This is a forum, people come here to read and write about Diablo. Many posters can't watch videos whenever they can browse a forum.
So while you might very well have nice ideas, you could as well write them in Chinese

And nobody even mentions the free Diablo 1 remake. It's just "all we got was necromancer!"
Pathetic.
If you hate Diablo 3 so much, find another game to play. That's what I did.

You know, it's funny you say that. Last I checked, Blizzard removed the Real-Money Auction House from Diablo 3. You know, that in-game feature where Blizzard got a portion of every real-money sale?
Sounds like maybe money isn't all that they care about.

You realize that problems like this are exactly the reason we have PTRs in the first place, right?
OP: You will never have the right to complain about anything on the PTR. The PTR is intended to provide a better product. It is not intended for you to play around on and have fun. If you aren't interested in testing and breaking the game, then the PTR isn't for you and you should stick to live servers.

This isn't the first time the upgrade idea has popped up and it won't be the last. It's not a bad idea, it's just not something that is ever going to happen in Diablo.

On-topic: Yeah, this PTR community buff is ending very soon. Are people going to complain? Yes. Are people already always complaining about literally everything? Yes.
Diablo 3 has one of the shittiest fan-bases that I've ever seen. You can see it in the Reddit threads, you can see it on Diablo Fans, and you can see it on the official forums. They're always complaining. Nothing is ever going to stop them from complaining. So, is it really so bad if they complain for a week or two about the PTR drop rate? No.

I mean, every time I mention anything about how I want there to be an end-game, everyone tells me that farming for items is the end-game. The whole point of the game is to farm for items, looking for that perfect piece of gear. Okay, so, I get to the point where I finally accept that and decide that Diablo 3 isn't the game for me.
But, now that they're implementing a new tier of gear and expanding the farm game, I see nothing but complaints. So, what's the deal: Is it a farming game or not? I mean, that's what everyone was telling me before, but now all I'm hearing are complaints that your gear isn't going to be good anymore and you're going to have to farm all this stuff and blah blah blah. It doesn't make any sense.
You want to know what I think? I think that Diablo players, generally speaking, hate change. Use Ramalandi's Gift as an example: They announce this item that adds a socket to a weapon. I see this and think, "hey, that's a good change! Now weapons without sockets can be useful!" But what do I see on the forums? "Oh great, now my BiS weapon SUCKS! F U BLIZZ!" They gave us an item that made all weapons potentially useful (because, remember, a weapon without a socket was a piece of junk) and all anyone had to say about it was, "oh, great, now I have to FARM A NEW WEAPON." In a game about farming. A game where players are fiercely protective of the fact that it's a game about farming.
If you want a farming game, then don't complain when they give you stuff to farm.
