posted a message on Introducing the Paragon System
my first thought (besides of how awesome this is) is that, in this same patch they nerfed max health of elites to 75% in coop, they buffed pretty much all skills, so at default 60, we wont really be testing out how uber we are/were for long, as soon as you gain paragon levels, you gain stats, thus doing even more dps....so the new cool dps changes are just the beginning

Currently, the game is not a challenge, inferno is being cleared in many different ways, including in blues, or budget gear, so now that we can gain additional levels...the game will be even more faceroll, quickly, not only are we going to be destroying everything at 60 just from the patch notes alone, but gaining more stats as you go with paragon...you will quickly outpace the mobs, in any act, there are already dh's doing 150k dps (rough estimate maybe even more) and that was PRE 1.04....

So i guess my concern is that yay we can level up more, but it will be against the same old boring mobs, mobs we will be 1 shotting, so at that point it comes down to killing as efficiently as possible, maximizing xp gain, and we may even see bosses ran more now, if they give more exp per kill, i could see people doing a warden/butcher run over and over...

The idea was to make paragon levels last as long or take as long as it did to get to 99 in diablo 2...but if we remember from all those years ago, the exp to get from 98 to 99 alone took weeks of baal runs, so in the end we may be doing 1000's of runs per level again, basically bringing us back to efficient boss/area runs, over and over...and over...

the ONLY thing different now in d3 is the elite mobs and the 15% extra xp from each stack of neph buff, so the grind wont be AS long but just as brutal...so now they expect us to spend the next few months on this new grind, to get to 99 paragon, so we dont need mf gear anymore, but by the time we get there, our gear/stats will be so rediculously overpowered, there may not be a real point even then.

so...we have 100's of hours ahead of us killing the same weak mobs/bosses, and as we gain levels, it gets easier, 99 will be a joke unless they scale the mobs/bosses up, there has to be something fixed/changed, currently we will be gods at this rate.

posted a message on $3 for 1mil gold?
well my first thought is, you realize that the gold selling bots, they are/have been making 1000's of dollars in pure profit for months now, so now that you can buy gold, i imangine a lot of them can easily just be like a normal player, and buy up the cheaper gold for real money, and then double it up and sell it on thier site, i'm sure there is a profit margin, and some have figured out all the %, but maybe its a different angle on this topic, or maybe i am missing something

so if anything its letting the gold companies gain even more gold, quicker if they so choose, they can control the whole thing now, and will continue to make profit either way...so in the end blizz made a huge leap forward, but really had a few step backwards

posted a message on iLVL means nothing in this game? Blizzard Trolling?
k maybe i wasnt clear enough, i dont have a problem with random, and just so you know, i have been playing diablo since diablo 1, back in the dial up days of aol, yes that far back. I put hundreds of hours into it, hacked it, cleared it, legit and non-legit, made my own items, same for d2, played it inside and out, you all remember jamella's item editor? such a beautiful piece of software that was =)

k my point of my rant, was that i am fine with amount of gear dropping, fine with random being random, thats all been said a billion times by a billion other people. My problem is, i feel the system behind the affixes, is flawed. I think they should buff or increase the mininum range of affixes.

For example, if you have a maxed out 62 item say with 100 dex, ok thats great, now the same item, drops and it says its a 63, it has 110 dex, because it rolled the lowest it can on the stat range for a 63, ok so your "upgrade" on that 63 is 10 dex? i'm not saying these numbers are accurate, obviously, but what i am getting at, is they put pride in saying oh gee a 60-62 can outroll a 63...and yet a 63 is the best, so they made the "good" rolls on 63's extremely rare...so all the 63's we find are 99% junk...the 60-62's can and usually are better, so what is the point in 63's? the 0.5% chance at getting 100 dex rather than 10 dex? you see my point?

the other problem is, the affixes themselves arent interesting, and mostly useless, as someone else posted a response on the blizzard forums post i made yesterday, here is the quote

"The problem stems from the fact that there is only 1 real way to build your gear set. There are the big three stats. Primary, Vitality, Resist All. Then from there there are a few other desirable stats Crit Chance, Crit Damage, IAS, LoH, Life%. And then some filler stats like Lifesteal, Life Regen, MF, GF, single resists, cct. And then a bunch of mostly worthless stats like +health globe and +pickup radius.

