I don't see how this table is relevant, Frenzy is supposed to deal twice the tornado's damage and has different LoH coefficient.
I did half the math for you in my post above, and you're not going to be hitting 20k damage with tornadoes when sitting at 50-60k dps on the character screen.

I'll type in the tips for the build a bit later, had my share of fury problems as well when I began.

For those who were wondering, just made a full a3-a4 run (and I can't remember whether I mentioned soloing 4 ppl Ghom yesterday), Rakanoth remains remotely challenging, everything else is cakewalk.

Maybe you should check your facts.
LL scales with gear, LoH does not, so with better gear LL>LoH.
So pls stop spreading things like LL is useless.
I know my facts. I'm at 2k LoH with moderate gear. Considering the 20% ratio for Sprint tornadoes, that's 400 per tornado tick.
Feel free to do the math to calculate just how good your gear should be to regain this much health from one tornado tick with lifesteal (that's 20k per hit with 10% life steal, not 100, but still a very interesting number to get for tornado damage, I'm getting 5k crits for example).

TL:DR - I'm not saying Life Steal is a useless stat, but it certainly isn't one to be chasing for when using this build.

And please, keep your tone civil.

Lifesteal is useless with this build, don't bother with it. Just use superstition or nerves of steel if you don't like relentless (I actually swapped to superstition myself, works wonders).

I feel sorry for your loss, lost a lot of gold in that aswell. But IAS is a stat not a build, and it was indeed heavily overbudgeted. How should they have fixed it then in your opinion? Leavng as it was maybe? Where you are forced to get IAS on rings, amulet, weapon and gloves because all other stats pale in comparison?
except it wasn't, not for a barbarian.
I got all my lost dps using the same 2-handed build using cheap ass crit+critdmg gear, but that's not overpowered in their book, IAS was? And crit/critdmg was working just fine before 1.0.3, IAS was more fun to play because I personally hate slow hitter builds.
I'm not convinced it needed fixing. And that's not just barbarians, fine, Demonhunters took a hit as well but look at Athene and what he does now using crit, how is that any less overpowered?

They have yet to nerf a build that requires a specific level of gear. They even stated that they want certain builds to feel very powerful with the right set of (high quality) gear. What they dont want are builds that are very effective with crap gear.
Hoh. They nerfed IAS (which was fun) to the ground. I efficiently lost about 20 mil worth when 1.0.3 went live.
Life on Hit is the next closest contender for a nerf, same with crit damage which scales way higher than IAS ever did.

Should work decently enough on everything except Zoltun Kulle since he moves so much. I just soloed a 4 ppl Ghom but then again, that boss is probably the easiest one for this build.

Ow. I assumed there were enough threads about this build already with stats/gear discussions, but that's what the questions are for right?
So yeah, my stats, self-buffed (rage + warcry with impunity):

As you can see, I don't have a lot of resistances at all, and using a mighty weapon so no extra crit from weapon mastery either.
Basically you want 30%+ crit and as much life on hit as you can possibly get. Weapon DPS, strength etc don't matter as long as you can kill the elites before they enrage.
Same thing with survival stats and passives, as long as you have enough EHP to keep you alive from the enemy hits in a3/a4 with LoH ticking in, you're going to be fine.

    Answering these questions:
1.) How much crit% would you say is necessary to have enough fury regen for a) endless ww endless Zerker Rage
2.) How much better is the reflect dmg rune on overpower compared to the 10% crit chance rune?
    1. I don't think it's even possible to have endless WW on a single target even if you stack crit everywhere. Sitting at 38.50% I can use WW almost endlessly while keeping sprint up against two targets if those targets are not ranged and not shielding. Not sure what you mean by endless Zerker Rage, if you're referring to WotB, yeah you can keep it up long enough for it to get off CD on your action bars if you move cleverly and don't just nuke one group at a time - basically hit and run and pull as much as you can.
    2. Miles better. You're more or less invulnerable when you have OP with Reflect up, and, provided there's enough enemies being hit, you can almost spam it. The idea is that the reflected damage also procs Life on Hit effects, making those pesky desecrated or plagued champions efficiently heal you while you stand in their poo.

First of all, thanks to all the people who worked on making this build work, in all the topics over at the official forums and diablofans. Brought back the fun to this game after the IAS nerf in 1.0.3. I used to run a 2h frenzy build before, the change obviously ruined that, and I couldn't stay online longer than 20 minutes using a regular slow and heavy hitter build due to sheer boredom.

I've been running whirlwind/tornado happily for more than a week now and someone at another forum requested a video of my act 3 farming process, and I thought I might as well share it at diablofans.

    So here goes:

    Enjoy!

    You can't exactly "outgear" A3/A4.

Thanks for the tip, will definitely give this a try, I don't have plans to farm act 4 so this might help me spend some time, getting 5 stacks in early a3 is a question of 10 minutes.

    Thanks!

    2.56 aps

I'll agree with you on act 3 btw, the second half especially is in my opinion harder than a4, some of those elite combos are just yuck.
And I'll probably put Siegebreaker right behind Diablo himself in terms of difficulty, although you can easily kite Siegebreaker, but it's still impossible to "nobrain" the boss by just standing and nuking with CDs - unlike, say, Belial, who starts dying before even the first meteor phase once you hit a certain gear threshold.

You can check my channel, got videos for most inferno bosses with a 2-h barb with DPS varying from 40k to 70+ depending on the spec. Just soloed Big D half an hour ago, too.
