    I don't know if this website is allowed here (please tell me if this is not the case) but they seem to have some blizzard insider source stating that there will be the 3rd Expansion announcement during this year's Blizzcon.

    It's already been said that item would drop (and upscale) at any lvl above the minium required level.
    And that's a SHAME ! I'd totally love to drop some Windforce while leveling a DH, even if I replace it by some random blues a few levels later, it'd add so much more fun and variety, damn !

    Hi, you may want to correct the Witch Doctor Progression picture. It currently redirects to the Monk Progression page ;)

    Keep up the good job and thanks again for you impressive daily coverage !

    posted a message on Ranged are at an extreme disadvantage in Inferno mode...
    At first I rolled a Barb, it was like, yeah pretty easy and I was feeling soooo powerful, 'til lvl 40. Then I had to switch SnB (played in a 4 players party). Then I reached Inferno. Act 1 was difficult but soon cleared. Act2 was a pain in the ass for about a week until I finally managed to grab some gear (from direct drop, friend and ah).

    Then... act 3 : are you kidding me ? 9k armor, 300 all res, 75k hp = completely raped by random trash packs.
    Then I tried to review my gear by getting the String of Ears belt, the Helm of Command and even a chest with 4% melee damage reduction. New stats = 51K hp, 30% block chance, 800 all res, 23% melee dmg reduction = still not able to handle the trash on the way to Asmodan.

    Then I went on my fresh lvl 60 DH, grab some gear, soon reached 87K dps without spending much in the AH (probably less than 500K). Currently doing some Inferno Asmodan with 5 NV stacks with a couple of mates (dh and wiz respectively).

    What did you complain about with ranged again ?

    ...Can't wait till they make the legendary weapons worthwhile... This is just ridiculous...
    I agree, the hype of looting a legendary fade rapidly to desapointment... it's most of the time garbage salvage items.

    Well, I did some further researches, it seems that I was wrong too... or am I ? :/
    The base item, for the spear linked above should be : http://d3db.com/item/i/centurion-spear

    In this tooltip, you can clearly see that without any affixe (no modifier), the top end damage is 320.
    If you add the 643 dmg bonus and multiply by 1.20 (which is the atk speed), you get (320+643)*1.20=1155.6 DPS which is slightly above the dps of the spear previously shown.

    So to make long story short, the DPS written in the tooltip seems to include the +X dmg and the +% dmg bonuses.
    I'd guess it is the same for the +X attack speed and any elemental dmg, but I'm not sure it is the case for stats bonus such as str, dext etc. Moreover, I'm pretty sure it doesn't include +% crit dmg.

    Are you sure ?
    Take a look at the weapon below.
    Using you formula :
    a = (655+1152)/2 + (276+643)/2= 1363
    b = 1.2
    c = 1.35
    DPS = 1363*1.2*1.35 = 2 208.06

    The DPS is 1 083.8 though.
    In my opinion, a more correct version of the fomula would be DPS = a * b, the additionnal bonuses (str, %dmg, elemental dmg etc.) are not included into the dps shown in the tooltips.

    If I'm missing anything on why Revenge is good please let me know, because I find it pretty lackluster after the initial reaction of OMFG THIS KILLS EVERYTHING AND IM IMMORTAL BBQSAUCE.
    No Cooldown. You can basically spam it, over GCD when surrounded by monsters. The more monsters, the better.

    God you're right !

    The reverse letter could have only one meaning... what if Diablo is actually the father of Decard Cain, sent to the Burning Hells as a Spy... and... Tyrael is actually the incarnation of Evil, sent to the High Heavens to corrupt the Angiris Council and get Sanctuary destroyed O.O

    Quote from Windex7

    Sadly I'm pretty sure you can get the best (or close to) item in the game by crafting a rare with 6 affixes.

    Why sadly ?
    From what we've gathered so far, we can guess that crafting end game stuff will be hugely expensive (mass comps, gold etc.)
    Moreover, every affixe should be widely random, so before poping a "perfect" craft, which is supposed to be close to the better stuff, you'd probably need to craft sh*tload of items.
    It could be millions of gold before getting a decent craft, so it doesn't seem to be "the easy way" of getting overpowered.

    Once again, you could just also pop the perfect craft the first time... but it's not different from running through the game and getting a Legendary from a barrel.

    Each player receives their own item drops and gold from mobs that only they can see and pick up. However health globes are global, and shared.
    I may be wrong about that, but I think I read somewhere that gold dropped by Goblin Treasure Seekers was actually shared between players. Can anyone confirm/deny this ? :)

    Awesome recap ! Keep up the good work.

    There is something I'd like to clarify though, during the time spent on beta, I salvaged a sh*tload of blues, and gained "Petrified Bark" several times. If I'm not wrong, it is a Normal Legendary crafting material. Has it been wiped out of the game ? Now that I think about it, I didn't get any with the last few patches... last one was maybe on patch 14 or something.
