    Quote from jOCtHaGrEAt»

Because the clock lag.. console and PC are 2 completely different games.. We have to monitor Kill Streaks/cant use Toxin Gem due to it stalling out our damage, also we cannot target as effectively as PC players so hate all you want but that fact is there is only one Asian group that has 120+ clears on console (PS4).. this isn't easy.. also yes it takes 30 minutes sometimes longer depending on Mob type/progression but try and keep your focus for that long only to have a bad RG spawn w/ no pylon... its not like we got lucky and spawned Saxtris or the Rat.

Only one according to who? I didn't think Blizzard tracked consoles (due to the previously mentioned ease of cheating).

    Quote from eple»

Best news since the banwaves :) Hopefully the creator of that cheat keeps it down this time.

    It's kind of like botting.

i.e. Do you really think someone who greatly enjoyed THUD and is knowledgeable about such things (remember their support forums was full of users helping other users with requests, it's not all by the creator) won't just make a new version? I'd be surprised if we don't have THUD or something like THUD by next season if not in a week or two, since as Filth mentioned, the creator is a bit of a drama queen who overreacts and claims it's the end of THUD only to be working on it again a few days later

posted a message on set dungeons not enough mobs ?

I agree with both previous posters. The set dungeons are fine, people completed them last patch and even more will completely them this patch due to the nerfs on the more difficult ones.

So which one are you having problems with?

It can spawn anywhere a variant goblin can spawn (ie; not treasure hardcoded like Vault boss, etc)

This. Anywhere in the world that just has a random goblin spawn could have a Menagerist.

posted a message on How to disincentivize botters?

Short of weekly ban waves, there's no way to disincentive botting in an ARPG without harming your legit players.

In an ARPG you hunt loot. Loot drops from mobs. If something can kill mobs for you while you're sleeping/at work/whatever, then it's desired.

Pretty much anything else you can think of will also harm legit players. If botters simply had to buy an item from Kadala every hour (something I'm sure they probably do anyway as running rifts nonstop over night will fill up their bloodshards fairly quickly) then the bot can be made to do so. The bot can be told to break down any and all yellows and store legendaries for processing in the morning when the user gets back on, etc. etc.

    Nobody wants a bloody captcha.

Making the game worse (XP penalty for death, no xp from content deemed trivial to you, etc.) harms legit players. Sure, the xp may not be super, but plenty of people speed farm lower level GRs for the purpose of leveling their legendary gems. They deserve their XP while doing so.

You can have Vengance and FoK at the same time... what? You can literally use any 6 skills combined period. If you don't have Elective Mode on... well you I guess have never looked at the games options.

There are SOME skills that don't work like this (Monk Auras, Crusader Laws) but in general, yea.

LOL. At least give Warden a realistic goal.

Warden will -NEVER- remove botting from the game. People like Gaby will be back next season, botting away until they get banned again.

gaby said he will play overwatch now only
Even if he sticks to his word on that (and to be clear, pretty much everything out of Gaby's mouth is total horse shit "I wasn't even using anything this season...") doesn't change the fact that if the only way the Warden "completes it's mission" is to eliminate botting entirely, then the Warden has already failed. There will always be botters.

rumor has it that this time THUD users were banned

Verification already said that it's not.

LOL wha r u blathering? Several hundreds of players have been banned permanently for turboHUD and similar garbage, and this is only the beginning, There will be constant bans from now on.
Nobody has been banned for solely using TurboHUD, that I promise you. The author of THUD has stated numerous times that the first time Blizzard takes action against THUD, is the second he stops supporting it.

He's not even done anything to fight off the Warden updates. It was other users who came up with ways around the detection by Warden.

posted a message on Poll: Are you going to play season or non-seasonal?
    Quote from Bagstone»

    • Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that?
    • What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)?
    • What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively?
    • What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))?
    1) No matter what I'd be sprinting for the stash tab. I want all 10 of my stash tabs and will jump through the hoops for it.

    2) Varied. Previously if there was something shiny and new for one of my favorite builds/classes that was season exclusive I'd jump into seasons. In general not a fan of starting over and over again. Plus once you're over 800 Paragon, you don't have that "Oh goody, I leveled up a paragon and got... 1% gold find...

    3) For the stash, maybe go for the entire seasonal journey as that was fun too last season.

    4) 100% what my friends do. (PS anyone looking for easy leaderboard spots, Hardcore non season is the way to go ;P)

Too much bots are farming only keys.

Just remove stupid GR keys, if someone can play only 1-2 hours, they dont need to farm keys for GR-s to play with friends. Or make restriction with keys only for new levels, like if you did lv55 solo before, you dont need key below 55, but you need it for 55+ and so on ...

Getting rid of GR keys would be fantastic. I'd rather log on and play GR all day if I had my "dream day". Sadly that either requires farming up a ton of keys before hand, or I'll have to make little pit stops in the day to go through an incredibly boring and unrewarding normal old rift.

Regardless. Bnet is strict against 3rd party software. A rule is a rule. And as for cursing. They block that out so no such thing.

Blizz has said countless times that the filter is NOT permission to swear. People have been suspended for swearing in all Blizzard games.

You got it. If I get banned I get banned. I'm OK with the consequences.

Sometimes I wish bigworded ppl like yourself will suffer the consequences just for a reality check! :)

Hahaha. My good sir, D3 is a videogame. The only consequences for me to "suffer" is being banned which would just mean I've more time for other games, certainly nothing of a "reality check". Trust me, I stand by what I said and if Blizzard ever does decide to come down hard on THud, I guarantee you I will be hit as I've taken zero of the suggested security precautions found on the THud forums. I don't even rename the application (which honestly would only prevent the most basic of checks anyway). If Blizzard wants to ban me for using THud, they are welcome to, heck I've even admitted to using THud on the official forums before (somewhere far more likely to get a response from Blizzard than my admittance here on diablofans where Bliz has no way of figuring out my battle tag). The great thing about being a gamer is I've a very large library of games just waiting to entertain me. :P

In my opinion, the base UI of D3 is disgustingly lacking, whether that be proper damage calculations for skills or quick and easy notice of whether you've cubed an item or anything in between, the base UI is about as useful as a fresh turd. Thus I improve upon it with THud. Believe it or not, I've even turned off the map hack portion of it (an option for all who download THud believe it or not). I'm not on the leaderboards... OK, that's a lie, my hardcore non seasonal crusader is on the leaderboards, but to be fair, all you need to do is beat GR20 solo and you're on the hardcore non seasonal leaderboards. I suppose it's more accurate to say I'm not on the leaderboards in any real competitive sense.

    Not a very intelligent answer...

    What?
Admitting I use THUD? I've already done so in previous threads (whether they're still alive and searchable is another question). I've zero shame about it. I highly doubt Bliz cares (and honestly nobody who uses just THUD has reported a ban yet, the THUD forums even have threads asking if anyone has been banned and the response so far is zero. :P