The way the game is designed, the big three are very necessary on almost every piece of gear, and you certainly want 2 out of 3, unless it has a lot of something like LoH and Crit Chance/Crit Damage.

That really limits what you can do gear wise. On pieces like chest, Legs, belt, and boots where you can pretty much only get those 3, there is not a lot of room for customization.

Stats like chance to fear or stun on hit could be cool and desirable, but the % is WAY too low, and not on most pieces of gear, so it is effectively worthless. More unique effects, with powerful abilities that actually have a chance to go off would add a lot to the gear system."

So then you have useless stats like pickup radius, which is useful for farming, but not for progression, health globes, thorns etc, these are just filler, which its the same in d2, however, the chance of rolling items with these affixes, is pretty high, and again we just vendor/salvage all these except for main stats/survival stats...yes thats the game how its supposed to be, but i think there was/has to be a better solution, with years of development, and knowing what d2 did, they didnt bother to change it up some at all

also items having resist all, and another resist in another affix spot, like 40 resist all, and 30 fire resist...i see no point in that wasted affix spot, that could of been another stat, why not roll it into resist all, little tweaks like that would go a long ways

also bows with intellect, wizard gear with str, i guess more filler "random" loot, but we could do without those too, narrow the loot range, less random junk, still keep a lot of random, but smart random, there is a place for random junk we vendor, and the system currently is not where its at.

hopefully cleared it up a little, but I'll still get called a noob/never played diablo/add insult here...but i try

posted a message on iLVL means nothing in this game? Blizzard Trolling?
i posted a very long rant about this topic yesterday, in both these forums and official forums, i doubt it got read, but basically i think that the stat budget in d3 is the crux of the whole system. Its not really about the drop rates, we are getting plenty of loot (after they fix the 1.03 "bug" this/next week anyways for act3/4 but thats besides the point)

I really think they need to take a LOT of the randomness out of the system, gut out all the useless junk, filler stats, instead of giving us pickup radius, health globes, extra resists on top of resist all, they should either lower the chance of those filler stats, and give more items better stats overall, or something, so that we arent just getting 95 out of 100 rares that we vendor...i know the good loot should be rare, and awesome when you get it...but...i feel the game is nickel and diming us at times, esp for people starting to gear up..WITHOUT using the AH

for example, my dh, has slowly been getting upgrades, but the ones he has gotten, the so called sweet 63's, are usually just a few stats above my 61's or even 60's...so its like yay i gained 10 dexterity and 10 vitality...but it should be like oh sweet i gained 50 dex and 40 vitality, nice one! a 63 should be meaningful, base stats should be buffed across the board on all loot in my opinion.

The difference of a max 62, and a first starter 63 is so mininmal its a joke...then you roll a 63 with +200 dex or more on an item and its like holy crap, but those moments are so extremely rare, like the % of the roll to get that sweet drop, is so little that you get +10 dex items like 99% of the time...every time...and lucky to get that when it does happen.

They need to fix up the disparity between ilvls, the ilvl i guess is fine system although not really, cuz they did it half assed to begin with, if you are going to put something like this in a diablo game, at least have it make some sense, and give us something to go on, its like they put this system in with the least amount of affixes, and the lowest stat ranges, its proof that they didnt think people would clear inferno so fast, so the items are all so weak baseline, because they thought we would be farming for months to clear inferno, so the item upgrades didnt have to be very big...

But in reality, we want bigger better items, and a reason to farm and feel our characthers are aucutally improving, and be able to do that without hitting the AH constantly, we should be able to find amazing loot on solo farm runs, or with friends, and truly have a great experience in finding loot that you can drop on your toon right there, and be like man i just gained 4k dps, that was sweet!...those moments dont/havent happened...like ever currently.

I also think they should of maybe tossed gold find and magic find together into 1 affix called treasure finding, it would of saved tons of overhead and items in the game to have 2 sets of gear to 2 different things, there are items with both mf/gf and everyone needs/wants gold, so why not just roll both into 1 affix, saving a affix slot for another useful stat, its simple things like that, would have improved loot a lot...but they just went with the tried and true method of d2 to be safe, and it just doesnt work 12 years later.

