I was in a game with a couple of other players who I do not know. We got into a rift run and then a greater rift run. During both runs my paragon level increased over 100 levels each. I kept getting that flash of light and announcement that I had leveled up. At the same time I was getting one hit killed by tame enemies like skeletons. Also, at the end of the greater rift run the chance of upgrading all legendary gems was 100% How is that possible?
I am using a weapon called The Tormentor. I managed to get one socket in it but would like to add more. Is this possible or am I wasting my time and resources trying?
