Gear: 4piece waste set, bulkathos weapons, zodiac, ignore pain belt and cube war cry belt

Build: Rend 10% damage taken cold rune for iceblink, whirlwind, threatening shout falter, harpoon, war cry, ignore pain

Something like that, you could also look up a support barb build from last season and add the new aquilla chest to it.

Hota weapon, hota bracers + some random legendaries and smash your way through Grift 40?

focus and restraint is still allowed so Hota build without IK basicly

Your current spec looks alright the only thing you need is battlerage bloodshed instead of overpower. You can change it up pretty easy as well frenzy/bash, hota, battle rage are mandatory then you got 3 skills left I'm using furious charge, war cry, wotb but any combination of leap, earthquake, ancients, avalanche works.

Crafted Asheara's boots, shoulders with AR and healthglobe bonus and extra AR from 2set would be a nice healing and defensive boost. That neck is pretty bad only got 90% CHD really, a rare with fire damage, strength, crit,CHD will be better even with less then optimal rolls.

800 AR is just a random number. It gradually takes more and more AR for 1% less total damage, a strong note is to realize that the damage reduction relative to the damage you take doesn't change much. Seems like the low AR recommendation and the lack of warcry impunity that the guide is mostly focused on the lower torments.

I'm not a big fan of whirlwind prefer Hota and just use furious charge stamina when undergeared for fury. It works with a lightning build but not sure it's the best when starting out fresh on a barb.

I'm running with 1280 AR atm but considering dropping the 3 AR gems in my chest for strength. I'd say somewhere between 1000-1400AR depending on your other stats. Vitality boosts toughness more then AR but it doesn't do anything for damage reduction. It's about balance you need a certain amount of hp to survive damage spikes 300-400k but AR is better in general.

Since us barbs r trying to help each other out I too am having huge survivability problems. My dps is great but I can't do t4 yet t3 is my limit can someone tell me where to go with my gear I really need help not sure what to do: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Hybr1d420-1641/hero/30085941

Your fellow barb appreciates the imput
You're missing AR on boots, legs, belt, chest. Well the only piece you have AR on is your shoulders and you don't have the IK or asheara 2set for some free extra AR. Also you're lacking a lot of healing and bonuscrit on hota from not having the unforgiving passive and nerves of steel is the worst armor passive go for either rampage or though as nails.

I'm doing T5 bounties, T4 rifts atm. The unity ring makes it easy but it's doable without. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/bigbad-2504/hero/634883 Your dps is quite a bit higher, paragon and thoughness a bit lower but with the changes T4 shouldn't be an issue can switch weapons master to though as nails if you feel too squishy, rampage is an option as well as it gives some armor.

Looks pretty solid. You want healthglobe bonuses where you can get them, I'd say shoulders/boots are mandatory and rings/amulet/chest if you're lucky. %life gem in your helm. I prefer stamina over attackspeed on the magefists but probably best to reroll fire resist/physical resist on those and just more paragon levels for more armor and other bonuses. Unity is strong in combination with the immortal follower relic for soloing and the IK set is just awesome.

I'm gaining gold and I have no idea what to do with it, got max level gems and for enchanting forgotten souls seem to be more limiting then gold.

You kinda want a maximus with 2700 dps or dualwield thunderfury/Sahnkis burning axe/devestator. Healthglobe bonuses will greatly increase your healing, no use wasting a primary slot on LoH or Lps if one healthglobe bonus can give better healing, advantage from dualwield is more healing from life per fury as well. The fury gains from superstition can be really helpful and the 20% less damage won't hurt either.

Crafted Aszeara set or IK set if you're lucky will be nice :)

Your healing goes wrong cause you're missing healthglobe bonuses. Boots, shoulders should have it at least and it's also possible to get it on rings, chest, amulet. Belt can have life per fury as well, but your belt is pretty solid.

Asheara's 2set or IKs is a nice AR boost and you're missing AR on shoulders, legs, chest.

Running T5 with 22k armor(tough as nails+paragon points at 370 helps), 1280AR and 1200 life per fury. Solo with unity on my templar it's easy, on co-op it's doable but a bit more tricky. Using 2set Asheara's and 2set Raekor's but hoping to get more IK pieces.

posted a message on What do I need for taking this to the next level?
Unforgiving passive is a must have imo, superstition can be nice for elites. I'm using a similar spec but with battering ram rune on furious charge (stamina is an option as well), war cry instead of rend no use having 2 fury spenders, battle rage bloodshed for aoe since there is no rend.

Like Noceo said you need hota damage on boots/helm and fire damage on bracers/amulet. The attackspeed on your rings isn't that useful get crit or critdamage instead. Try to get cindercoat, magefists, strongarm bracers (works with furious charge), stone of jordan, burning axe of sahnkis, devastator(crafted) or some good set items like immortal king, raekor's, asheara's(crafted) but all that just depends on what drops, you can do act1 bounties for ring of grandeur to help getting set bonuses faster. Healthglobe bonus on your boots and upgrading to better gems won't hurt either.

Get more paragon levels the extra max fury, AR, critchance/damage is really helpful.

Barb 640% fire hota with 30+% bonus crit compared to a bugged 440% sweep attack. Crusader relies too much on cds which don't do enough sustained damage on higher torment but has incredible burst on lower torments. Crusader has some potential and nice defense with a shield but lacks damage compared to my fire hota barb.

Healthglobe bonus, can't beat that healing imo. Unless avalanche is completely useless for your spec.

Nice vid +1 for the music. Using something similar on T5 atm but without the IK set not that lucky yet. No burning axe of Sankis for your offhand? Unity ring+templar token that makes him immortal is really OP made T5 go from challenging to fairly easy for me.

Leveling is so quick anything works just set the difficulty to what your gear can handle. I'd suggest getting unforgiving as passive since fury isn't unlimited any more and bloodthirst for a nice bit of healing. Then just pick your fury generator and spender of choice, I prefer hammer of the ancients but rend and seismic slam work as well. Can finish your build of with cds(wotb, earthquake, avalanche), shouts and some mobility (furious charge, leap).
