paragon difference from you and another player.

I had a clan mate who was paragon 200 by the time i hit lvl70. Granted I was playing HC versus his SC, it still makes a difference. Because the first 4 man team can essentially knockout 2 conquest in the game within the first 10-12 hours of launch. Boss mode and sprinter. Also if you already have a cohesive team, then getting on the top and staying there will be easy.

its basically Blatty's Twister archon wiz. Archon does no dmg, its there for mobility, mob aggro, and dmg stacks.

If you don't believe me just youtube his run. it was the later half of season 6.

The only difference you'll see is that with Hydras you don't have to find an inverted corner. but fundamentally, it is exactly the same.

Wow! Just don't get the attraction to the fresh start. This is the 10th season. How many times can you do the same thing over and over again? Seasons offer me nothing now that I have all the stash tabs.

well, I mean you could say the same about nonseason. How often can you do the same thing over and over again (GRifts with the same equip and build)?
What's special about a season start is that you have to deal with what you get. Creating a build is the most fun in these games, at least for me. Once I have this build completed, it stops being fun after a few runs. It's the same in other games like PoE. Leveling and seeing how your build slowly comes together is what's fun. Grinding the endgame maps over and over again is boring af.
Yep exactly. The game as a whole is really stale to me now. But the gameplay is addicting. Hence why most people cant let go of the game.

I really don't want to do SC seasonal anymore as I have most ancient gear piece for all the classes. So What i decided was Crusader, WD, and DH will be played in pure HC. Wiz, Barb and monk SC only. This gives me only 2 options of DH and WD season 10 because in season 9 I played HC crusader. Or I decide to go SC barb and focus on making a Primal ancient zbarb (for the shits and giggles).

Due to the being forced to do set dungeons stipulation that Blizzard gave us. I might even just stop after finishing CH4. I finally completed all 24 set dungeons to get the green angel wings. I don't like the mastery wings, so I didn't master the dungeons. Its not worth doing them again. As for the portrait frame. Ehh its nice, but it doesn't look as nice as the guardian season 8 frame or even the season 3 frame.

Yep, cuz the difference is there but not major. It can be any where from a 5% - 10% dps increase. This is under the assumption you don't have a perfectly rolled ancient.

But PA are actually amazing on a zmonk and LoN bomb. Think on nearly all gear you have a perfect globe bonus and perfect 9500 thorns. It's actually a stat boost for specific builds just not game breaking

dude with in 1 month on every single CoD game, there has been an Aim bot hack pack out for console.

That fact alone proves how non pure it can get.

with in 1 week of borderlands 2 launch, a whole bunch of exploits came out and nothing was patched.

There is no pure / perfect version for any video game out there. I don't know why its so hard for that guy to understand.

What is stopping a player from modding their controller to run a specific loop. Nothing. If you can run rapid fire and auto quick scope on a PS4 / xb1 controller and im sure some smartass will create a Bot controller.

But seasons on console will have no duping, no modding and no botting hence why it will be purer than PC.

I am super doubtful about that. A utopian society it won't be.

Explain how then...PC has no duping or modding because of online saves, well season 10 on consoles is going online saves...PC can bot...console cannot...hence why it will be purer, you won't be able to cheat unless there are other glitches...which there are not at present.
because the game is build from the group up and not a port bro. Its simple as that. I highly doubt there will be no exploit in the game. There is even a higher chance for there to be dupping because it isn't a direct port visually it looks the same, but mechanically there are attributes that make it entirely different.

    No glitches at the present...

And guess what else isn't at the present Season 10 or even seasons for consoles in that regard. you don't know. You blindly assume that console = perfection. But there are chances that it isn't. once seasons gets launched its your problem not Blizzards. Blizzard Diablo team is a graveyard team. And their top priority will always be fixing issues with PC first. Heck Josh Moscara isn't even part of D3 anymore, hes on WoW.

I highly doubt consoles seasons are the purest form.
