    Critin' barb -
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#adUReP!Zge!aZZZbY

PvE all-out crit based barbarian with Overpower as a base ability and Battle Rage, Revenge, Wrath of the Berserker as Crit/dmg/surviveability buffing tools. Theat generator is Bash (can be swapped for Cleave) and Leap Attack with call of Arreat in order to pull demons closer and slice em with killing spree Overpower. Passives are Ruthless for obvious reason, Brawler coz you'll be allways in the middle of the fight and superstition to get some surviveability for non melee atacks that are mitigated by dodge on striding giant rune.

My biggest concern is that it seems like they care more about normal difficulty than Inferno. They do so many things to make it better for people that won't even play the game past normal and it's things that end up making the game worse for people that want to play at max level. If you want to change runes like this, that's fine but you're taking a big chunk out of Inferno. Why can't you add a rank of runes in Inferno that improves your skills in addition to this system? That alone would make me enjoy the system. Sadly, it seems they don't care about Inferno or the players that want to play it.

Thats a great idia! Leaving rank 6-7 runes in inferno in order to leave some room for improvement after hell, but keeping casuals happy about getting instant, large bonuses to skills while they level up + 2 rank of runes wont cause much of inventory problems. Thats something blizzard should really consider doing.

Couldn't have said it better. In the old system, it's like that stupid meme "I heard you like grinding, so i put some grinding in your grinding while you grind!". Does it matter that a boring grind has been removed. It's great! Fair enough, the down side is that you can't choose at what level to socket those runes, but now it's all about the gear and demon slaying, not about trying to improove your skills with a rune that makes it do 1% more damage and only has a 1% drop rate.

Customization means making choices in order to make your char play/feel/look unique. With this system there is no element of choice. You get 5 runes in, if you dont like them you instantly swap it. There is no drawbacks or penalties for changing runed skills like gloves. You get new piece of gear? You look on stats, compare to what you have, decide weather it is worth to change current item on new one. You evaluate your profit from this new item, and that what makes process feel nice. With old rune system getting rune meaned you should have though about which skill to improve first, and which upgrade later, with next drop. The feeling of hard decisions is totally gone.
And on top of that... Blizzard made 10 or something charecter slots on 1 battlenet account. Please... Who needs to level more than 1 char of each class with this skill system? Yes, D2 days are gone, its no longer possible to make games so brutal towards mass audience. Choosing 1 build, and having no or very little space to actually respec is no longer a viable disign choice. With old rune system you could've atleast make a good build with top tier runes and leave it that way, level up new char and get different build with top tier runes to try out, without loosing the first one. Now every single char of same class at lvl 60 is absolutely same to any other char of same class at lvl 60 (apart from gear ofcourse). Thats what u call customization? T'is an epic fail my friend.

    So summing it all up.
We are getting 100+ active skills per class instead of 20+. On other hand we are loosing the whole customization system our charecters had. Just imagine for a second that apart from having all possible runes at lvl 60, you would get access to all items. Sure you would be able to create any possible build u want, but whats the point in that? Where is fun?
Customization through items and through runes is not that different. Its not only about deciding what item/rune you want in order to achieve certain build, its about finding that item/rune. Finding through trading, grinding, crafting. Now its gone :(
So infact we are left with items as the only way to customize our charecters or am i missing something?
Ive always belived in blizzards ability to pull off great games and design decisions, but i dont see how this one is good for late game.Sure it is fun for someone who will level their charecters through normal to lvl 30, or maybe even to 60 through hell, but this system has only negative impact on inferno gameplay.
