Okay, so I played the open beta without a single hiccup, my computer is above spec to run the game... I completely uninstalled all visible and hidden d3beta/bnet nonsense after beta ended...
Today I've run the installer three times and every time it seems to install fine, allows me to open it to the login screen, but from there ANY click ANYWHERE on the screen crashes to desktop. Not really sure whats happening and haven't seen posts on the official forum or otherwise of this happening to anyone else.
Any ideas? I don't have my CE yet, so I'm not irrationally pissed at the moment, but I'd like to get it straightened before it arrives.
four digits makes over like 4million combinations ... i am not a mathamagician but 4 to the power of 9 sound right math nerds ? some one out there will let us know, you can count on that.
Four digits of only numbers makes 10000 combinations.... 0000 + 1-9999... Nothing specifically mathematical about the approach. Thats why you need both the number and name to add the friend, limitless combinations at that point.
Could it be on a scheduel? Sure. Would it really benefit them in any way? Doubtful. If anything if it were schedueled they would want the 100% to be much closer to launch to keep people going to the site.
You'll actually have to create an EU account to be able to do this. That means you'll have to choose a country to pretend to live in, and have a way of paying in the chosen country's currency (perhaps Euros?). Also note that you won't be able to transfer any characters from EU to US servers after it goes live there.
This isn't WoW nor SC2. So you don't have to have an European license to play on the European servers. Though as Enjeh has said, they might have a restriction on US accounts not being able to log in until Midnight Pacific. Though I will probably play on the European servers if I get it installed early and can play. And by early I mean about an hour.
They have stated several times already that Global Play will NOT be available at release to prevent overcrowding on overseas servers. Thus if you want to play on EU release, you need your key attached to an EU account until Global Play is activated.
I don't believe that's how it works. Because there are multiple instances in which only one dog can be resurrected.
Well, that is how it works. It's a 35% chance no matter what for every proc, but the probability of one succeeding after the other is just like the result above. Rolling a die is one seperate instance followed by another seperate instance. Rolling 4 dice at the same time however, that's another matter.
35% chance for 1 Dog, 12.25% chance for 2 Dogs, 4.28% chance for 3 Dogs and a 1.5% chance for 4 Dogs.
The problem with it is that it doesn't provide the chance for each...
Ex: The chance for (Edit: "atleast") atleast one dog out of all four rolls happening is MUCH more likely than 35%.
I'm not a math wiz either so I can't exactly clarify much more :P.
Edit: It seems like hes looking for a total chance for all four possibilities out of 100%
Plocer is wrong that the CE dyes drop in world, but he is right about items reverting to default colors. It's some where in the blue posts.
He is wrong about them reverting when dropped or traded in game, they only revert when put up for auction, and they are unique, not the pale or rogue dyes.

No, dyes are removed from items when you put them on the AH.

Absolutely, but the dye color is removed. Dyes are not removed if an item is dropped/traded, though.

Fairly sure it'll have some use as it seems to have a 'per account' flag. If it was just an easter egg they wouldn't likely care if they limited how many you could have. Then again my logic may be faulty there.
