posted a message on Best class in Diablo III for Solo and PVP?
I'm actually quite astonished at how effective DHs are at soloing in mediocre gear. My main character is a barb that is almost through Act2 inferno but it's a real slow go as I absolutely need the AH for gear. By comparison I leveled a DH to 60 in about 35hrs, bought him 500K in gear on the AH as a quick start. With that I proceeded to clear Act1 Inferno in mere hours, quickly catching up to my Barb. Now given that the gear on my barb costs 10x that which is on my DH, this new toon has become a very cost effective farming toon.

posted a message on Why am I failing in act 2? (Stats and screens provided)
I just started Act2 with the following stats (buffed): 37k HP, 10k Armor, approx 500 resist all, 9k DPS and am having very good success with the following spec.

I am able to take out about half of the rare packs I encounter, which is pretty good for just starting the act, and the others I have bypassed. I find in Act2 the combination of leap (iron impact) and Furious Charge (Drednought) synergize incredably well. I leap into packs or regs or rares and with a great damage reduction for the armor buff, debuff the packs damage/attack speed with shout, and revenge to heal. Shortly after the Iron impact armor buff wears off you start to take more damage so you simply Furious Charge through the cluster for a nice heal and back away for leap to return. As leap and charge both have a 10sec cooldown so you fall into a rythum pretty easilsy. In addition, Inspiring Presence means you don't have debuff them as often and also gives you the bonus of 1% healing per second should you need to kite for a bit longer to regen before leaping back in. I would say my stats are close to minimum given the difficulty of Act2 however I made it to the blood recovery quests in just a few hours. You should give the build a try. The only downside is that there isn't really any room for Ignore Pain, though I honestly rather Threatening Shout as it provides a much more predictable damage income.
