"Is it known how the 500% generator buff works with the 100% buff from pants? is it additive or multiplicative?"

    Not sure yet honestly.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying for sure how good it will be, but I'm not discounting it either. Yes using generators before was a DPs loss, but 500% damage and 25% ias is huge. And you can still use a 2 hander, in fact what I'm picturing in my head ATM is a flying dragon. Litteraly I'm pretty sure you will get the 3 stack in under a second with that and the right set up, but I haven't had the chance to get on ptr (plus I may have deleted my raiment set now that I tink of it).

Also waiting to see what happens with SWK though, I'm pretty certain the 4 PC bonus will get moved to 6 and the new passive will be 4, but if not that and in as will be pretty hard the beat by anything.

@ shapookua.  Yes but your missing the mythic rhythm part, after every 3 attacks with a spirit generator it boosts your next spirit spenders damage by 40%, which if I remember correctly is multiplicive making it now a 7000% weapon damage . Before it wasn't worth using the generators (or spender in the case of swk pre 2.1.2) but with the very high IAS possible with raiment and the 500% damage increase, plus depth diggers. It might be worth using.

Also I was referring to the OP (original poster) not the 5000% being OP, but it will be good

In regard to the OP about the raiment 6pc, I believe there is a huge reason behind it and its actually pretty good if what I think is right. Basically it makes dashing strike a 5000% damage spirit spender. Now the reason that is good is if its a spender, it should benefit from a very forgotten passive, mythic rhythm. Yeah that 5000% damage dashing strike just got even more insane. And with very high IAS you should be able to use it every second or 2.

OK one thing confusing me here is the people who want trading but claim kadala/rif ruined the game. You claim kadala/RIF allows you to gear to quickly, what do you assume trading will do??? Did you play D2? You could just hop free stuff games all day and get gear and the only thing worth a damn was a few select items with perfect rolls.

At least kadalaRIF requires you to farm fragments, joining a free stuff game didn't even require that. And anyways RIF is dead with next patch.

As much as I like sleet storm, being up close and personal gets very dangerous at t5-6. Been playing with it a lot on my wizard, using one of the other runes is much better for the most part as it gives you range, particularly when you have a light of grace.

Posting from phone right now but one of the builds I use might be good in 2.1 as it groups elites, clears some of the crap they throw around, semi freeze locks, boost all damage by 30%. All while staying at a safe range. Might post it later when I'm on my home PC.

    Quote from Tehstool
That is probably a result of the difficulty change. You didn't kill them on torment, you killed them on inferno or whatever.
To be fair, some of those achieves could have been harder when they were first done than they are now. Personally I think they should have just gave us the updated achieves I've we had the equivalent already. Was pretty depressing to see achieve points drop and know you had to do them all over again

Also wanted to add (didn't edit cause these forums suck on a smartphone) I don't thin I would get rid of hammer because

    1. In terms of efficiency its still 200% damage per 10 wrath. Hard to match especially for holy.

    2. Can hit more than once if a boss moves. Is really big, or spawns adds. Which is basically 99% of the monstets.

    3. To damn good on trash. Period.

Yeah I checked it out when I got home and holy cause was giving me a 28k damage increase + the heal. So it stays for now.

After looking at that i think Skycutter is one of the more valuable weapons for a holy crusader as that talent pushes it to near 2 h damage with higher attack speed and no movement penalty, not to mention 15-20% holy damage and a heal. Not sure if it better than some of the flail procs but definitely something I'd like to experiment more with.

Build I'm using and gear :http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/adhal-1845/hero/43729242

Close to what I'm using, but I use smite-reaping as my primary ( health regen is amazing from it,5k a sec) and the last skill I use condemn as its amazing dps with a 15sec CD. All holy so give me 4 attacks that are boosted by holy damage.

If iI can get the right gear I may even make it more a range build with justice and fires of heaven as my wrath spender. I'mm also reconsidering holy cause because I just recently realized its on 10% weapon damage and hearing the heal is only actually .1%, so gonna play around with it and see what works better.

*edit* found out on aoe its .1% heal, single target is 1%. Still seems a little lackluster though.

Gonna have to agree with people on 700k DPs and 12m not being entry level, especially for torment 1. My monk is around 250k DPs and 7.5m toughness and soloing torment 1

I was using the exact same build for a bit, not bad but have been having more success with a holy based build with the passive that adds 10% holy damage and heals when you attack with holy damage.

Still might work great with the right gear though

posted a message on Are MP0 speed runs terrible for loot?
    Quote from Ally25

Playing a TR monk I usually just run through trash 1 shotting it all. So yea I wonder how many lvl 63s or rings, ammys or even legendaries I have missed because Blizzard refuses to add a real Legendary drop alert and bans anyone for using a good addon that does nothing but lets you know a Legendary dropped. I prefer to listen to music while I play games not have the game sound maxed out with no other noises in my house so maybe I can hear a legendary drop

You can't see a big lazer beam shooting up at the sky or the blip for about 5 seconds on your mini map? I run the same way and have never used sound in d3 yet have never had an issue spotting a legendary.

Either way even before they added the beams I realized missing legendaries is the price I might pay for speed running...

    Quote from MONK_P100

    TR the most efficient?

Who is the first character reaching paragon 100?

Among the first 100 paragon characters, there are how many monks and how many barbs?

Nothing needs to be changed, and I accept the challenge and fun playing monk as it is.

.... who was the first hardcore char to hit paragon 100? mage

Does that make them the best farming class? No

Bad point on your part. Also first paragon 100 was pre-MP, when inferno was equivalent to Mp3-4 and less legendaries dropped, making TR much, much more expensive to get started. MP0-1 and mass legendaries evened the gap
