IIRC, they said something about legendaries being able to drop in any difficulty or level, for example, that a Leoric Signet could drop at level 60, and it would have level 60 stats.
So, I imagine the same could happen the other way around, a level 30 Skorn, why not.
Well, strictly speaking, a fanatic lacks of any type of objective criticism about the subject, we "fans" are just players who like the game, well, at least most of us.
A secondary issue here is the times Blizzard takes to fix stuff.
Let say, the game ships with some important design failures, we unfortunately cannot say anymore: "it's OK, Blizzard will patch it ASAP because 110% of the users are pointing it as a problem that must and can be fixed in a timely manner".
We all know how much time Blizzard took to fix minor(like, id all) stuff, this lack of feedback transformed into action, is sadly a deal breaker.
So, it's not only about the state of the game when it releases, but what happens after that is what scares, at least me, most.
Tried MH, didn't like it. On the other hand, I downloaded a pirated copy of Van Helsing, played it for ~40 mins, uninstalled, and bought the pack that contains the game + the DLC's for U$S13.39 from Steam, the game is excellent for what I could appreciate, totally worth a buy. I specially like the companion's AI.
If you eliminate the chance of customizing your character though a skill build (D2, PoE, every other single ARPG out there) then the itemization must be phenomenal, it has to be, otherwise, the game gets incredibly boring incredibly fast.
I believe, that the idea of giving us no choice of how skills work, was to make a viable revenue through the RMAH, I can't honestly think of anything else. Now, with the AH gone, give us more options, let us level/alter/enhance the skills without needing a goddamn item, let us spend our points whatever we want, let us actually build something, that is the most amazing part of an ARPG, to build characters.

What is going on here... Shaggy and Bleu not going all fan mode activated?... I'm impressed.

What's worrying, is the radio silence from Blizzard about any thread that is not in the "what's your favorite gear color?" category.

This smart loot probably isn't a bad idea, the only way to know for sure is to test it, and see how it feels.

Guys.. don't try to reason with Bleu42.. it's a waste of time, he is a fanatic, it's a lost cause.

Word of advice about VH, don't play heroic difficulty, the game gets incredibly boring because you can't kill anything at a decent pace.

Gonna give it a try, I don't mind the modern theme if the game mechanics is good enough.

Why do you put in the same bag negative posts and trolls?.

I didn't understand a single word of what you just said.

Well, finally they decided to make followers somewhat useful and not a moving aura.
I hope they don't scrap this too.

The problem with this title is quite simple:
If you eliminate the chance of customizing your character though a skill build (D2, PoE, every other single ARPG out there) then the itemization must be phenomenal, it has to be, otherwise, the game gets incredibly boring incredibly fast.
