For 200 mil buy a good pair Inna's legs and a Witching hour, you've got enough resistances unless you're doing MP10. I'm mainly doing MP2 runs and I'm running with ~450 resistances and 0 LS/LoH. Health globes are enough to keep you alive.
To compensate for the Vitality loss try to get shoulders or boots with vitality, maybe a decent pair of Ice climbers,or upgrade the gear that has 0 or very little vitality if you feel it's necessary.
Edit: it also appears you're using enchantress as companion? run with the scoundrel for the 3% crit instead.
wow 109 fire resist on that chest. never seen a resist that high. nice monk, well balanced too. I would say your life is low but that is with an experience gem in the helm, even with that i am guessing your high resist armor and LS make you regen quite nicely anyways. I just looked on the AH (US, i know you are EU) you could get the same chest with a 3rd socket for dirt cheap (under 3m). Sorry about the only advice i can offer without getting into ridiculous gold amounts.
Try picking up an amulet with average damage, dex and cc/cd, rest of your gear will be small upgrades which will cost you tons. If you decide to get resist on your helm maybe look for one with more of it, 17 resist is kind of a wasted affix.
Oh, and yeah... Mainhand weapon should have the most dmg, offhand weapons' dps doesn't matter
Don't spread bullshit, offhand dps DOES matter.
Anyway, I'm using a Won Khim Lau and echoing fury right now, the added lightning damage on the WKL affects all of your damage so try to get one with 25-30% combined.
Echoing fury because the "+0.2x" attacks per second also affect your other weapon making even 1.2speed weapons attack really fast.
Small update, have around 50 mil budget now, got lucky doing keyruns yday.
Upgraded my ring before that already gave me a 5.6k dps upgrade and armory still hasn't updated my shoulders either. Either way gonna aim for a 1100+ Echoing fury now.
Already picked up a pair of Vile wards earlier with 189 dex, 79 vit, 128 resistance combined, 261 armor and some Life p/s so I guess I'll upgrade my belt and rings next, but what should I replace my belt with? I genuinely can't afford a witching hour and i'd only gain a small bit of Dexterity upgrading it with a different rare beside some vitality which I don't really need atm.
I'm probably getting a hellfire ring one of these days so I'll try to upgrade one of my rings and after that save for a good echoing fury I guess.
Since I'm mainly farming MP2 your point about the stone of jordan is good, stuff dies absurdly fast already and I'm not actively killing Uber bosses so it's not that helpful.
I've geared up quite a bit past few days and now I've come to the point where upgrades are gonna cost tens of millions but I find it so hard to pick what to upgrade next.
I've mainly been looking for:
- A new pair of Lacuni prowlers with crit chance on them
- New rings, I might get the hellfire ring this week but farming the keys is mind blowingly boring and they're not that amazing either with 4 random properties, been looking for a natalyas or Unity ring but if you want CRD or AS ontop of the default stats you'll pay 50 mil+ easily
Been trying to snipe a good rolled Stone of Jordan aswell but as soon as it gets + lightning damage prices skyrocket.
- A new echoing fury, but trying to find one with dex, crit damage a socket and 1100+ dps is gonna cost loads aswell.
- A good pair of Ice climbers, was saving for those but was able to pick up these vile wards for what seemed a fair price to me ( 26 mil)
I'd get rid of that belt and use the chest for the 2 set bonus and possibly replace your second ring, shouldn't be too expensive to get a decent crtchance/as or critdamage/as one with decent amount of dex.

Got lucky y-day and sold a set chest for 17 mil and bought boots, echoing fury, gloves, amulet and headpiece from it, jumped up about 30k dps, going to save up for inna's chest now or possibly a new MH weapon, any other pointers?
I know my boots don't have movement speed but I tried searching for boots with 220+ dex and movement speed and the prices are out of control. Will buy a new pair of those in the long run but it's not a huge priority
1 Vit = 1.66 All Res for you, and 14.5 Armor, so it's your best upgrade, survivability wise, in that sense.
Edit: I may be wrong, but the pants look like they can be upgraded without sacrificing DPS... depending on budget/what's available.
Swapping gems is very cheap, so try changing dex to vit and seeing how it plays, if you haven't already.
Yeah, because I was looking for new pants was why I created this topic mainly as it has the most vitality of any of my gear, and swapping it out would most likely mean losing alot of it, and I'm not swimming in gold where I can afford high dex and high vit pants, it's either one or the other, especially while trying to get high resistance on it aswell.
Currently clearing act 2 with fair ease but I feel like I'm missing 10-15k hp for act 3, stat wise I should be able to do remotely decent in act 3 but I'm getting utterly destroyed and I feel like it's cause I'm only at 24k Hp, is it worth replacing my dex gems for vitality ones? I feel like i'll be gutting my dps alot by doing so.
Using mantra of conviction with submission to keep resolve rolling on everyone in range, worked great when I just got into act 2 ( with worse gear obviously).
Maybe mantra of healing is a better choice?, would push me to 1023 resist.
I'm at 33.9k dps with Breath of heaven, should I maybe swap out my weapon for a bit less dps and more LoH? My tactic has mostly been relying on absurd damage so far, not corpse ressing but playing smart and doing immense damage with SSS and cooldowns up ( Literally blowing up half a champion packs hp in act 2 with a 30% blind damage > 24% mantra damage > 15% breath of heaven damage > SSS burst).
On a sidenote, I absolutely and utterly HATE deadly reach, I'd rather roll a range class before using that even if it's gonna keep me stuck in act 2 for eternity.

I love using SSS with fulminating onslaught, very underrated ability even before the buff.
Trying to find some better rings and a good helm but it's difficult.
