I know we've had threads like this before, but with the release fresh in all our brains i figure everyone is probably finalizing their plans.

For me, i've been saving PTO for about a year, so i can have 2 weeks straight just to play the hell out of this game. I'll get it on a tuesday, then wait till friday for my PTO to start, so i have 2 full weeks of uninterrupted demon slaying. During that time, i'm thinking lots of unhealthy stuff, pizza, snacks, etc. mixed in with an occasional walk so i dont turn to gelatin, hang out with girlfriend time, but i plan on putting in 40 hours a day, build a character or two up to inferno, and try my hand at the RMAH.

I'll have a designated napping area in my house, to occasionally take naps throughout the day - I find i get the funnest and have the best gaming experience right after waking from a nap. So theres mead, pizza, naps, sodas in the fridge, maybe some beers, and maybe i'll get some REALLY good sandwich ingredients and try to get my GF to make me some sammiches during my D3 break (which she knows is my "special edition" vacation aka: my special ed vacation), And yeah, that's my gig. Been planning it for TOO long.

I'm right there with you about the GF time, but thankfully for me, I got mine to play!!!! That's right i'm amazed too. Now I can do something with her and I don't have to feel bad about it, I think tyrael's watching over me now =D I wish I could go for something nasty like some monster energy drinks, domino's cheesy bread, chedder and sour cream chips with bean dip, and maybe some greasy Mexican food but I spent all this time getting healthy dunno if I can take a break from it. Could still go with like a sugarfree energy drink, maybe get my heart rate high enough to make a few more hours in the day for play time, omg I can't wait!!!!

Like 10 years? Funny how close you are to not exaggerating lol. I seriously can't wait, had mine pre-ordered months ago aswell. Not showing up on my gamestop account as a pre-order but I made him print me a receipt, don't trust teh gamestop!

EDIT: And yeah Pico is fugly i'll bet she knows as much about games as Morgan Webb does, which is appropriate because they're both equally unattractive (which is an obvious factor as to how they got that job somehow) and have the personality of a wet tube sock. I honestly don't care for the monk myself, never really been in to martial arts kind of stuff. Would've preferred like a paladin 2.0 to a monk.

My wizard or barb will be a guy, not that i've ever had a problem with people being the opposite gender, even though "I play it for 9 hours I might as well be look at hot ass derp derp" is a lame excuse. I've always felt you make your character based around someone you wish you could be.

I realize volume doesn't count (i'm glad it doesn't), but I rarely get a chance to show off my fanaticism. I love my bubbly D3 shirt, gotta love seeing a 6ft tall dude wearing it =D. I would have the phone case on my phone but who has cameras nowadays. I also have a large diablo III wall poster I wanted to show but I think it got a bit cluttered. I know you said "licensed products only", but I just wanted you all to see my little clay tyrael head, I know i'm far far from being an artist (look at my handwriting) but I had that badass image of tyrael in my head and needed to create something from it; And that's my towel, you hear me? My towel! I also had a mana squeezy ball but I popped it from not getting a beta key =p Jk, I have three dogs... I've also bought tens of copies of D1 and D2, wish I still had more of them to show but that's the reason I had to buy more of em, kept losing the sleeves with the cd-keys.

I'm really glad someone's doing this, needless to say i've been a bit frustrated with blizzard, being a long time fan for over a decade and still just getting what i've paid for with no respect at all. I'm not trying to improve my chances or anything btw (in fact, I might be submitting too late), I just had to get that off of my chest. I know ALOT of people are in the same boat as me, and I wish you all the best of luck!

While I can appreciate all of the hard work you put into this, I really hope end-game doesn't look like this. Another blizzard game that's fallen prey to "cookie cutter builds" and theory crafting. I hope that they've put enough randomization in the game to avoid that happening, so everyone can actually show what they're made of rather than looking at parses and squeezing out every last point of damage, coming to some weird realization like that a boring as hell melee DH would be the most economical way to go for damage or something stupid like that.

I'm probably going to be a wizard. My GF is going to be monk/DH and my friend is going WD. It's still a dilemma for me though, I do love Wiz but barb does sound like alot of fun.
