Appreciate the update, we very much enjoy seeing the progress and getting a sneak peak what has been happening behind the scenes.
This post will probably never be seen, but one thing that would be nice to at have at least be discussed, is the players ability to zoom out a bit more than what is shown in the current game-play footage of D4. Many of us prefer to zoom out a bit more than what is currently shown on D4, and D3, and it is a very common complaint on PoE. This option would great for many players.

They can only set a maximum zoom out distance and allow for zoom in. The reason is that if you allow players to zoom out even more you create the problem of mob aggro and shooting at them outside their engagement distance. The same problem appears in all isometric arpg. If you zoom out more you also have to modify the enemy engagement range in order to have a fair game. And that's not worth it . You zoom out and then what? Cluster fucks of mobs will enrage from across a large area and go out at you at once while you at the same time can overkill them or not . It's not fun after a while. You loose the visual details not to mention. What's next? Getting rid of visuals alltogheter and just play a input based game where you give commands like in chess board games and let the game autoresolve the movements. There is a reason why you set some limits to these things

It has already been explained. If you haven't played the demo yourself, you are getting a washed up experience. All the twitch and virtual streams do not do justice to the game. The game appears washed and low Res, which is not . Please research and play the demo before you spread "facts".

That's why the old normal nightmare hell system is the best.
Normal people, casuals ,those who are not very much into grinding and masochist arpg loot hunting should finish the normal game for the story and move on.
For the rest you would have nightmare and hell. It's been successfully implemented in numerous arpgs ever since to great succes. If You are a casual and complain that you want to be able to complete nightmare and hell and see the end game content just because you have "rights" and no free time to grind then , sorry but it's true, you are a moron. It's like saying you don't drink alcohol but want to experience drunkenness.

That's the official version. I think there is more than that. I think blizz needs all available advertising platforms to hype their stuff and the closing of diablofans was a big hit . They knew d4 and stuff is coming and I think and it's just my feeling that they had a part to play in reopening this site . There are a lot of people like me who don't surf the official diablo forums and instead use only dfans. It was unacceptable for this site to close when so much diablo is going to happen.

Nah, they just kept quiet on it until next BlizzCon comes. The game is ready for half a year now, at least that's what the China partners said. Why they haven't released it yet? Cause no one would buy. They wait to wash the hate on this BlizzCon with whatever bullcrap of lies they will announce about other Diablo projects , to hype people and then, you will see, they will release the game even during Blizzcon perhaps. And people will buy, cause that's how human mind work. They throw us a bone and we throw to them our money.

The famine and no stash are brutal, really fun if you have a lot of time to play.

IT is pretty much confirmed by now that D3 had 2 expansion packs planned, the second one was to be named " The king in the north" look the diablo wiki and you will find it.
It was thanks to Mr Morheim that it was decided to split the content into patches with the new zones, quests and all other systems and features being released for free as a compensation to the fans who felt cheated and lied about Diablo 3 .
Now the same shit that happened during the development of d3, happened in d4 in the course of 4 years they scrapped 2 iterations and changed 2 directors and still don't have a clue where to go with the game.
