Chantodo isnt a Level 70 only Class set. It was a level 60 set that's upscale to 70.

I also got two chantodo forces from her. (with a mirrorball inbetween)
Just to add a little more detail, the "full" level 60 class sets are now Torment-only. But "mini-sets" like Chantodo's Resolve are not. The only Wizard level 60 set which got made Torment-only was Tal Rasha's.
no, pretty sure Tal-Rasha isnt Torment-only.

If it really is, you should tell Blizzard, because It would be missing from their "List of Torment Only Legendaries": http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/52028-is-wand-of-woh-torment-only-drop

Did u get that source at level 70? Because she is not supposed to be able to give torment only items. The green class sets are torment only. The exception is those items below level 70 can still drop from her.

posted a message on Need help with a disintegrate build for hardcore.
    First few pointers:

Yes, Crit and Crit Damage works for Disintegrate. If you notice, the white damage ticks are never the same. That's because of how it works as a channel spell, it hits extremely fast (we're talking splitseconds) and since that would be wayyy too many numbers, Blizzard "combines" all the attacks done in a 0.5sec window into a single number. If there were say, 20 attacks in that window, and 15 of them are crits, the white number will be bigger than if only 3 of them were crit. So yes, it does benefits from Crit and Crit damage, and its still the best way to get your damage up.

It also benefits from attack speed, but you dont see the beam shoot faster since it'll still combines all the ticks in the same 0.5sec window but 2 attacks per second means double disintegrate damage. It also means twice the arcane power consumption. The best bet to not run out of arcane power would be to have Ressource Cost Reduction, at least on your shoulders and possibly weaon (Damage, Intellect, Socket, Ressource)

The slower your weapon, the less arcane power Disintegrate will use. Slower weapons also means higher weapon damage so your damage will the same as using an equivalent faster weapon. Also, using the Templar with Inspire is great, as well as possibly looking into 3piece Tal Rasha for the 2 arcane per second would help.

Just out of curiosity: Why do you skill Cascade instead of Disruption?
I use cascade, because of the extra missile procs. It helps kill packs faster. If I have time before a boss/guardian fight, then I'll switch to disruption for single target damage.
Maybe i screwed something up, but i had also expected Disruption to be better single target. I did some Ghom kills and strangely Disruption and Cascade were the same kill times.

Life on kill > Life per second > life per hit for wizards atm in Arcane / Frost builds. Running with 13K life per second and 13K life per kill and 450K hp (8M toughness) and it's more than sufficient to do T4 rifts without dying, unless I fuck up big time.

In the end, it's going to depend on what you want to do - personally, I find magic missiles with a mirrorball so freaking OP that I wouldn't hesitate rolling the skill dmg to vit or something else.
If you find Magic missiles so OP, i'm pretty sure you wouldnt hesitate to rolling 15% magic missiles :P

posted a message on bonus dmg to Elites in 2.0.4 changed?
    Quote from Bullkathos1928

it may have a cap, like armor and resist with more you get, less you have form it.
Every point of armor gives you the same amount of damage reduction. Same goes for Resists. There is no cap, there is just a linear scaling. The reason the % increase goes smaller and smaller the more you stack is because that would make it exponential scaling, and would be terribly broken.

Take this for example: Add 1% damage reduction when you dont have any. Instead of taking 100 damage, you take 99. That's a 1% reduction. If you add that 1% when you have 90% reduction, you go from taking 10 damage, to 9 damage. That's a 10% increase in damage reduction! So the same amount that gives you 1% when you dont have any, need to give you 0.1% when you have 90% so that they are BOTH equal to a 1% reduction.

Armor and Resists always gives you the same amount of reduction, no matter how much you have.

Sorry for being offtopic, i just really felt like correcting the guy :(

This may be slightly offtopic but where are you getting your MF from? You said 135, but i count 39 on your helm only.

Vanilla sold 11 Million in the same Time Ros sold 2,7 Million.

And from the 2,7 Million lots of people are gone again due to the terrible droprates.
Millions of people got Vanilla for free. Not so much for RoS. Also, millions still have a bad taste from vanilla that they didnt even give RoS a chance.

well, based on that comparison, the crit would end up being less damage (since its a 7% overall increase) as opposed to the flat 13% increase wave of force damage.

BUT, you could reroll that socket into getting 6% crit -and- 13% damage. How great would that be? Based on your other helm, i take it you were going to put a ruby in it, and 39% xp isnt that great because if you really wanted to get xp, you could bump up the difficulty and get 400, 800, 1100% exp. I wouldnt give up 6% Crit to change that into 439, 839 or 1139 in the grand scheme of things.

If it was a multiplicative bonus, that would be an entire different story. (Would turn those dfifficulties into 556, 1112, 1529)

...Disintegrate or Arcane Torrent doesnt feel any difference with the exception of burning your arcane power faster without being able to see that it deals more damage.
But the ticks come faster, so you're doing more damage / second.
Oh i know, but i'm talking that its much easier to see attack speed's effects on orbs, you are physically shooting them much faster and your casting animation for them is also greatly improved, than it is to see it on Disintegrate

Arcane Orb is the one spender we have that uses Arcane Power much more efficiently than the others ones imo. Shooting orbs at 1 aps feels MUCH slower and weaker than shooting orbs at 2 aps. On the other hand, attack speed with RoF, Disintegrate or Arcane Torrent doesnt feel any difference with the exception of burning your arcane power faster without being able to see that it deals more damage.

I don't know what you were saying by "Having to start paying per month". Diablo 3 has absolutely no monthly costs, that you got the annual pass or not and neither will Reaper of Souls. In general, only MMOs have subscriptions, and D3 isn't one.

After the whole "The New Paragon system is uncapped and you can get exp forever! Oh also we just removed caps" is pretty much exactly what Borderlands 2 Badass Ranks are...
And now the suggestions that they combined both makes me think of Normal / True Vault Hunter / Ultimate Vault Hunter.

Then again, Borderlands devs arent better, considering their new Overpower system is pretty much the same thing as Monster Power.
