I just... have this urge to play some characters as female, some as male. When i play wizards or ranged in general, they'll be female, tanks or other melee oriented characters will always be male.
Good luck guys. Though our chances may be slim to none, 50 of us will walk away with a key in their (digital) hands. As long as you guys actually test stuff instead of just having a lot of fun (or... have fun while testing stuff?)
I chose this build because i'll be mostly focussing on AoE, killing the larger groups of enemies. I'm also playing the game quite softcore, very PvE focused and mostly casual. My first runthrough will be entirely with friends of mine, making me less dependant on single target damage (which i will still have via cluster arrow and rapid fire). Runing my skills make them all AoE, with hungering arrow and bola shot generating hatred while sustaining myself with cluster arrow(Mealstrom).
My passive skills consist of a increase in utility for vault with tactical advantage, making it easier to kite away, cull the weak to kill enemies faster after slowing them via bola and brooding to heal myself between battles, or after kiting around enemies for extended periods of time.
Give up hope? hah, it's stronger then ever here :). Yeah it's a long wait, this is true, but i think that when this game comes out EVERYTHING will be fine. Every person who said they have "lost faith in blizzard" will play it and love it. Quite sure of that. Blizzard may take a long time on development, but the games they bring are worth the wait. Best tip there is? Stop looking at sites like this every day, check back on it once a week. The more involved you get, the longer the wait will feel. I've been there, believe you me.
I kind of hope they won't put in these kind of items. Buying power in a game is, in my opinion, never fun. It takes away the feeling of accomplishment when defeating a boss, and i can't imagine running though normal being massively overpowered is either. Put in cosmetic items, that's fine. If people want to spend a few more bucks so their hero will look the way they want to, then let them.
But selling power gives the person behind the computer an incentive to buy that "power" so that his/her character can be stronger then others, which, in turn, makes the other people buy it as well. People don't wanna get left behind much. Brilliant marketing of course, the sheep will always follow, but it won't make the game anymore fun for the players that can't or refuse to buy it.
The same idea works with cosmetics as well though. But then you know that, as a player, you can actually play the game in the same way the "prettier" or "better looking" hero does, you have the same skills, same stats and same characters the one with the real money has, giving you more freedom to buy or not buy the cosmetics.
All in all i would say that, real money cosmetic? sure. real money in-game power? No thank you.
May 11th, with absolutely nothing to base this on! It was actually the first date that randomly popped into my head the day it was announced to be Q2. Can't wait till i'm running around with my demon huntress
Pretty excited, yes. Played diablo 1 and 2 quite some time, and have been following most if not all changes in the beta (which i am not part of sadly). I watched streams, screenshots, recorded gameplay, you name it. Actually bought Book of Cain so i could get in touch with the lore again.And while I do hope the release is early 2nd quarter, but i don't mind really, as long as i actually get the game in my hands one day. I just cannot wait to get my demon huntress running about, killing everything and having an insanely good time with my friends.
