    Thanks!

I grabbed a 12x/13x str/vit witching hour. Debating getting the rest of my gear first or buying an echoing fury with an open socket and high crit damage. Thinking of giving the weapon a 100mill budget.

With this setup, my all resists are taking quite a hit however.

Zuni boots don't help w/ that. Look into getting some STR/Vit/AR/MS Ice Climber's, don't need to be 240+ STR but like 170str/140vit/75+ar/10% life/12%ms would help your EHP.

I don't agree with Inna's at all imo, if you're having trouble staying at the 2.52 Breakpoint, drop Inna's and go trifecta gloves. Get 190 STR/170Vit/75+ AR/2 socket Rare Pants instead, will boost EHP by a large margin.

As for crafting, craft Vit Shoulders instead of STR shoulders:

Max rolls on new crafted items: (Thanks Nubtro)
    vit shoulders: 300 str + 330 vit (630)
    str shoulders: 330 str + 200 vit (530)

    vit bracers: 200 str + 330 vit (530)
    str bracers: 330 str + 200 vit (530)

    vit chest: 200 str + 330 vit (530)
    str chest: 330 str + 300 vit (630)

    vit gloves: 200 str + 330 vit (530)
    str gloves: 330 str + 200 vit (530)

    vit amu: 350 str + 380 vit (730)
    str amu: 380 str + 350 vit (730)

You see you'll get 100 more max stats than STR shoulders, and VIT is our BiS.

Edit: You aren't hitting the 2.52 Breakpoint (8.57tps) :( Missing 9% IAS currently. This would bump up your tDPS by alot. My suggestion is, Drop Innas and go Rare Pants, Drop bracers and go Lacunis (Makes up the 9% IAS and movespeed while gaining back the STR/VIT loss from bracers transferring to pants), and trifecta gloves and you'll be at 59% Attack Speed Bonus w/ Wrath up which is spot on.

    My current barb: http://www.d3rawr.com/d-c17h4

Even though it has alot more gear, you will notice it is still at 59% IAS. You want to maximize your breakpoints and not get unneeded IAS (Unless you're pure hota). I would prefer 60% as then you have the choice if you get a beastly Sword MH to go that and hit the 10tps (2.86) mark on the MH.

Wouldn't those ice climbers cost an arm and a leg? Also, what's your battletag, because I don't see you on WoW/B.net much.

How much would you spend on it? And I'm assuming socket+crit damage+maybe str?

So i got around 350 million to spend and looking for the most effective upgrades for him. He's WW/HoTA, can farm MP6-7 somewhat easily. I'd like to kill faster and not be one shot. Hoping for fast, effective clears of MP10.

So what I'm asking is the following:

What pieces would you upgrade in priority, and with what? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks.

LOL build diversity in Diablo 1
LOL PVP balance in Diablo 2

    You know nothing, OP.
Excuse me boy? Here we go again, yet another fool who has no clue what he is talking about. Please do entertain me and inform me of how unbalanced D2 PvP was.

JUST because I'm slow, and easily confused, are you telling me you think D2's pvp was balanced?
Um yea. It like a chess match, certain pieces had advantages over other pieces, but any piece could beat any piece on any given day. Given the skill of the players matched up, now there were bad match ups and good match ups, like in any great game. Just because you or anyone else in here was bad at the game, doesn't mean the game isn't balanced. That is like me saying Street Fighter is the most unbalanced piece of crap because Zangief has a grab that goes quarter screen, or that Ryu can trade SRK to U1.

You're 100% retarded if you think D2 PVP was balanced in any way. Enigma and other retarded runewords post 1.10 patch just made things worse.
So cmon then. Enlighten me on how it was broken or unbalanced. All you got is enigma? Really? Id advise you go back to MFing, more fit for your tals sorc buddy.

I did high level barbarian duels in USeast hardcore for years, so pretty much putting my money where my mouth is. If there was anyone around that even remotely did dueling on useast hardcore (high level) during 1.09, they'll know who my characters were. I was kind of a big deal.

