Diablo posses all 7 heroes for d2 lod and makes them as his minions he uses them to kill tyrael and deckard cain to revive his brothers.He destroys the arcane sanctuary and builds a mini river of flame in space.In order to reach him you must interrogate his minions to help you build a stairway.You must find such chars as akara to take the demon out of them (i dunno i just get a chuckle out of seeing akara shout the power of christ compells you) anyway once you bring live back to the chars you have mor char options that you will use to conquer the 3 brothers.once the story is over you discover that tal rasha has set fire to lut ghoelin and all the land below making it impossible for you to come down from hell you see cain and he tells you to come with him then behind him spreads wings and tyrael comes behind him thats were you go to heaven and become a archangel to come back down to permanatly kill tal rasha.once you discover that griswold has killed all your other companions thats when all the charecters must kill him.after that tyrael says for all the losses you must be sacrificed and he will take your soulstone and harness it in heaven foever.Well here it comes DUH DUH DUUUUUH.diablo takes your soul stone and brings himself to life for the next sequel
