I also got the Gloves of Worship from T1 cache split farming, my first split farming attempt ever, which netted a total of 16 Act 2 caches. In fact I got 7/16 of those caches containing legendaries, with a guildy of mine pissed at me that he's farmed similar numbers of caches with zero legendaries. But it's still just anecdotal individual rng, and not outside the range of possibility for what Blizzard claims is the case. There's not really any reason for them to lie about caches being better on torment, considering all of the other things that they come right out and state improve on torment (torment specific legendaries, steadily increasing chance at legendary drops, etc.). So, as goes probably the most common statement on these forums......... rng is rng. That said, it's still possible there is some difference that they don't make public, but not likely.
Legendaries in 7 of 16 caches has got to be astronomically unlikely, regardless of difficulty.

Your Tal's off-hand seems like it has a really low dmg range for a lvl 70. I think it actually matches the lvl 60 range on the armory page. Is that a bug? Or are set off-hands just supposed to have crap damage? I noticed that if you gamble on sources you will either get a cubed-shaped or ball-shaped one, and even though they are both lvl 70, all the cube one have crappy damage. Anyone know why that is?
After watching the video, I'll answer my own question. Its a display bug in the armory that makes the source show up with 100ish +dmg stats, rather than 300ish. Still don't know why the cube-shaped gambled sources have such bad dmg though.

    my wizard: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Xumio-1576/hero/20454330

I've gone more of a tanking route with the melee build and focused mostly on fire dmg abilites just to get some variety from the cookie cutter builds popping up. With some better rolled legendaries and a few upgrades I think I could do t3-t4 solo without too much effort. Right now I'm simply too low dps to kill anything efficiently at that level.

    The setup:

Spectral blade stacks 70+ easily on large aoe packs, with 4 stacks Flash of Insight drop Black Hole to get the per mob dmg bonus, get to 5 stacks then nuke away with Wave of Force. With my ias/loh my spectral blade is usually enough to keep me up through almost anything short of stuns/frozens and the synergy of a few talents leads to pretty large stacking +fire bonuses. The overall dmg output solo target isn't boner-inducing, but the toughness/healing are enough to stand on Gholm, take the clouds and the punches to the face, and never go below 90% health. Buffed up I sit just shy of 11mil toughness I believe and usually 23-24k healing.

I'm totally open for suggestions on how I can tweak this. I loathe the cookie cutter specs and glass cannon style characters who can't take a hit, let alone tank 30-40 mobs. Sorry I don't have any videos, but feel free to add me at Xumio#1576 if you want to chat or see it in action.
I'm not sure how much conflagration helps you. You have 0 CHD as far as I can tell, so the 6% crit chance is pretty small dmg bonus. Could switch that for Dominance and take the shielding off your Magic Weapon for 10% more dmg.

I'd say a socket in your weapon instead of IAS (can go ruby or emerald), and try to get 3 sockets in your chest and 2 in pants. With how strong the gems are in ROS, its tough to use gear that doesn't have 2-3 sockets. I used Wave of Force in a similar Arcane build and found it to be a lot of fun, but I was going through mana pretty quick. I used the one that gives you a 2% dmg boost for each enemy hit, which was often 10+ enemies. You might also try Explosive Blast since you have Fire and calamity. You can hit EB, teleport in, EB goes off, you spam Wave of Force a couple times and most things are dead.

Thanks for the info, updated. I also found that rares shift from rolling 5-15% to skills at lvl 60 to 8-15% at 70, with legendaries rolling 10-15% to skills.

    Hi Casanova,

I've tried the build and liked it, though I don't have any of the "tricky" items. But still there was something that bugged me about it. It's tanky indeed, but it's somehow slow, compared to the most common Frozen Orb build. So I experimented a bit and came up with this: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#WhZOSj!ZiRS!YbYZZa

1st of the things was the low output of damage and extremely close range of Arcane Orbit. In reality you need to shove your nose up enemy butts, to be able to damage them. Instead the Ray of Frost rune Sleet Storm expands to 22 yards around you, cost only 16 Arcane Power, contrary to the 30 from Arcane Orb (Orbit). The damage is single 375% weapon damage, compared to the 236% per orbit, still the range is bigger and the damage goes up high almost as Frozen Orb.

2nd was the Black Hole and it's high cooldown. So I've changed it with Explosive Blast (Short Fuse). The exploasion does 909% weapon damage as fire 12 yards around you with 6 seconds cooldown. Cost 20 Arcane Power.
    ...
I would like to hear some feedback.
This is a cool build for people without some of the legendaries, but if you have Moonlight Ward, you don't really want to use anything that isn't an arcane spell, since it adds 20-25% to Arcane. I have a 24% Ward, so a non-Arcane build has to be insane for it to come close to my arcane spells.

I personally run this build when I'm dealing with boss fights, and Rift Guardians. Makes things melt. I have Gesture of Orpheus so I don't need Illusionist to reposition the Time Warp. A build like this would be cool for your setup. Switch Conflagration for Elemental Exposure if you think 10% damage is worth 6% crit.
I don't understand Elemental Exposure in the boss fight build you linked. You have all Arcane skills, don't you? You probably have something else on your weapon. Do you just run that passive for the 10% bonus dps then? Or does the Familiar give Fire dmg?

I just noticed that shoulders can roll Gargantuan damage for WD's aswell, probably 5-15% as the rest of the skills. I got a pair with 13% Gargantuan damage.

I know quiver can roll +% damage to cluster arrow, one might assume that it will roll same as head and boots, will keep an eye out for more quivers.

After testing my luck on making quivers for an upgrade, I found out that my theory was correct and that I'm unlucky.
Thanks for the data guys, I'll add these to the charts. I suspect there are more than just Head/Boot skills on Quivers, since most classes off-hand has a mixture of resource spenders from several different slots.

Also, Bagstone, thanks for the BB code text file tip. That's what I did, and now the list can have nice formatting and stop wasting my time.

Because I didn't see a set or legendary quiver that always rolls a skill boost, and I don't play a DH, so I don't know what can appear on quivers. Please let me know what is out there, and I'll add it.

Thanks, I don't think they'd updated this in the database when I went through, and the one I found had fire, so I assumed they all did.

Does anyone know how to keep the editor from putting in a million line breaks every time I edit my post? Every time I hit save during an edit, it adds another blank line before each of my headings. I can go through occasionally and delete them, but its annoying as hell.

thank you all for the replies. over on the official forums, it would be 30 posts of calling me a scrub or complaining about something completely unrelated to the topic.
Your a noobmonkey and daylight savings time is stupid.

I think the best/easiest "perma-spender" builds right now are using Whirlwind with the 1 fury for each mob hit rune. There are HotA builds that don't run a generator, but I don't think they work well without specific legendaries, as others have mentioned.

Edit: Accidentally used the correct form of "you're" in my first post, wouldn't seem like the bnet forums without grammatical errors in the insults.

I like the current system because it gives me another incentive to trade stuff with people in my games. If I'm playing my geared up Barb, odds are that most legendaries aren't an upgrade for me, but may be nice for the alt of someone in my party.

Legendaries on the battle.net page list only the affix ranges for the level they first drop, I believe, and these ranges can scale for a higher level. At least I found a Cindercoat with +19% fire damage.
Yep, I had that suspicion, but they don't have consistent damage ranges at 60, so I just left them as they were on the bnet site until I see the item in game or someone reports it here. Is your Cindercoat 15-20%? I assumed so, and thats what I've updated it to reflect. We'll see how this all holds at 70.
