posted a message on Diablo 3 fans, DONT GIVE UP
I've been finding it funny that when I discover the contest it just happens to be a minute or five after it's posted; so I curse my luck.

You just have to be patient and keep trying the chance is out there, if not facebook at least there are other ways to score a beta spot even if it's not here.

I found some who got in from Blizzard even checked my specs and found out i was still using an old laptop ; which made me cringe so I had to quickly change them he he.

posted a message on Are builds actually the way to go?
Well that's up to you and what character your playing or style you like to play. Some people want to start out with the best possible path to go and not feel they did something wrong later on when they can't meet the challenges as much. Myself I never looked up builds for the 1st and 2nd I just played and still managed to make it; sure I probably didn't have the optimal build but i at least had one to get me through.

But that's normal playing, if you're on hardcore you need to find what spells go with each other that best take on the challenge in front of you. Like having a slow spell that lets you gather the enemy in a tight group and allowing you to do an Area of Effect spell on them. But trial and error is what all have done, I guess probably pre-reading on spells before hand helps you set up later on.

posted a message on Who will be the next Diablo
Leah seems the choice, but then again we could be introduced to someone else in the game that is a more likely candidate. Leah's mother would be the other. Unless they caught both and used both bodies as a conduit to bring Diablo forth; ones the anchor the other being what is sacrificed to ensure Diablo can cross.

posted a message on If You Could Import One Class From D2, Which Would You Save?
I'd save the druid just for his pets; well his shape shifting too I can't really forget that. I'm more of a furry then a bone type person, but can't say I wouldn't choose the necromancer next.

It's all about having your army verse theirs.

posted a message on What do you think of the max 10 caracters per account?
It's alright with me, 5 characters we can choose from that's half the slots. Only thing left would be to wait for expansion to take up another one or two spots or if I had different builds. I mean at least one of the main 5 characters will be hardcore or a duplicate.

For me I'm not sure how many times I'd be playing through, unless I'm building a PvP character. So 10 slots is good for me.

posted a message on Your release plans
Probably depending on time and schedule do an all night gaming; starting with standing in line for midnight release. Unless I know others who are getting it at that hour and staying up all night I'll just solo play till they jump on.

Thought of replaying Diablo 2 to get myself in the proper mood.

I just want to hoard items... I'm such a pack rat.

posted a message on To co-op or not to co-op?
Well I will be playing solo at first to get a feel for the game; gather items for others if I can to get them geared up. I will probably pick a class that most likely be of assistance to the group; like the monk with his group abilities.

I can't say I won't group with others, as I want to get the full experience and that's possible with others. Only bad part is hopefully finding others that I know playing it or do a random find and hope we at least have some cohesion to play effectively.

posted a message on New class in D3 expansion !
Nah Bard should be the new class, lets go away from the D1/D2 classes and be new. He'll be a major help to parties with his buffs and his songs will instill fear/dread/pain into the heart/minds of his foes.

I'd like to see Paladin come back maybe even in the form of a Cleric who summons his/her deities powers onto the field. Army of angel warriors bursts forth from the Cleric in all directions or a straight line to bathe their enemies in holy fire.

What if even we had a Demon/Succubus itself who is seeking redemption or revenge and they summon imps/demons of their own to fight for them.

So many possibilities, and so much time to speculate on what they will be hehe. :D

    Quote from Malthael

Maybe assuming one's "true form" is so hard that one needs outside help, like in Diablo's case.

I could see where they need to find a host and be a parasite in this person waiting and slowly corrupting the host till they can come forth. Depending on your power level you'll want either a host you are sure to be able to corrupt and is strong enough to house your enormous power; also you would want to add the hosts powers/resources to your own so you have to be very selective. Some just pick an easy target others research; that sort of stuff.

Does help to have worshipers who can help you in finding the right target and ensure things go well.

posted a message on Witch Doctor Skills in the latest Beta Patch!
So he's a wide variety of elemental oriented spells it seems, least gives you a variety to use against monsters. The toad spell seems to random for attack, which I can see it only being used with large number of enemies to ensure it would hit someone.

Can't wait to do the summons though, those will be interesting. I'm just wondering where he keeps all those jars for the spider summons O.o...

posted a message on Why do *you* want to play Beta
I've done many beta's to try out the game while looking for bugs. If you happen to find a bug and let the developers know about it does make you feel a little better about yourself as you are contributing to making the game better. I always wondered if they got tired of seeing e-mails from me after sending in so many bugs/glitches on games like Ultima Online or Star Wars.

But that's what a Alpha/Beta/Delta is for to crunch the bugs, to make the release more enjoyable for others. My worst experience and often thought of as a failure on my part was SEED MMO. Game was full of bugs that either crashed the game or just made it unplayable for missions. I sent e-mail begging them not to release yet till they fixed them, but investors were in power so they ha\s\d to listen to them; I'm not even sure if it lasted a week.

posted a message on What class and why?
I love my pet classes; the feel of commanding others or just having a partner when no one else is around. Though the Monk class does look interesting with his martial arts moves and other abilities. Heck they all look interesting; but I'll focus on pet class to start and be curious of the others later on.

I just want my army that's all, and let everyone else step aside as we decimate the area.
