I voted for the offline mode. When I first heard that Diablo 3 would be coming to consoles I was excited by the idea of crushing some demons with my friends on the big screen. I was never truly interested in taking my console gaming onto the internet and was ecstatic to hear that it would not be required like it is for the PC. I never purchased the console version of Diablo 3 because I and my brothers all had the computer version but I could think of no better way to spend our christmas than leveling up some characters on the couch like we did with other dungeon crawlers back in the day.
I tried to made a small clip, my very fist one actually, a really 30 sec long one!!

thank you for the video; I was confused about it before but this build looks really cool. I am glad to see people getting creative and the build looks very cool.
P.S Just have to mention that i made myself a little personal challenge not to buy gear from AH or accept from friends, using drops only, so it was pretty bleek for a while progression wise - Woot Paragon!
I also follow this regiment, well, I accept and offer from friends but I do not ask from them. It makes upgrades more reasonably obtainable.
Congratulations on the set item though, I have only found one and it was an awful Immortal Kings helmet with intellect and nothing, but it sold for like four dollars on the RMAH, so I was happy.
As mentioned, base stats are far too important in this current system. An all stats would become the most desirable affix for most builds and Blizzard has worked to limit 'must have' affixes specifically like IAS.
Please post a spoiler alert in your title or somewhere before you announce the death of a primary character in a completely separate series. You have definitely just dampened that experience for me.
If you didn't want to see any spoilers, then perhaps visiting a fan site where there's bound to be spoilers everywhere (especially 2 months after the game came out) isn't the best idea. It's your fault, not mine.
EDIT: just realised you weren't talking about Diablo. Most sincere apologies to a fellow gears player. How have you managed to dodge all of the spoilers from all over the internet?
I haven't actually gotten much into the online gears scene and have really only finished the first one, albeit I have gone through it about 4 or 5 times. But those were of such enjoyment that I figured I would play the 2nd and 3rd when the time comes. But I am more concerned about the journey rather than the destination when it comes to stories (unless I am very into a certain series) or all of that hype people talk about; in short, no worries, just a suggestion for the future.

Do you think that Jay Wilson still goes home to play Diablo 3 for fun? I mean, I am in general a strong advocate of it, even if I have my gripes about the storyline and so forth, but even I have been on a playing hiatus for about five days.
How many people on the Diablo 3 staff do you think are still playing for fun?
Being part of the quarter system at a UC means we are in week seven right now; I have two midterms this week and a paper due. I am planning on playing on release morning, but after I get a mild fix I am going to buckle down and really limit my playing. Summer is close enough and we have waited so long, I can wait a bit more for full immersion.
Thank you for the input guys; I was thinking that primarily all of the classes were widely accepted but had noticed a number of complaints about 'class x' not being in the game. And I have definitely not heard complaints about the ability to remove gems or crafting, with exception to the complaints about the removal of the enchantress, but no complaints about the other two's mechanics.
I don't know if this topic has been brought up before but it has been on my mind since January when I first began enjoying the forums on Diablo 3 on a daily basis.
I am curious if there has been any change or addition to Diablo 3 that was widely accepted. I am thinking about something that few to no people made any complaint about, something that did not receive any kind of major "adjustments" or "why this needs to change" post, but something that 98% of the forum followers were excited or content towards.
