    Waifu Wars 2, Patch 1.0.2, Patch 1.0.3, [SC/HC] Gold market crashing, lack of a Mystic artisan, lack of character selling, lack of HC RMAH... there's lots of reasons why people don't play anymore.


    edit Yes there are people who still follow patch notes to games they no longer play, because we care about the games we play.

    Wow.. so they still haven't added the HC RMAH and they're devaluing my 26KDPS/+324% gold find set AND capping it... so when do we get to sell our characters in the RMAH? once blizzard decides its game is whole?

    So in reality the best gold farmer is going to be the people who clear Act 3 inferno with their 'freedom' of hundreds of thousands of DPS... so the next gold find set is Crit/Crit dmg/Pickup radius?

    Unless you've already seen the art book... you kind of wonder why they left out the part where or why they made the male demon hunter look like Edward, unless you consider him sexy?

    I would have to agree with the system changes, the whole 'we doubled everything and we couldn't beat it!' now people are clearing it... what are they going to screw with next? stuff gets nerfed and crit stays on top anyway or they go the PoE way and +50% crit = 7.5% chance to crit.

    It's a bit tedious, like hundreds of runs, but the duration of the rest of what this thread is saying.. I'd put up with it while watching something else while doing it... before battle.net re-introduces that [terrible, depressing, I paid for this?] game creation limiter.

    I must admit going from 25% movement speed [7%unity+7%hammer jammer+12%sage seekers] to only 7% [unity] felt slower on screen but when I looked at the numbers I wasn't really going 19% faster, so many stops for firing a crossbow and looted chests in NM Act III that gold find was coming out on top. I used to value movement speed equal to gold find but not anymore.

    Currently have a 323% GF 7% Movement 26yd radius HC DH with 16.8?K DPS but he hasn't passed A1Q2 in hell yet so I'll have to test this area when the game comes back up. I'm hesitant to use my HC in hell so I think I'll try with my SC DH first with 330% GF and 14yd radius, shes only got 12K dps... I'll load up wolframalpha and figure out the base of the run then apply my current gold find%.

    IMO I have a hard time believing this area is better than inferno royal crypt ashes, got 780K GPH there before the nerf and if it is better... I'll just have to thank you.

    with my fast and loose math.. 400K GPH without drops factored in, rare packs have 140K hp vs 59K in NM which sucks up my time, at least for my setup. If I could clear the place in 20 seconds instead of 52 seconds I would be at ~1,049,580GPH. ... testing with fan of knives and see if I can kill the elite pack quicker... well that was a bust, averaged 56 seconds for those runs even with a 2K dps increase on my weapon.. 891minimum dmg vs 697minimum damage. I did find this crap on the 13 runs I did off a white mob.

    8hrs and 8min I believe is my shortest time [on a barb], going from new character to act3 and farming the staircase to 30, kill diablo, nm A3 staircase to 50, kill diablo, hell A3 staircase to 60. I had help getting Diablo and the next A3Q1.

    Barb has a bit of an advantage, leaps up to where the mobs are on top of the stairs, can vortex/stun them and lay down an AoE and laugh all the way back to the doorway to exit game and repeat.

    Why do people keep saying 'keep playing it', we were playing it... Apparently we can't play the game the way we want? what the hell happened to their quote saying if we wanted to loot vases and chests over slaying demons was A-OK. Another old quote about us ruining our gaming experience by skipping quests was our fault and none of their business.

    The Firestorm AoE is larger than the air allies plus you only have to walk down a wing and hit both sides in one go, we could debate how efficiently you can grab the loot.

    I agree the firebomb looks like a longer cast, before ghost bomb I was using the 6 targets one, it was fun to watch and when I showed my friends they were all thinking Slinky. When I was killing skeletons I'd use toads but for ashes I felt their radius is short and may not get them all so I swapped over to ghost bomb which has got to be the biggest yardage spell in this list at 28 yards.

    Strafe and it's runes are a little showy with a lot of hatred spent for mediocre results.

    I've heard a couple complaints about being a melee class and not being able to do this run as easily as lets say a Demon Hunter, I finished leveling all five classes and I've found some nice combinations for all classes and they all work in Inferno. If you're unfamiliar with this run refer to this video

    General Strategies
    +Gold Find gear equipped obviously
    You can kill the skeletons but you don't have to
    The classes below are not in-order of speed

    Witch Doctor (perk)
    Ghost Bomb ashes, Jaunt/Stalker around between ashes, Hedge Magic/Grasping Spirit/Desperate Grasp any surprises.

    Demon Hunter
    Summon Ferrets, Ball Lightning ashes, Tumble around between ashes, Entangling Shot any surprises and if you need to get close and your ferrets are busy Smoke Screen.

    Wizard
    Frozen Storm ashes, Teleport around between ashes and away from any surprises.

    Monk (Spirit regen may be required)
    Circular Breathing, Fire Storm ashes, Ascension/Self Reflection past any surprises.

    Barbarian
    Merciless Assault/Call of Arreat/Harpoon/Gangway ashes, Bravado/Call of Arreat/Gangway past any surprises.

    Discussion
    Your followers (templar) skills and +gold find items can give you a small [20% of equipped] boost, so don't bother spending too much on their items.
    I believe DH takes the cake in speed but the other classes aren't terrible, even the melee classes do a decent job if you use these combinations.
    One piece with +Pick Up Radius can be very helpful for all classes.

    WD and DH is straightforward, Wizard you have to keep casting Frozen Storm every 3 seconds, Monk has the same deal as the wizard [casting Fire Storm] only their resource doesn't regen as fast and the Barbarians Merciless Assault works on breakables so you could potentially break enough to have no cooldown multiple times. Gangway seems to rub up against breakables then breaks them, hope this sees some attention later on since it's like tempest rush but that skill doesn't try to run around objects first before breaking them.

    I'm posting about this subject now that there are videos of this run and people are advertising it, selling gold find sets and calling for nerfs etc, I did this run in the beta and thought it would be nice to see if it scaled up in Inferno and it did. I don't care about 'N.Valor stacks', you generate more pure gold this way end of story.

    Crap someone else figured it out and just had to tell the world, I did this originally to get from 57 to 60 my first time in hell, was tired of champion packs and what not.

    Now I've got 3 60s and a 55, my experience doing it [currently] as a monk is it's slow and may require some gear upgrades because you don't have cooldowns to abuse everytime you resume game, unlike Archon for Wizard or Multishot/Prep for DH, my friend tells me on his barb there wasn't much room for abuse since you don't start the game with Fury, currently in hell I can Serenity(absorb/explode after it's duration is up) and use the enemies take more damage mantra, with all the little ones you can reflect 20K with just pushing 2 buttons! Since Azmo quest xp was nerfed I went to Act 3 normally this time so 22-30 normal, 30-50 NM and now 50-55 hell, you can finish it in hell but yes it takes around 50 runs for a level.

    Yes you lose out on learning how to play your class doing it this way, when I first started rares dropped nicely in normal on my monk, I got one legendary in Nightmare (2 characters, gaining 40 levels, later) which was a lv 36.. and they drop lv 44 blues? anyway it's to be expected because you're not killing champion packs or elite packs most of the time.
