"mmo" stands for "massively multiplayer online" in the gaming world. It's usually with the contraction rpg (mmorpg), and with it, the letters stand for "massively multiplayer online role playing game".

See, what I was trying to explain was that, I think, it might be better if choosing a side doesn't affect the character classes. As in.... you can choose to be a sorceress.... and then, you can choose wether or not to fight for the side of Heaven or Hell. So, you can either be a Heaven Sorc, or a Hell Sorc.

That's a good, possible start. But, shouldn't it start in Harrogath? That's where Act 5 ended in D2.

Wow! That's a great idea, kingpin! I love that idea! You're definitely right, what I loved about Diablo 1 are some of the small elements of gameplay they have there. Ressurect scrolls, books that contain knowledge to be able to use magic. I think they should be able to do that. Your character should be able to find books that contain knowledge to the most rare spells out there like "blood star".

That's also a good idea, Rice. Another good variation to that would be to get something else that's extra, like a mount (meaning, a horse or other animals to ride). To be honest, now that I think about it, the only good thing about having a mount in the Diablo world is that it's something cool to show off. So, I think a good achievement for reaching a high level is that you'd be able to summon a mount, just something you can do to parade around.

Well, that's when you pay Death the toll then. That's what happens anyway isn't it? You'd have to pay Death the toll to live again?

Well, what I think would happen is that... now that the Worldstone has been destroyed, the realms would be able to shift around one another, kind of like a merge between Earth, Heaven, and Hell.

Even though they didn't quite tell us what the Worldstone is for; from what I've perceived from the game, I think the Worldstone is something that keeps most entities (Hell/Heaven), away from the mortal realm. That's why Diablo needs a body to possess each time (as with the Prime Evils).

Well, now that it's destroyed, I think we'd start to see more demons and angels. That's why I think it might be Heaven vs. Hell. Rather, it might even be Heaven vs. Hell vs. Mortal Realm.

From what we've seen, there were mortals that sided with Hell like Nilathak and Lazarus. There were even angels that sided with Hell like Izual. And well, most of the humans were basically siding with Heaven. So, I think the Diablo 3 creators might go towards that perspective. The perspective that humans are about to pick which side they'd belong to.

After all, that's why the Angels and Demons were interested with the Mortal Realm. They believe that the influence of the Mortal Realm will help them sway the tide to their favour, because the war between Heaven and Hell is currently in a stalemate. So to win, both sides need the favour of the Mortal Realm. Whoever the mortals side with, is most likely to win.

Yes, that's a good idea. Quite practical, actually. You should be able to equip a belt for them then, that way, you could place the potions he'd use there. If his life is below 50%, that's when he'd use a life potion.

But, I really think that they should bring ressurect scrolls back, that way, we can just ressurect them. So, it won't be such a loss if they do indeed die.

Wow, you pose a good statement.

It never truly occured to me that they might end the Diablo series in a trilogy. But you are right. Although I'd want for the Diablo series to keep going, I'm not so sure if they can continue with the storyline forever.

And it is quite hard to out-do the preceding games to each Diablo. I think they'd have a tough enough job to follow Diablo2:LOD.

See, I'm just a little confused on that part. I thought if a game was pay to play, that you can't play single player in it.

A friend of mine owns WoW. I wanted to give it a shot to see if it was worth buying, I don't think I saw a single player option. Anyway, games like Diablo and WoW are much more fun if played with others, I think.

To be quite honest, I'm still undecided, but I'm leaning towards not buying it if it's pay to play. I just think that whole pay to play idea is dumb. It hurts the consumers, I think.

You've already payed to buy the game right? Well, didn't you buy that game so you can play it? I wouldn't want to keep paying for it. It's a little hard to explain. It's more on ethics to me.