I also think instead of having +resist all and then +fire resist on an item, why not just roll it into 1? whats point of stacking any singular resist? there is none, so why not just do resist all and be done, or when an item rolls fire resist by itself, fine, but if it rolls both resist all and say fire resist...have it roll the extra into that resist all stat...makes more sense, not hard to do?

sigh long post is long...i'll end it here.

posted a message on An idea to fix items in d3
with all the discussion about drop rates, and getting good loot lately, i came to the realization of something while sitting in game earlier today farming, and finding crappy bows with intellect on them.

I think its not an issue so much of item level or even drop rates, items are dropping fine, its the affixes and QUALITY of the loot that is the problem. Its been a long time since i played diablo 2...but i do remember (correct me and my memory wrong if needed) that even if crappy loot dropped, it at least usually had some sort of redeeming factor in it, be it stats or some kind of ability, that made you at least consider keeping it or a minor upgrade, it wasnt optimal, but it was something.

Currently, when we get to inferno and start getting geared up, once we hit a threshold on gear, the only the gear that is upgrades, is the realllly expensive stuff on ah, at that point, NONE of the stuff that drops is anywhere near good or deemed as an upgrade, as we have hit the wall on stats, because the gear we find simply is to weak, to progress to the next act. the rolls for better stats are terrible.

And i think this is the reason why no good loot drops, the base affixes and stats are way to weak, to be competetive and allow us to further progress. I am fine with farming lots of rares, its not the quanity but it should be the quality.

I know that everything is random in diablo series, yes we are just rolling the dice for the stats...but i think the base stats on all ilvls is to low, or rolls to low...i think instead of increasing number of crappy drops, they should buff the base underlining stats of drops, fix it up a bit, clean it up, so that even if you get 100 rares in a day, instead of 3-4 of them decent small upgrades, you also get 1-2 BIG upgrades, i feel the game is nickel and diming those who dont use the AH

i find upgrades all the time on my dh, 63's even, but the quality of those 63's if you are farming solo and not using ah is crap. I may gain a few dex, a few vit, maybe get a few more % of attack speed, and thats best case scenario..and i maybe find 1-2 of those a day, if that.

If you go to the AH you see items that are huge upgrades across the board, with every stat perfect, but they are 3-10 million+ each, even farming gold at 300k an hour at best (without finding 1 mill items along the way) you are going to be farming for days for..1...item....1

For example, a ilvl 60 item can have the same stats as a 63, the only difference is, it has a chance to roll higher stats...has a chance...but...currently i feel that chance is so tiny that it spews out 63's that are 10 stats higher than a 60 item or even lower...so yeah we can farm 63's in inferno act 1 now! problem is, a 63 is no better than a 60, and the RARE chance we get something with 100+ more stat on it over a 60, is so far and few between, its just a waste of time to hope for better stats, there is no fun in it, no driving force to hope for +100 rather than +5 to dex (for example)

with d2 at least when you farmed you knew you were going to get some good items, base items, something to start from, and you knew you were going to get some sweet items, you dreamed of the GOOD stuff, but knew it would drop...in d3 you know the 60's are the same as the 63's just how they are rolled, and the rolls are retarded 99% of the time.

They should make some of the affixes way less random, close the gap on the item levels themselves, make 51-60 drop less, buff the stats, so even if we find a 55 item it may be a small upgrade rather than just vendor trash. Inferno should drop the higher end stuff, like 55+ and the stuff starting at 55 shouldnt be so dumb in stats that its so much of a waste.

Currently i just vendor everything under 60, and salvage 60+ for the mats, the ONLY items worth ANYTHING below 60 ish are rings and amulets and only if they are rare usually, a 51 ring or amulet is usually extremely good, because rings and amulets are already pretty rare.

They need to remove wrong stats on items, yes its random, we get that, and yes its meant that you get str and intellect bows, but there is just way to much filler, imo, way to much wasted itemezation in this game, and thats why so many people are having issues...the loot just isnt realized yet, needs buffed not only in stats per "tier" but removal of possible rolls, such as intellect on a bow...wizard/wd do not, and will not ever use bows, str and dex on wizard gear?

instead of putting useless stats on class specific items, just lower chance at stats we want or give the better stuff more affixes, remove the clutter, buff from the ground up, buff all tiers by a lot, buff the %'s...give us GOOD loot again, from DROPS rather than the AH...will solve almost everything.

give us a frickin bone here blizzard.

posted a message on Patch 1.0.3 Official Patch Notes
no i dont just faceroll on my dh, i am struggling just like everyone else, currently end of act 2, and call it i suck, learn to play but i feel i cant progress without a little better gear, i tried belial a few times, shot down, so i re-rolled witch doctor had a blast lvling him to 60 in the last week or so.

