It sounds like he's saying he can't push skills on his keyboard and land where he wants to which doesn't make sense. Maybe he can make it clearer for us when he replies.
edit: so you're complaining that you can only use 6 skills at a time? You can change skills in combat but it will put a cooldown on it. Anyway with the release 17 hours away I'm too excited to complain about something like that I just want to play already!!!
Would also like to point out that after they introduced synergies with 1.10 you realistically didn't have more than 6 useful skills anyway so it's not really any different. Hammerdin was alternating between teleport and concentration aura (not including any buffing etc)
I remember reading ( I can not recall where before you ask) that armor is all damage. Now I can already hear someone say " but then the barb with strength gets both magic resistance AND physical resistance!" However I would like to point out that just how many points into armor and how many points into intelligence for its magic resistance may be greatly different. For all we know it could take x10 times the strength to get the same magic resist as just int.
I seem to remember it telling you point for point how much you get on the character sheet. For example it said 1 point of int increases your resist by 2 (don't actually remember the correct amount)
edit: oops just realised you're talking about armour vs int matching mitigation %s
None of my friends are going to play through the night like I am (EU timezone) and most are getting the physical copy so on the first day of release I'll probably be playing in public games... which means I'll quickly move to playing alone due to how unstable D2 ladder reset public games were. yay for bad players blocking entrances and TPs with hordes of monsters that owned them and then the game empties out and you can't find any decent players on the same act/quest as you... yup will be playing solo tbh.
I think a lot of people were probably expecting a D3 to come out after they finished LoD. Blizzard North was apparently working on the game from 2000-2005 (http://diablo.incgam...n-of-diablo-iii) so I think by 2006 I genuinely believed there would never be a Diablo III
Would also like to say that I think expansion 1 will be defending heaven and then attacking hell in expansion 2, based on those screenshots. I don't think they would give up on the idea of us going to heaven when the original game was based on it and none of the acts we've seen in the skill videos look like a heaven act.
Yeah it's really expensive. I'm unhappy about paying £45 for the digital copy when it will be £35 in shops but I want to play the game the moment it goes live so digital it is...
Nothing to do with the thread, though it went off topic from the 2nd post but CCP released some info on the male:female % in EVE online http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/CSM_voting_patterns you can see the playerbase is approx 4% female. I think it probably varies a lot for each MMO, I would expect a much higher % in WoW because I doubt the cruel world of EVE online appeals to many women but still nowhere near 50/50.
I wrote a really long post about how I describe a gamer and different types of gamer but it's too difficult to put into a short post so I'll just say I think it's someone who plays games(not farmville/facebook/phone games etc) for 20+ hours a week. People who play CoD for a couple hours a week aren't gamers.
I just need to get a Wizard to 13 for overachiever, though I don't know why I'm doing it since I'm tired of farming the SK and it's putting me off of the game in general. Really not fun farming 20 minutes of content over and over again when your character is going to get wiped and you've been waiting years for the full game.
Barely remember this but I got my first SoJ when I traded some sort of rare shield for one back in 1.09 and then had it scammed when I joined a game recruiting for a clan that told me to download a program to join their chat channel. The program was a simple macro that opened your inventory and threw all your stuff on the ground, the SoJ was probably worth 100x more than the rest of my gear but I didn't even know I think I was more upset about losing my trang gloves!
Even if all the drops are blue and not whites, you'll want to pick them all up to salvage if it's not good enough to equip. I don't ever think there will be a time when blues are not worth picking up.
At some point you'll probably have "insert the name of the material you get from blue here" for years of crafting and this mat will be worth nothing on the auction house. So, at that point you'll want to know if the item is worth it for one of your character instead of taking it and having to salvage it. But in another way, its not like it takes time to salvage stuff, maybe 10 sec for your whole inventory, so you might always want to pick up blue.
I don't think that is true. Rares(yellow) are going to be the best items in the game, assuming you can spawn them with the perfect combination of stats which means people are always going to be crafting the 6 mod rares at the blacksmith and using up every salvage material they ever find in pursuit of rares with the correct modifiers the highest they can be.
If you take crafting in D2 as an example or gambling with unid rares, (pulling numbers out my ass) you might craft/identify 100 items which could have 6 mods on them, and if you're lucky 1.. maybe 2 of those items out of 100 will have even 2 useful mods on it. Salvage materials are always going to be worth something while rares are the best items in the game.
edit: someone is inevitably going to reply that you also need the rare salvage mats for crafting those rares so you may end up with an infinite supply of blue ones but I imagine Blizzard will tweak the amounts needed to craft things or even buff the chance of a yellow salvage mat from a blue item if they think blues are in danger of becoming worthless or charsi food.
Out of only those 2 drinks, Coke all the way! Though diet Coke is one of the most horrible things I have ever tasted but diet Pepsi actually tastes nice
Barbarian tank build intended to lead the fight taking all of the damage so the damage deals can focus on what they do best without having to move around and dodge attacks. Hopefully will stop your group from getting instantly killed by elite packs as most of us have seen many times on Diablo 2 hell mode in bad gear!!!
