posted a message on The Monk is a support class like the Pally
Every class can work as support. They even could in D2.... I mean come on.....
    Necro -Curses, Golem
    Pally - Auras
    Barb - Warcries
Zon - Inner Sight or whatever, Valk
Sorc - Freezing or stun effects
    Druid - Oak, Bear
Sin - Stun effects, Shadow Warrior

It's very obvious that Blizzard is trying to make every character more balanced this game. Every character should play a vital role in a party while still being able to solo the entire game. For this to be possible every character must have a fair share of supportive and damaging skills.

posted a message on Story behind inactivity of D2 classes in D3 is kinda silly
I think Blizzard makes the heroes different in every story to try and get the realistic time effect. After time these heroes become weak and fragile while the prime evils only brood and build their armies once again.

posted a message on monk armor should be as epic as barbarian armor
I hope monks can use almost any light weight weapon. They are generally trained in a wide array of weapons in real life so why not in the game?

There was no way they could take out the Barbarian. He was the most versatile class and I think the most well rounded in D2.

Have they said that they are not anouncing any more classes? Because for some reason I still see the paladin coming back.

posted a message on Stats what are they there for .. really ?
    Quote from "Terror" »
Auto-stats is one of the best changes being introduced in Diablo III, it's just taking people forever to grasp the concept and what it means gameplay-wise.

And what exactly does it mean? Besides destroying any possibilities of creating a truly customized character. Auto-stats suck dick because they take away the last chance of customization outside of items. Items now are the pure source of creating a good character, just like in WoW and many other new games. This was the main reason why Guild Wars was so appealing to me. Items mean barely anything while skill and teamwork (Along with creating a good team "build") were what truly decided who won the fight.

Why is almost every aspect of the game that was changed, now more like WoW? Items, auto-stats, skills, gameplay itself, bosses?

I wish they could have given you more monsters to kill instead of less. Make stats more customizable instead of removing them. And weaken items as the source of true power instead of strengthening them. Why would they do these things? By making items the only way to better your character this makes time playing the game more important than any skill required (as if their was any in the first place....)

I don't understand why they would make time spent playing the game so important, like in WoW, when they are not making profit on how much you play but only the initial sale.

The whole point of having a different franchise is to make different games, not only in storyline but in gameplay as well. I see Diablo 3 becoming even more of a WoW clone as patches come out in the future.

Up until recently I was very set on buying this game on release date, but as more announcements are made about the game the less I want to buy it.

What a non-topic. Really, can you not get your head around how customizing your stats will work without the old manual stat system?

You can't customize your stats without the old system........... Thats why it's called auto stats...

People like you are the reason I want manual stat allocation, so when they have no idea wtf they are doing, I can be placing my stats strategically to make a stronger "base" character. (Base meaning without items)

Why is it that items are the only thing that you can truly customize your character with, but there are always BiS (Best in Slot) items, so customization is actually completely gone.... How awesome.

Runes are items so none of that BS.

posted a message on District 9
    Quote from "Jetrall" »
Am I the only person here who enjoys not having everything in a movie explained to them? I'm starting to think I might be the only person in the world who really loves open-ended plotlines (such as with Cloverfield, for example).

I guess this makes 2 of us.

I hope you have seen the movie Equilibrium.

District 9 was a pretty good movie but nothing really spectacular or original. I think if there was a movie about aliens who came to help us defeat monsters from within the Earth would make a good plot. (Just thought of it)

posted a message on Vid Cards a big screw up.
Ati is awful in my opinion. They have never been as stable as an Nvidia card which is the reason why most major gaming companies pair up with Nvidia, it's just a better chipset. Amd + Nvidia = Great success!

posted a message on Mfing in cow level
You don't want to "mf" the cow level. The items you want to find in the cow level are white, such as runes or socketed items. The higher mf you have the lower chance you have to find these white items. You want 0 mf and a character that can't kill the king. A Javazon.

Also, mf'ing after a few months of ladder reset is pointless, your going to want to make a GF Barb and gamble your life away.

Silver if you ever want a rush that may be better than a streetbike, get on a dirtbike. Obstacles make things more interesting. In my opinion. Also, I would kill myself if I owned a streetbike so I won't buy one. haha

posted a message on Party experience radius?
The only problem I see with the experience given by damage would be that if you actually need to use teamwork in this game and have classes like the Barbarian who are doing less damage but are taking all the hits so the damage classes can kill the monsters without being touched.