I wasnt trying to cry, i just saying this patch changes so much, with the nerf to nether tentacle, we will just have to adjust and try different builds...which is the point of the change, if you look at all the top builds, or even builds in general every dh takes nether tentacle, because it hits the hardest, it aoe's and its easily spammable, hits multiple times on bosses especially, it was a great ability, its just that, we had to use it to be viable, for damage dealing ability hatred spender.

i used and love frost arrow up to inferno, but in inferno, since the mobs are even higher level, and have even more resists, it hits for crap? at least it did for me in act 2, barely hits for anything...in nightmare/hell it tore mobs up, but as soon as i switched to it in act 2 inferno, i cant kill anything hardly with it, it slows mobs like 1 second, its great for kiting, sure, but for all out dps/killing..its very weak in inferno

in comes tentacles, it kills all, fast, without regard to resists, hits the same and multiple times, so why is there any choice atm? personally i am going to go with some sort of rocket build, sentry rockets, rapid fire with rockets rune, ballistics, i am writing it all down right now, while i wait for servrs to come back up

grenades are terrible, bola shot is hit and miss on the stun (diminishing returns on stun in inferno?) there is a few decent ones like multi-shot rockets rune build, it hits for 120k+ crits for me, but its slow, takes up a bit of hatred, but it could be viable with right gear, just more of a hit and run build, rather than spam tentacles...its all good i guess, change things up some.

so just saying, this patch just sucks, not just a dh problem, but it didnt help the situation that they nerfed dh's some on top of it all.

posted a message on Patch 1.0.3 Official Patch Notes
all i can say is...just...wow...patch 1.03: DONOTWANT...so many senseless stupid nerfs, they are taking this game in the wrong direction, even more so now, they are making mindless killing machines out of us, forcing us to farm dem items and sell on ah so they can make thier cut, they are killing any sense of exploration, interaction, now its just going to be endless champ farm runs, which i guess is a good thing, but with the nerfs to all this stuff, its like they gave us our cake, but we cant enjoy it, its got a bad taste in our mouth, knowing what we have had to sacrifice to get it...why cant they leave well alone...some of the "developers" need to be fired, or educated on proper game balance/making chances that make sense, and are resonable

    NERFS - DUMB
    1. Skill Rune – Nether Tentacles - Tentacles will now only hit each target once

So they nerfed this skill, didnt see that one coming, no really, i didnt. That really saddens me, the only real viable hatred spender in inferno, forces us to change builds, but with the ias nerf, dh's are even more screwed, 2 small changes and leaves us struggling again in inferno, yesterday i was fine...we will see how f'ed up my dh is today...sigh

    2. Magic Find will no longer be considered when looting objects in the environment such as chests, barrels, vases, pots, and corpses

Ok this is one of the absolute dumb "fixes" they have done since release, sure people stack mf gear to open a chest and reap the rewards, but seriously, thats just so retarded, now chests are near worthless, even if they occasionally give you extra blue or whatever, whats the point in even having them drop any rare loot? at least with mf gear you had some chance at something

Pony land probably had something to do with it, i'm sure, i liked doing my cloud runs...but now not only do chests drop junk with no mf gear bonus, the costs of deaths has shot up, so its not like you could do death runs on those clouds anymore anyways...stupid is stupid

    3. Unique monsters in Hell and Inferno difficulty are no longer guaranteed to drop two Magic items when slain

Well there goes sarkoth/festering woods dungeons/any dungeon with guaranteed rare monster...sigh they nerfed the easy farm spots...not super suprising, but now all the bots gotta find other spots i guess.

    4. Weapon racks will no longer drop weapons 100% of the time

I wasnt aware that they dropped 100% of the time anyways, and with the nerfs a few patches ago to drop only whites...why does it matter? isnt the purpose of a weapon rack to drop...weapons? *scratches head*

    5. Destructible objects no longer have a chance to drop items, and will only have a small chance to drop gold when destroyed

This, along with #4 on my list, make no sense, why even have destructables in the game now to begin with? wouldnt it make the game run client smoother, in some small way to not even have to load all the destructibles, remove them all, save memory space somewhere? just a thought.

