I had gotten several on the PTR (yeah I know) and I've gotten 3 in season 10 live play. So yeah I got some extra souls which probably really did make a difference in crafting a decent hellfire ammy. World keeps spinnin'.
why would u run max vit instead of int? since ur spells cost % life u also lose more
That's all about getting more thorns damage with the Heart of Iron in the cube ('Gain Thorns equal to 300% of your Vitality').
This was debunked in season 5 bro. You only gain 10% total increased dmg. Thorns scales off main stat first and foremost. The means the 300% is a mere fraction of the main stat multiplier. Why do you think for LoN bomb or Invokers people either go Rubies or diamonds. Its either raw DPS or damage mitigation.
Just answering the question... not stating my life's philosophy or anything. Haha. That's why the original poster is (most likely) maxing his vit.
Leveling up I was spamming Death Nova with the wildebeest gem and the passive where you spend life instead of essence. My gpu sounded like a helicopter about to take off but it was fun. Beta servers seem to be offline atm.
So the necro beta test is live.
It looks like necromancers have physical, poison, and cold... and the COE (on the beta test) is cycling through those 3 elements.
Of course it's a beta- I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a 4th (new) element for them... blood power or something.
Edit: I haven't kept up with what Blizz has said about the necromancer. I leveled one up and have played it a bit and I've done a few challenge rifts. So far it's fun to play, but we will get a better feel for it as they start to roll out class-specific items.
As long as the shared gems/items are in your general stash... the armory will find and equip them.
I usually just throw the jewelry (with the shared legendary gems) in an empty stash spot, switch over to another character and then 'equip' whatever build and the armory profile pulls the gems out of the jewelry in the stash. As long as the gear doesn't change then it won't mess you up when you re-'equip' the build again.
I'm running 5 different builds on my DH and sharing gems between them and the other classes of characters I run (doing 'years of war' conquest).
As long as you are keeping the armory profiles up to date (save it when you change, reroll, or augment gear) your gear will be there.
The bugs with the gems getting kicked out of jewelry/weapons seem to be getting fixed one by one and are happening (to me) much less frequently.
And as far as showing someone a specific build, would agree to refer them to a build here or on d3planner, etc. They can see whatever your top build on the leaderboard is and your current equipped build and that's about it. GL.
It *would* be nice to be able to "reset" a legendary to the original (unaltered) stats. Primal or no.
I saw a screenshot of a primal Yangs the other day and that was my impression- why would a perfect Yangs roll without discipline?
Even so, the Marauder MS build (using Yangs) might be fun for you (I've had fun messing around with it this season) so maybe not a total loss.
We (my party) got 2 gob packs last night on the same level of a rift and one opened a vault portal and there were double goblins there.
I thought it was just some new thing- a "chance to get double gobs" or something, but haven't kept up with S10 news enough to know if that was something new/real or not. Maybe just another random bug- like so many others in this patch (?).
Goblins do not open the vault inside a rift, Blizz never implemented that bc they did not want an instance inside an instance.....
I could have sworn it was inside the rift, but I'm sure you're right and that I remembered that wrong. We were doing a lot of rifts and a lot of bounties and it all sort of blends together after a while... Didn't really have anything to contribute except to say "oh yeah that happened to me too". At any rate, they were both nice events and things like that have been few and far between for me.

I have a ZDPS Monk that has been into Level 60-ish rifts, but wasn't sure if we needed to do them solo or not.
My wife had made a DPS Monk, so I think we will have to work together to get into the higher ones then?
No you don't have to do Greater Rifts solo (to unlock higher levels or otherwise)- in fact D3 is really set up to reward you exponentially more if you run in a group than the meager rewards you get playing solo. Join a clan, run with the wife, etc.
Also, when you are opening a GRift at the Nephalim Obelisk in town notice that the Greater Rift levels will have the Torment level in parenthesis after the GRift level... eg. Grift "level 45 (Torment 10)" , "level 50 (Torment 11)", and so on. (pretty sure that looks the same whether you are playing on PC or console) If you still have some general questions about Greater Rifts or anything in D3 check youtube. Sometimes a 2 minute video can explain something a lot better than trying to explain things in a few paragraphs of type. GL.
I would also love to see the brawling area expanded to include a training-type area. Would especially be useful for testing on Hardcore allow testing past T13 (yeah they already have the code built from the old GRift keys... arena) without risking death every time an item in the build is changed. Each wave could display the estimated GRift/Torment level. If there were any reward at all it would have to be low enough not to be exploitable, gem of ease turned off, etc.

How is the thorns damage? What level torment/GRifts are you running consistently?
