Ok so.. What is considered a "good" off-hand? I thought the one I have had pretty good rolls and stats? Do you mean a legendary off-hand in perticular?
And you say some items can be replaced in 1 hour play time, what should I go for then?
I mean, looking purely at % of damage, I'm dropping 0 stuff that boosts my % damage.

EDIT: I actually got a Triumvirate from Kadala.. Not very exciting tho..

Yeah I'm gonna try getting another offhand from Kadala, and going to switch around with some skills to get more survival.

Taking more advice if anyone has anything on their mind :)

    Hey hey,

I could need some advice on what gear to look for, and what items to buy from Kadala as I've saved up alot of shards.
Thing is I don't ever find an upgrade anymore. Dropped tons of legendaries but not a single upgrade to what I'm wearing now and it's getting boring. I have a few legendary recipes and also a recipes for a few sets. For example reapers wraps, hallowed set, demons hide set, and some others I can't recall..
I usually play on T2, although I'm feeling kind of squishy. With buffs applied ingame my DPS is around 600k, and with standing still for 1.5sec my DPS is 700~k
Dont really understand how I can be so squishy, I have around 1.1k resist all + 450k hp

posted a message on Diablo Endgame: which would you prefer
I've cleared inferno on a Wizard and I really liked progressing through it.. And TBH, I would think it would be cool it they introduced, like in an expansion, the ability to level all the way to 99, for no really good reason at all.
For ex, an expansion is expanding the level cap to 70, and then there is 29 more levels of grind, just for fun and achievements.

Also I wouldn't mind a super inferno which would require best in slot items :]

people that voted barbs are just not aware of the rate at which dps classes farm

"dps classes"? Whalecum to Diablo 3 where every class is a DPS class.
Have you even tried a barb for farming?

I got only one tip and it's rather boring..

Just wait it out. The economy will get more stable and items will go down in price, people will realize they ain't selling stuff with people not having as much to spend anymore with the repair costs and nerfed gold drops.

So I don't know, take a break and maybe try out the Monk, maybe you will fare better for the moment!

The only problem with skewness of this survey is whether people who are complaining about 1.0.3 are more or less likely to vote in such survey (my bet, they are more likely just to voice their opinion).

+ the fact that one could vote as many times as you would have liked. No log-in required at all.

    Quote from Tyraen

This community has, at best, 10K active users. 44% are on the fence or dislike the patch. Making it 4.4k people complaining. (I know the community itself is larger, only shooting for members who *own* the game - if someone has more valid numbers, let me know).

Even if you extrapolate that there are at least 10 fansites with 10k active posters, and Battle.net with 50k (being way generous), and extending that by accepting those users mentioned actually *own* Diablo 3 (since any other comments are opinions are worthless), you come up with 69K users complaining.

Again 7MIL+ purchases. At least that many, since we haven't had any news of additional sales since 1 week in. But again, being generous, as smaller total sales inflates the percentage.

Making it .0098% of active users vocally throwing a fit. Otherwise - a vocal minority.

Being fair, .0098% will translate into some larger % of the userbase being happy, that's how surveying a valid sample size works. Be very clear, however - the number of people playing the game is *far* larger than the number of people trolling these forums running on about how terrible the game is. Far to many entitled crybabies who, instead of accepting that not every game satisfies every need and moving on, think that they have to get back at Blizzard, and drive as many people as possible from the game.

It makes me sad that this is the state of gaming. Used to be, we looked at the box and if the features sounded like they would be fun we would try it. If it sucked, we tried again. If it was broke we returned it.

Now, thanks to mindless repetition of game series like CoD and Halo and MWx, people are so used to always getting exactly what they expect (because the games never truly change) that anytime a game comes out they don't like, they go running off raging. EA made it that much worse when they caved regarding the end of ME3. Players didn't make they game, they play it. EA screwed developers by setting the precedent that developers are just slaves to players now, and meant only to generate profit. And thanks to them and players like the ones that overpopulate these forums, you can expect the quality and uniqueness of games to deteriorate going forward. Because only the independently wealthy studios will continue to be able to make games as they want. The rest will be relegated to spamming out clones for the mindless drones this new generation of gamers has become.

For every person who does this - I hope life takes something away from you unfairly, to teach you some perspective. And maybe make you mature a bit.

    EDIT: clarity, maths

Your post pretty much sums up what I have been thinking for a few months, so thumbs up!

posted a message on Help! I cannot make it through Act I Normal
I started playing HC barb seriously last night and after 4 hours playing in a public group, I'm already in Act III (Witnessed 2 deaths so far though. Wiz and a DH)
I find it extremely easy, but TONS of fun.

    What I've done;
Haven't spent even 1 gold on the blacksmith nor the jeweler, just go to the AH and spend your money there, alot better. Early level gear is cheap and you won't have cash problems if you just vendor all magic items (that's not worth to AH)
Stack vitality gear, use defensive passives and a really good weapon = Good to go!

    EDIT;
I remember on my first play-through ever with 2 friends, at the last act I thought 100k gold was alooot of money because I've used up it all on the blacksmith getting crap items.
Now at the end of Act II I had 80k!

posted a message on Is it faster to level in group or solo ?
    Quote from Tziera

I haven't played in any public games, but I can't see how it should be any different between public groups or playing with friends.
But you'll never get more monster in co-op than when playing solo, regardless of difficulty.

But since the hp of the monster only goes up by 75%* (on normal), 85%* (on nightmare) and 95%* (on hell) hp/person, it will almost always go faster when in a group to kill the monsters, i.e. if you stay together. And there also might be some shared skills that improve damage output or survivability for the entire group.

So I would say that if all are equally good, it will go faster to play in a group than solo.

*The percentage is from the top of my head, it might not be entirely correct.

This is not really my experience. Ive been in several public games and mostly all the time, it goes slower to kill monsters in group. It's more fun though!

I got the exact same problem when I was progressing in Inferno Act II, in that exact cave. God I thought it was awful! Thankfully I just re-created the game until I got a few elites that I could handle.
Few days later I completed inferno :D

Have you ever considered that you might just not be that good?

No I did not for I am awesome at pretty much any video games that comes out that I put the smallest effort in it. I beat all my games on the hardest settings within days, have a shit load of platinum trophies if you have any idea what those are, always finish in top 3 in matches in online FPS BF3/cod, was ranked top 20 in warcraft 3 on azeroth and im passing. With that said, I have nothing to prove to you so, yeah w/e. And since when this game is hard, give me the gear and i will rape through everything. There was this Barb on act 2 with crazy gear, all he was using was cleave, i didnt see him use any spells besides berserker and volcano, so please, don't come here and tell me you need skills to play this game a 10 years old could play.

    LOL!
You're saying that you're a pr0l33t-g4m3r, BUT you can't progress in a game that is according to you, supposed to be super-duper easy. So then.. What's wrong?
