I just wanted to get your opinion on what I'm running with. Anything you would do differently but keeping with the same theme? Not sure the weapons I should be shooting for, debating between fulminator or 300th spear for offhand. I'm trying to find an SOJ. I like to do group rifts, usually T4. Thanks for your help.

Nice man! You actually just made this game a lot more enjoyable for me. Previously I was going max damage and getting 1 shot by everything... I felt like there was no point playing because I could get harder hitting gear but it didn't solve the 1 shot problem.

Do you have gloves and rings with IAS/resist/dex/vit!? Your gear is pretty baller

Cookiee, that gear is amazing. You have a really good balance of damage and survivability. Do you still get 1 shotted by most mobs in act 3/4? Can you please post what items you use if its not too much trouble? Thank you.

I cant wait for bliz to "tune" inferno to make it more fun. I have a DH in act3 inferno and it's just not fun to keep playing him because of this gear check. I feel like it's not even a gear check though, it's just that bliz didn't fully test inferno. I loved LOD back in the day and could play it for hours because it was addicting and fun. I really have no motivation to log in ATM because inferno is just a die fest for crappy gear. I am confident bliz will fix this though and we can all grind the shit out of rare packs and diablo for some phatty loot that we can trade/sell.

How do you guys deal with those lasher frog guys in act 3. Their tongue attack 1 shots me and they are too fast to kite. I'm talking about the rare pack ones, the normal one will one shot me but I can kill them in a SS.

Espy- I had a little less than 400 resists to all for that chains, or you can get over 33k hp.

I'm at 90k dps with sharpshooter. 1k dps bow with about 150% crit damage, two 15% increased attack speed rings, 1600ish dex, 26000 hp.

Crit damage and sharpshooter boost the numbers retarded high.

Starting in act 2 of inferno you get 1-2 shotted by anything. I stacked resists and got up to roughly 400 while maintaining some okay damage and 33k health but it didnt make a difference at all so I went back to my pure DPS gear. You will see it gets frustrating spending a lot of gold on survival gear then finding out that it doesnt mean shit at the moment, hopefully something changes.

I hold onto my resist gear to easily beat the Butcher, his chains attack hits for 33k and its not likely you will dodge/SS all of them.

I'm kinda at a stalemate. I'm on the second quest in act3 but I really dont want to spend the time it takes to wipe over and over. It's really not fun and not what I thought diablo3 would be like. Farming act 1 inferno isnt bad but the gear u get really isnt that great.

I predict bliz will make changes to make resist gear and armor matter more for acts 2,3,4 but for now its pointless.

In inferno you get 1 shot by almost anything, just need to kite and smoke screen your face off.

Keep in mind for killing the butcher in Inferno you want at least 33k HP so you can survive his chains. I did this by changing out all my gems to vit. It's crazy how much gold you can get in inferno with 5 stacks of valor.

I'm currently at 29k HP with 1500ish dex. All of my gear except my xbow has vit and dex.

Also, I use a 2h xbow for the crazy crits with sharpshooter. 50k crits with frost arrow are nice when you're kiting. 1H xbow would be good for +disc. BTW anyone know the max disc we can have?

Dont spend over 200k on the AH for a weapon IMO. You can find some good ones for way less that will get you into act2 inferno where you can farm some really good stuff.

I use devouring arrow on my level 59 DH. It's just my personal preference. On boss fights and for kiting elites I feel like it puts out some nice burst damage.

I have a level 56 DH and just got a 300 dps 2h xbow with +50% crit damage to it. I'm using the passive that increases chance to crit by 3% every sec until 1 sec after you crit. I'm also using the passive to increase 2h xbow crit dmg by 50%. My damage starts at 5000 and works its way up to 9000 at 100% crit chance. I crit for a lot and i crit often. Just letting you guys know because I have been having a lot of fun critting everything for an insane amount.

From my brief experience in the beta I was using two blue 1hand xbows over rare xbows i found because the blues had higher damage modifiers. With enough farming though you will probably come across a rare with equal damage and more stats (hatred regen/vitality/agi) to make it way better than the blues.