    6. The quality of the item for the fourth stack of Nephalem Valor from bosses has been slightly reduced

Not understanding this one, i guess it relates to how the slot thing works, rolling for each slot with 5 stacks, but if you have 4 stacks you are doing it wrong, you need 5, so maybe this is how they put the change in to say 1 less rare per boss? (from previous discussions on this patch last week)....why cant they just have said "1 less guranteed rare from a boss" the wording on this one is 100x more confusing? (unless i totally missed it)

    7. In Inferno difficulty, Siegebreaker will now gain the Reflects Damage affix

That is pretty dumb, as a dh i was planning on running siegebreaker runs with new gear, farm for 5 stack, but now i am going to have to get some life on hit, and other gear changes to survive reflect...on..a...boss...plus with the new enrage, basically a gear check...this change sucks. I guess its why they gave us free health orbs at each 25% to help us a little...but...yeah no

i had a note on here about the mortar fix but didnt read previous comments, and i like that change now. carry on.

so yeah guys 1.03 and new drops in inferno! yay we can farm now! but welcome to nerf hell, and boss enrages on every boss, and nerfed ias, and just a more crappier gameplay experience than before...because blizzard loves us!...*sarcasm* i read these notes and my first thought was might as well go back to wow, this is just getting dumber, not better.

posted a message on Tired of glas cannon!
people's logic and thought process sure do stump me at times. The underlying design behind demon hunter has been high dps ranged, and avoiding all incoming attacks, survibility, high mobility. Whether blizzard wanted it to turn out this way or not so far is debateable, they are already going to improve tons of dh's abilities in the 1.1 patch, because they want people to use more varied builds, and play the way they want to, rather than what is only viable or even close to even viable to survive through inferno.

i guess my point is, to me the class is pure glass cannon, even with stacking survivability, to me i still play my dh the same way, blasting mobs face off before they hit me, pure dps, kill or be killed, its not oh crap i suck and didnt hit key 1 fast enough, i'll just take that 1 hit to the face, but since i stacked survival gear, it wont kill this time, but derp it was a crit, i die anyways...rng ftw

so all this debate on spending millions of gold, on resistance, armor, etc, i am not sold on it, maybe not just yet, if and when they buff the class, and its core abilities that dont suck, and can make a fun build again (rather than tentacle spam) i might eventually get the "survival" gear, maybe at some point my gear will so good for dps, i could swap pieces out slowly...but...i doubt it

main problem is i am not lucky with any drops, farming act 1 day and night, has given me little to go on, i have never had more than 2 million gold at one sitting, i scraped up the 1 mill to get inferno staff pony, i twink my alts, i got full stash, both artisians level 10, i waste gold, its true, and i guess i can never see myself spending 6 million for a pair of shoulders

right now, farming gold, the best rate you can get reliably is 300k an hour, since all the nerfs etc, only other way is to farm pony and hope for good 63 drops to sell, which in itself takes pretty good gear to clear (and not just body hop the chests in mf gear) so yay for people having millions of gold who can buy said survival gear, but for most of us, that is just simply not going to happen till 1.03

i know dh's that are in act 4 inferno, no survival gear, 20k health, but 100k+ dps farming just fine, learn to play, right build for you, rather than copy and paste cuz its the one that some uber dude killed inferno diablo with and just focus on not getting hit, if you play on the edge, when every hit will kill you, you really learn how to play quicker, just takes practice, cant be lazy, takes real skill.

posted a message on Act 3 Inferno - Everything Murders Me (Halp)
yeah i am going to say that dh is about killing stuff before it kills you, if you are getting 1 shot, outside of unavoidable stuff like arcane+waller or jail when ss is out of juice (discipline) then you are doing it wrong

dh's strengths are its dps, mobility, and a few other things, makes it fast paced and fly by the seat of your pants (or however that expression goes) and arent meant to take hits or tank or anything, we die, badly...we get surrounded, we die, teleporting mobs, vortex..we die.

Point is, dh currently are "glass cannon" forget spending millions on those resist gear (which are meant for monks, dex gear) and get yourself some nice dps, get a 1k+ weapon, you just have to focus on the right build or stats to get there.

