    This is by far the best alround-build I played so far. Nether Tentacles as both AoE and single target DPS and hungering for hatred reg are usually enough. That leaves 4 spots open for tactical abilities. Although you don't always need all the defensives, I often find myself spamming those in Inferno. The 2 sec root makes Caltrop useful against any target, even very fast enemies. Vault and Vanish are lifesavers, if you get in bad spots on inferno you will often need both of them to get out of there alive.
    Finally preparation as last resort.

    This build will work for almost every boss, too! Only bosses where your single target dps is too low might require picking up some skills to increase it, like that mark thingy.
    Can you re-show that spec on the US site, I hoped you could since I see you are typing in english here perfectly fine, I can obviously see what abililties but can't make out what runes you used.

    my build is super fun, I have mobility, burst damage, stuns, ranged attack for runners and casters, fun fun fun.


    I know I don't have any defensive abilities besides my stun and my leap rune. But I think the biggiest mistake was in gearing, I went 100% Strength, completely ignored Vitality in everyway possible, and now I"m paying for it.

    My question is why couldn't I atleast get through Normal before being forced to tank, I love the big numbers and being in melee, seems like you can't max it out unless you overgear the content.


    My question is, how do you 2H/dw's do it without being a tank?

    Do you have to pick all defensive abilities and passives, and just use offensive abilities?
    Do you have to Gear pure Vitality for survival, and get your dps from what is left over?

    It's not that I don't think hungering arrow or bola are bad by any means. I just feel that what you lose in damage you gain in utility with the other generators.


    One of the safest combos imo is entangling shot with chain gang+elemental arrow+frost arrow.

    This combo does good aoe damage and slows multiple targets. Combine this with vault and you're very difficult to catch.

    Thats a great combo, but with that much slowing and snaring make sure to use the passive that enhances damage to slowed mobs by like 20%.

    I love that combo, but it hurts me to think about all the damage lost, I like the mechanic of bola shot, with the lightning run to add damage, and the built in stun chance is great when I'm spamming it.

    Yeah Twin Chakram is awesome tons of damage that cover a large radius, and cuts thru the mobs like any other penetrating ability as a base part of the ability, 100% no runes needed for that feature.

    The downside is, it has blind spots, if you hve a caster in the right spot, the Chakrams will curve right around them, you can easily adjust positioning, but thats the only downside.

    Whats the logic to the number's in the ( )'s, you took the smallest number from each bracket, ran them through your equation, then the largest number of each bracket, and did the same.


    Sounds confusing, what I"m asking is what does (115-146) have in relation to each other, why are they bracketed together, same as (227-300). My logic made me think that 115 and 146 were the lowest possible range damage, but from your equation, it doesn't seem that way?

    Wow you made that seem simple, lol.

    OK one more.

    I've seen the rule that when Duel Wielding, you want the damages to be simular to be more effective.

    If I was using 2 1handers, how can I calculate to see what my dps is from them (with 2 different sets of numbers):
    1. To be able to compare the DPS from the 2 weapons combined, in order to match and see if it is a drop from a 2hander or (other gear excluded)?
    2. To see if I do have a disparity in the 2 1handers how much does my dps of the 2 weapons combined drop?
    3. Knowing if it would just be better to use the 1 hander alone because a 2nd one hander drops you too much?
    This is excluding the use of quivers and shields etc, and keeping in mind the 15% speed buff to duel wielding.

    If you are attacking 1.3 times per second shouldn't your DPS be higher than the damage?

    Says that the DPS is 222.3–289.9

    with the damage numbers it has and the APS is has, how does it calculate to the dps shown above, somebody break this down please

    I'm from wow, so I guess that is where my logic is, but for some reason I'm noticing that, 1 hander weapons of equal level have the same dps as equivelant level 2 handers, but 2 handers are faster, doesn't seem logical to me.


    So what are teh pros and cons of each?

    Sup you guys, I have a question for you, up until now I've been using
    Twin Chakrams as an AoE spender and Implale with Chemical burn as a single target spender.

    But now I'm 29 do you think Elemental Arrow with Frost rune is better, only in normal act II, and like I said level 29?
