    Hey archon friend , i loved archon aswell and was the only thing i played the last couple of hundred hours on my wiz. BUT i have glad news , ray of frost with the offhandLight of Grace, is like archon on crack :D , its like playing archon and you still get other skills to use , get one and once again feel the joy of blasting down everything :D .

    playing Ray of frost myself, you should try out black ice , its amazing together with black hole . also going for area damage on utility helps out alot . currently im also using the amulet that vortexes all the mobs and all in all its an amazing spec.

    i got a decent andy helm ( not very super good though , still hoping for the wizard hat that do frost nova/diamond skin , seems like they never drop though) , but i feel that i need the ApoC for easy farming , if i would go higher torment levels i would probably use it

    the thing about is that half the players were in it for the pvp , just because some are doesn't make the gameseries pure pve.
    I have had a lot of fun with diablo , but when they announced "no pvp , but we will probably have it out before the end of the year" i was shocked . How hard could it be to put in a casual pvp system ? . And now this , i was ok with dueling before they started with all they're hype about how cool pvp must be and we probably wont have dueling cause it ain't good enough . and now it is good enough ?
    all in all , i enjoy the game but this is seriously a bummer

    i like the fact that you use celestial orb instead of tap the source , imo it works a lot better if you have good positioning , my build is kind of similar http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/khemintiri-1353/hero/38096 , although your's looks a lot like mine did before . when you gear up i recommend going illusionist/teleport fracture , it really makes kiting and bursting a lot easier. arcane dynamo is also a good passive combined with improved archon if you are going that route instead of venom hydra when you increase your dps a bit

    as he said , farn a3-4 hell for 8-10 hours and you should have upgrades that should last you through a2 inferno and for a1 farming. also don't dismiss defensive stats so easely

    The mechanic of the skill was working as intended. The DPS of the skill was FUBAR, and that's blizzard's fault. Explain to me why nether moves so slow (just like ball lightning) if it wasn't meant to hit multiple targets multiple times (just like ball lightning). All Blizzard had to do was nerf the damage. Instead, they removed the multi-hit mechanic (the entire reason for the skill moving so slow in the first place) and broke the skill's intended design. I don't see how what I'm saying is at all difficult to comprehend.

    So nether does the same damage as basic un-runed elemental arrow but moves half as fast just to be different? Glad we cleared that up.