That being said, enigma was just the tip of the iceberg. It allowed hammerdins to dominate dueling, along with synergies.
Right because WW away from Hammerdins was impossible. Zerk locking them was impossible. Ele druids totally got stomped by Hammerdins right? That is your best reason here? Your hacked and bugged ridden 1.09 HC dueling? Please try again, I can't wait to see what you got next ha.

And for this delusional guy haha:
"How do you create pvp balance in a game where a lvl 99 can hostile a lvl 50? or in a game that's so gear dependent that if you took 2 players playing the exact same class with the exact same skills and stats and same skill level. The more geared player would win. How is that balanced? "

    - Well let's see, my level 29 stomped level 99's. So level means very little, even at high level play with high level gear a level 85 can stomp anyone.
    - It is hardly gear dependent, I could buy charsi gear and totally ruin you and 6 of your friends at the same time while you wear the best gear you can find. Simply because you obviously don't know the game haha.
    - Ok so 2 players playing exact same class with exact same skills and stats at same level... and the more geared wins? So I guess we don't dodge attacks anymore. We don't aim attacks anymore. I guess all of those #1 ladder spots I owned where I was lower level and out geared were a myth, good to know.

Ladder ranking was directly based off level/difficulty.

    You never played D2 seriously.

    Called out.
Oh my god really? Is this kid really posting this haha? Seriously!? You honestly believe I am posting about that garbage leveling ladder rank? HAHAH! I can't even begin to describe.....

Seriously haha, just move, just keep on moving buddy. Nothing to see here.

Go away. No one likes you.

The RMAH will be insane, never seen so many gold spamming, trading and buying in a game. Blacksmith and Jeweler are useless :)

You're ridiculous. I've made millions crafting 6 stat helms.

Because they troll the internet? It's fun for them? 4chan told them to do it?

People who have a bone to pick are the most vocal. People who are generally content don't usually go out of their way.

Plenty of legit players offering their services. You do realize that certain classes can't progress past Act 2 Inferno w/o a3/a4 gear and are forced to farm the AH/farm mediocre A1 gear to post on the AH/pay people for resplendant chests, pony runs and boss kills.

    Either way, you're a jackass.

LOL. Are you using official forums as an argument now? Are you serious? The very very VERY tiny portion of overall players post on forums and the ones complaining are the vocal minority. The VERY vocal minority. The ones who have rants/issues to complain about usually talk the loudest. The ones who are content...don't post. They keep playing.

Way to brush off my legit argument with "Excuses, excuses." Good to know you have nothing legit or concrete to bring to this table.

Making assumptions is pretty dumb. How do you know he didn't farm his gear? Or got lucky with early drops and sold them for millions on the AH?

Even assuming he paid for his gear, so what? It all comes down to time == money. If you want to spend time farming your gear, that's one way to look at it. If you rather spend money, why does it matter?

And PVP isn't supposed to be balanced, so not sure why the pvp complaint.

Perhaps because I have over 10 million gold collected, 300 hours played time, and still don't know anyone who has gotten a single drop that could fund the type of gear that this man is wearing with his measly 120 hours of time played, and 1.5 million gold collected.

As far as justifying that time is money, that defeats the purpose of the game for me. I work full-time, and I play a game to have fun. Saying that it is better to spend your real-life money on a game because time = money defeats the entire purpose of a game. Actually enjoying playing it. Comparing time spent in the game to time spent at work? Only if the game isn't actually fun to play (which is no the case).

Here's a piece of advice that may help you out in the world. People derive enjoyment from different things. You don't like paying for items and like to play through everything and earn it? Cool! Kudos to you! That doesn't make you better than the person who derives enjoyment from min/maxing his or her character, and if that person can afford to, why the hell not buy his gear?

Amongst my 2 level 60s, I currently have 25 million gold, probably have spent 5-10 million and I definitely know I could have made atleast 100 mill+ if I had leveled faster/gotten into Inferno faster/not rolled a barb first. Don't judge.