Archery, steady aim and sharpshooter are the main passives you want, tactical advantage is great too, if you swap steady aim out for it, steady is great for when you get the drop on a mob, but if its a champ with fast, they close that gap so quickly, that you lose that bonus and probably wont see it again till the next pack, its situational at best.

grab elemental arrow nether tentacles, i use evasive shot as my hatred builder, with covering fire, does amazing aoe damage, clears pots, breakables for free, and dodges every time they get in your face...its a great spec, unload tentacles till empty, trap/ss and unload evasive fires (with 2 fast 1 handers, its faster, 3.0+ attack speed is sick)

caltrops, marked for death (with hatred regen rune) and vault, and you got a nice build, simple but effective.

for stats you want to stack crit damage, attack speed, as much dex as you can get, vitality helps, but in a pure dps build, dps over everything else, you are going to die in 1 hit either way, there is no preventing that, outside of playing better, learning your class and how to play, practice, many many grueling deaths, many hours staring at that you are dead screen with 30 seconds of time to kill...but it gets better.

one last thing (long post) get some good life on hit, to counter those reflect mobs, 500+ and you should be golden, cant count many times i ripped my own face off trying to kill those reflect champs, so evil.

posted a message on farming after 1.03 patch (end of the month ish)
k so after farming act 1 inferno till my eyes bled and not getting a single thing worthy of an upgrade or sellable, for well over week and a half now, i gave up on my dh and i got to end of act 2, barely (many many repair bills) stuck on belial now (sigh)

with 1.03 though, making stuff slightly easier will be a big boon to my killing champs in act 2, as i am currently running from 90% of them as i cant kill them, my dps is to low, i suck, whatever the reason, i am struggling in any kind of farming in act 2, i completed the quests with help and luck, but as for farming i am at a wall.

here is the point of this thread though, the fact they are buffing drops, for one says to me that they are aware that drops had been to low to begin with, despite everyone saying to the contrary (fan boys, elitists etc) and that "just go farm act 1" was all everyone was saying...which is unreasonable currently, due to inferno dropping crap drops, sure you can farm butcher 5 stack over and over, but you never get any drops worthy of an upgrade, or once in awhile you get that lucky 1 mill+ item (150 hours on my dh never got ONE of those)

The main problem is though that the overlap is skewed in inferno, i expected inferno to drop 59/60 gear, even if they were random crap stats with chance at good ones, it would of been far better than the level 51 and 55 blues, even rares that we get now.

5 stack butcher...3 lvl 55 blues (junk) and 2-3 rares, lvl 55 or even 51 at times, all straight to the vendor/bs...and then...you do it again...and again...with same results. its rare that i even get a level 60 item let alone have useful stats? why is inferno level 60 if 95% of the gear is level 51-58 blue junk? from 5 stack bosses? even champs hardly ever drop anything, same thing all crap blues/rares way underlevel. (some underlevel gear is on par with 60 stuff..yes i am aware of what item levels mean)

Now yes granted not all loot will be great, but when you farm for DAYS on end, hours upon hours in multiple farm spots (not just boss runs) and get NOTHING it really demoralizes you to continue on, when you know every single item you will get will be underlevel and crap. There's no excitement for new gear, no new anything, for days, in d2 you'd at least get ONE thing a day or a few if you farmed...i've gotten NOTHING...every single item i have i got from AH in 3 weeks, playing 10 hours a day, doing multiple runs, full clears, boss runs, chest farming, you name i have done it.

so this patch will hopefully start making it so useful LEVEL APPROPIATE drops start dropping, not 61/62's we need 63's in inferno act 1, small chance, but SOME chance, not NONE like myself have been getting from the start. Would love to kill a rare pack in act 1 inferno and get a nice new shiny 1k dps bow, that would be awesome, i would be estactic and excited, upgrade! not the current way...kill a pack, loot it, move on, end of farm session, glance over identified rares, toss to vendor, restart again....throw us a frickin bone here.

Boss 5 stack getting 1 less rare, i can live with that, putting an extra rare on champs is a nice change, that means i can go into act 1 and farm every single champ pack knowing i have more chances at loot now, and if i feel like it hop over to butcher for kicks.

At least now champs will drop 1 guaranteed rare, and not just 2-3 crap blues, like a lot fo them still do currently, which will be nice for incentive to farm more than just 5 for 5 stack, it will now be 5 stack then go keep killing champs with that 5 stack to get even more rares, which is awesome honestly.

