This is F'ing BS...This push back is ridiculous...they aren't releasing it because of a few bugs in beta my ass, just look at the Cataclysm release almost all of the raids were bugged upon release and they still put it out there. The reason i think this happened is because of WOW (and no I'm not a WOW hater or conspirator that its blizzards baby above all else). But in all honesty, they say that WOW is a different market and that they aren't affected by other games but that is just even more bull.

When SC2 came out WOW's subscriptions started dropping and haven't recovered since, and that is because of SC2 even if they deny it, and the same will happen when D3 comes out. The difference is that D3 and patch 4.3 would have been close, and patch 4.3 is the conclusion of Cata so they want people on there playing the end of the expansion. I mean seriously this beta could have been release 6 months ago, its almost identical to last years bs they showed at blizzcon and it only took a week to see major issues with the game and address them.

i love ur mod, but i got pissed and stopped playing, bc i play solo, i d/l the solo version then got to act 2, on a summon mancer, then to lvl 38 and still couldnt take down duriel, and now i cant even get to him anymore bc skele's and golems get owned by the tower and uniques around the first tomb of tal rasha (before entering true tomb), then i tried a new build, a pure bone mancer and got owned, then a mix of both and got owned...i like the diffuculty aspect but the solo version is impossible

its an ok idea, i like the fact that you can respec but it also kills the reason to create multiple chars bc now a sorc can just respec and own whole game just like pally it brings balance but also less of a need to create new chars (not that a light sorc couldnt own already but id say cold is easier to mf some monsters)

Enough said, and this is with just one person playing alone... On average players are working in groups of 3-6 to bring down these epic bosses including the return of Lazarus and other demonic lords of hell. Azmodan, Belial, Asmodeus, Baphomet, Amon, and Moloch

Last we heard is Act 1 is all done from the artists' side, and they were working on playable Act 1 content as the art team has moved to Act 2. That was said earlier this year, about the same time they said that three classes are heavily in the works, the mechanics of the fourth class (which had no art at that point) was being developed and the fifth class was only on paper.

I estimate that by Blizzcon, they will have finished a crude version of Act 1 with a good number of dungeons, almost all art required to get Act 2 kicking, and four very playable classes with some basic art and abilities for the fifth class. They should already be able to release the fourth class and some new Act 1 dungeons. I bet they could also show some Act 2 terrain if they wanted to.

It would also be fun if they showed some PvP. I bet that by the end of next year when they will have finished all five classes, they will allow Blizzcon attendees to engage in PvP tournaments themselves.
