I agree with this article/comments- i am in Nightmare difficulty now and normal was pretty easy- since then i have had to experiment heaps as Wizz with some terrible builds and have ended up with hydras/blizz/generally icy build that works quite well.... still experimenting.... In groups the reduced arcane enery rune with meteor works well with a barb holding the mobs and a bit of ice going on... for now... I'm expecting to continue to experiment...

posted a message on [SPOLIER] Speculation of End Game Event/s
OK- this Spoiler is a speculation of how the hero will be saved and the Big D vanquished- leaving a gap.... read on if u wanna...

OK- In the early game it appears that Tyrael may be cast down- possibly made human even- and we have to recover and reforge (I presume) part of his sword destroyed when the world stone was smashed.

OK- having gotten his sword back we know that Leah is possessed by Diablo and the story unfolds- possibly in a mix of Diablo's plan all along BUT with Tyrael seeing a possible solution later on with Leah havinf Diablo in her as a "Saccrifice".

Tyraels's sword is rumored to not be able to kill a "being of righteous intent" but can pierce any other known substance- according to the Book of Cain. Sooo I recon at the end either the hero or Tyrael will smite the big D BUT Leah will be spared as she is of "righteous intent" - this act will remove the tainted blood of Aiden/Diablo from her permanently and she will assume the role in future of the much hotter than Deckard Cain guide for us in coming expansions and D4 :P

I thought Diablo was based on The Devil - it being another name for Lucifer and all.

And - correct me if I'm wrong here - one of the characteristics of The Devil is that he tries to turn people to the dark side. For example, in the bible he tricks Eve into eating a forbidden apple, and he spends quite some time trying to turn St Anthony and indeed Jesus Christ to the dark side.

So it seems to me that the correct question is:

    Is Diablo the Devil?

Since all this turning to the dark side is so clearly based on stuff about devils and temptations from the bible. And this of course reveals the question asked by this thread to be the stupid thing that it is. ;)

    Sif stupid.

Very UNLIKE Satan's temptation of both Eve/Adam and Jesus (dont know about Anthony whoever- he isnt in the Bible) The Big D appeals to the anger and fear INSIDE Imperius- suggesting there is something sinister hidden in him that Diablo can manipulate.

Before the Fall of man (according to Christian theology) there was nothing dark in mankind- that came later- a "sin nature" and JC never had it at any time...

Sooooooo the link isn't the Bible (tho it has echos of it I'm sure) but rather more mainstream stories like Star Wars etc.

    So there! ;)

Suggest still make cool names as i predict that Blizz will create the possibility of options for either tag or toon names to show in game... in the future...

Battle tag = Moot#1234 or something - thus:

    MootWizz
    MootBarb
    MootHunts
    MootMonk &
    DrMoot

Then add a HC for 5 more bleh names ....

    The end.

I dont like this either but meh the gameplay is the main thing.

For all those saying. "How can good/angels wake the dead". Read the quote below, it is possible.
Combined with the fact, justice will full upon man, it's a pretty high chance this is tyrael.

"The walking dead are unique to sanctuary and are not created in the burning hell,s but they can be awakened from their morbid sleep by activities of demons and angels. "

    - book of cain.

Great spot. I think the case for the fallen star being an angel is pretty strong. Especially with this quote supporting that angelic activity can awaken the dead. The crater is decked out in blue. In the bible there is a play on words between angels and stars. In Revelation when Satan is cast down his tail swings thru a third of the "stars" and they fall with him- most see this as a clear symbol of angels = star. I know D3 isnt set in the background of Christianity but it does lean heavily on it for inital inspiration.

posted a message on 4 weeks until i beat inferno
What's the point of beating the game in 5 days, 2 weeks RL time or whatever? It is only a measure of how little other parts of life u have IMO ...

A REAL achievement/race if u wanna rush would be to post 2 screen shots when u finish inferno - 1 of your toon and hours played and one of the achieve ... who cares on what date u do it? Some dude with no life and time off work/school etc may well do it in 2-3 weeks if they play heaps each day.

Also, to race thru means u don't really stop to smell the virtual roses... not exploring all areas, cellars etc... personally- it is a dimished play experience to do this i think... Hell, I'll go on my main till probably lvl 30 then probably start my first HC toon and all the other classes- then back onto the main (which will be focussed on steady progression).

    My 2 cents worth...