The other thing is, a side effect maybe is that wyrmyshire drops act 4 highest lvl loot, with the drop rate change, makes you wonder if ponyland will see a dramatic increase in highest rares, if so that means that once you get geared, it will be the best spot to farm, i already farm here (cloud chest death runs) and get some nice 60 loot, but with patch...this spot may be killer even more.

the last thing (this post is long already) is that they are thinking about increasing the gold for repairs x4 or even 6...that is...rediculous honestly, for those undergeared this will just be punishment added to injury, we die a lot in inferno, undergeared, underskilled, we arent trying to exploit or body hop through it, and yet we will suffer immensely for dying, it would be total crap to have to farm a whole day just to afford gold repair bills for a day of doing act 2 and 3, i pay 6k every 8 or so deaths ish, thats pretty good at the moment

its not a lot, but when you repair 2-3 times a day just doing quests act 2 inferno as a dh, it does add up, not everyone is a millionarie, and those that are will just laugh at the higher repair costs anyways, gives them a goldsink i guess (although they dont die nearly as much, due to having the best gear..so...it comes full circle)

posted a message on chest run act 2 hotfixed/nerfed
just a heads up, with all the whirlwind of inferno kills lately, and they had been using the act2 replenish chest as a way to get gear etc, i tried it a few minutes ago, and it was nerfed, 2 days ago i was running it and got 3-4 blues, gems, and pages, i ran it on nightmare and i got a few gold and 1 blue now.

So just a heads up that method is no longer viable, its been closed.

posted a message on Where did the other bosses go
    *spoiler alert*

you fight siegebreaker later in the game, although from the videos i seen before, and comparing where you fight him in the game i think they did indeed move him around, the texture wasnt the same of the flooring and the lighting, the area you fight him in release is a dark earthy area, so not sure there, but yeah he's still alive and kicking, as for challenge, he wasnt to bad

*edit* yeah in the video of him you see him come charging out bashing/breaking apart a wall and slamming into the group, this sequence doesnt happen at least i didnt see any wall or charge in, his entrance was different, and different area, so they must have moved him for sure, from that video they always played during beta and before release.

the only bosses i had real trouble with was belial, even 2 manning it, he was cheesing us with the green bomb waves he drops, always ran myself into a corner, and they hit for like 700+direct hit, instant dead. I had to switch my pants, to one with a lot more vitality, went back in with 1k ish health, to have a buffer if i ran into a bomb or two, we finally got him, still i died the most to him for sure, i beat him with 3 1st try, but when i tried with 2 in a different game, he just destroyed us over and over...ahh so fun though.

posted a message on Looking for people to add to friends/play with
hi i am a 28 year old mature gamer, looking for friends and people to just chill with and play together in diablo 3 on release night and beyond.

I dont have any real life friends who are going to be playing and just reaching out to find maybe some names i can add to a list and to find on release night.

A little about myself, i am located in kansas, midwest, usa. I pretty much play every day, but i work 3rd shift so late nights are usually not possible wednesday through friday and sundays, but mondays-tuesday, and saturday nights are fine.

I am a mmorpg and game veteran, having played original diablo, diablo 2 and LOD hundreds of hours, and subscribed to world of warcraft since its launch in 2005. I play mostly rpgs, fantasy games such as D&D, Lord of the rings Online, Rift etc.

I am very active, laid back gamer, with a newer built pc (2 gig video card) i am just looking for like minded players, just to have fun and play the game together, i am not looking for a rush team, i like to play casual but at a decent pace, i rather see everything and do everything first, than to rush through.

As for class choice i'll be rolling demon hunter and or witch doctor first, with barbarian being my 3rd choice. I played beta for over a month, got all toons to 13, so i am familiar with the game. I also read every post, comment, and video thats posted both on here and mmo-champion, every single day, because i am very excited and cant wait to play.

So my playing times would be 7 or 8am to 1-2am on mondays, tuesdays, saturdays, and on wednesday, thursday friday sundays i work 3rd shift, 10pm to 7am so i i'll be sleeping the next mornings but will play during the day all the way up to 8pm on those days.

    My battletag is Raevynwillow1327

I can also be reached in world of warcraft, alliance side aerie peak server, under the following toons

    Raevynwillow
    Eldarmari
    Nightsilver

So if you want to message me in wow add me to real id or whatever, so we can keep in touch, thats ok too.

Look forward to meeting some cool people to play this game on may 15th! message me or leave a comment if interested....and see you all on tuesday!
