Skill system is looking good, the visuals aren't very appealing yet with the demonic tree. I get the concept but it doesn't flow very well. Not a huge issue.
BUT. please PLEASE 100% SCRAP the Ancestral/Demonic/Angelic Powers idea. It will only end up being tedious and create poor choices based on those specific stats on gear. I get whoever came up with it probably thinks they are a genius and its "new" or "inventive".. but its not. Its making gear too much of an emphasis instead of skills and their combinations. how skills work, their synergies, the points put into them and their effects should be 99% of the D4 teams focus.

"Cosmetic items will have an effect to the mentality behind the player"
-huh? you mean because players can go "look at my shiny wings i bought with real money! im so kewl!". This isn't effecting anyone's mentality that isn't 12 years old. 99.9% of people will not care about cosmetic MTX, which is why i mentioned XP because that would be the only way people would or should actually care. What the company ultimately chooses to do with their money is up to them but at least some of it is guaranteed to go into future sequels and/or improvements. That's how all video game company's work.

everything else looks fine.
but blizzard said MTX will only be for cosmetic items. Which have zero effect on actual gameplay. if they randomly add XP-boosts or items for money THEN people would rage. That's something that only belongs in phone games. (or no where).
as for you ironically pointing out: "microtransaction will speed up the process of content coming out faster, and its a good way to support the games development and give us a foundation for DLCs or Expansions"
>this is an extremely good argument for cosmetic MTX. and your rebuttal is literally, "no! they probably won't! its sh**!" . didn't put much thought into this part of your thread, did you?

Maybe not *beta*, but i think we can at least hope it to enter Alpha by the end of 2021. Maybe in the February 2021 Blizzconline update they will give us a better idea if they are "close" or still another year away. But i think we can at least bank on a 2022 release as the *latest* possible release unless it hits giant delays like D3.

ya i remember too man. i came to this website everyday and had tons of conversations about D3 years before it came out. This was THE site to visit for any diablo related news, even more so than blizzard's own website. Now its the opposite. This forum (as a whole) is 99% dead and blizzards D3 forum is constantly blowing up with D4 conversations and news.
I definitely prefer this website's feel and layout to blizzards. but if you want to actually talk with a bunch of people, this isn't the place anymore and won't be again. The creators of the site clearly stopped caring about growth a long time ago and are just keeping this site alive on life-support. lol

honestly i like this idea. BUT, i feel like blizzard is going the lazy-casual route and "dumbing down" stats in general instead of expanding on them. this really frustrated me with the update and i REALLY hope it changes before release. Give us back complicated stats! We aren't kids! the game is called "devil" ffs. lol
PS. i didn't realize these forums are mostly 'dead'. But the Blizzard D3 forums are extremely active with discussion of D4. you should copy-paste this there for more feedback. Here you might get 2-3 comments over a month lol.

Really? Well that would be fine with me. I'm not a fan of the paladin lol. But i looove the necro. I'll be sad if i have to wait for an expansion or worse... a DLC to get the necro again
Ya i keep hearing this too. I *hope* they announce both remaining classes... but i suspect they will hold back even if it is done in order to keep the hype train at maximum.

“Speaking of which, our next update will take place during BlizzConline, rather than in blog form. We’ve read speculation about what it could be and want to ensure you that it is something chunky indeed. Without spoiling the surprise, Iet’s just say it involves a new version of the campfire scene we showed you last BlizzCon.”
-Q4 2020 update (https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23583664/diablo-iv-quarterly-update-december-2020)
Literally ruins the surprise in the same sentence. lol
but im excited to see the final 2 classes before release. All the
rumors said it was the classic Amazon and Paladin. But is that for sure
and are they the exact classes most people want to see? I think so. I
missed the amazon in D3 and thought the crusader was a poor excuse for a
paladin type class.

So I'm obsessed with 2 things. Junk food and fitness. These 2 don't mix very well (and less and less as i age :D), so i developed a system where i eat horrifically-healthy for a few weeks (allll the green stuff) and do extra cardio.. and then for 2-3 days straight i will eat like its my last days on earth. Get fast food 4-5 times in a single day, buckets of ice cream, multiple bags of candy. its like that scene at the end of Dodge Ball bad, "f**kin chuck norris..".
Diabetes warnings aside, do you have any ideas for my upcoming cheat fest? So far i only have:
1. chipotle
2. popeyes
2. royal pin donuts
3. 7/11 run: sour patch kids, sour straws, slim jims, mixed slurpee
4. large pizza (not sure of which place yet)
Fast food places i dont enjoy: mcdonalds, burger king, arbys,

yes i noticed this too. I'm assuming this was on purpose due to the shadow-clone theme. The shadow-clones seem extremely OP and pylons are OP in general so it makes sense. If there were too many pylons you could just constantly have a shadow clone(s) 24/7

Assignment? For school? i wish i couldve done assignments on diablo back in HS....
oh and i would literally pay $100 for D4 if blizzard for some reason demanded it. But realistically i don't see it being above $50 on release. D3 was only $40 on release and $60 for their "collectors edition". They'll most likely repeat those prices or raise them slightly.
